Hey Brady, I just wanted to say thanks for doing your thing. Your experiment with Leon has been nothing short of FASCINATING. All of it, the concept, the music, the videography seeing how Leon has grown and how lobsters and other organisms in the tank behave and eat. Most important though: how something as unsuspecting as this would help my father and me bond so well! We watched most of your videos over a few evenings, but not all. A few weeks later, he lamented at how much he enjoyed that time spent and was wondering how Leon was holding up. We have plans to keep watching the rest soon over the holidays. I love the music used in your videos too; calming and cerebral. The tracks remind me of material from one of my favorite bands: Boards Of Canada I am getting him a Leon mug for Christmas because he already collects coffee mugs, but more so to commemorate how special the little things can be sometimes with our parents. Thanks.

On behalf of every animal you care for, may I say a huge Thank You for the wonderful life you give them (including the wild animals you feed). Wishing you continued success and happiness ☺💖🌟
You’re a terrific filmmaker! I can see that so many other people have gotten drawn into Leon’s journey and have come to appreciate Leon more because of your RUclips series. Leon is big, beautiful, active, and seems very happy. Congratulations on your success in sharing this heartwarming, fascinating story with the world!
Yay, another Leon video! I'm glad he didn't get hurt when his cave rocks fell. Thank goodness for a strong exoskeleton! The days he greets you with his claws up he might be begging for food. That's what my crayfish used to do. Thank you for another lovely video. I loved the story at the end. 😂👍
@CactusGaming YT My crayfish had two different gestures with his arms up like that. One was definitely defensive. And the other was actually pretty sweet. If he felt like someone was a threat he would flash the underside of his claws and flush them bright orange. (Which was rare once he felt at home) He held his arms up when he was being defensive, but with his elbows out. Like a bodybuilder trying to look big. Lol. It was a stiff posture, like he was braced and ready to fight. Actually, his whole body was braced and looking big like that when he was being defensive. The other gesture with his claws up didn't have his elbows out like a bodybuilder. His arms were straight, like he was reaching. Or like a kid begging to be picked up. The color under his claws remained a soft, muted orange when he was feeling calm. And he seemed more relaxed, not bracing. The rest of his legs were relaxed, too - usually climbing his rocks to be closer to where I fed him. So, you're right that having the claws up can mean that a crayfish (probably a lobster too) is feeling defensive and wants to look bigger. Or it can mean that he sees someone who usually gives him food and he is eagerly reaching for whatever might be given to him. It's a somewhat subtle difference. But if you saw both I bet you would be able to tell. 😊
Beautiful and peaceful video, as always. Your narration makes me feel at ease and I love to watch your videos before going to sleep. Thanks for being a great lobster and cat dad. 🙏

I'm sure Leon is very grateful for all that you have done for him and all that you've provided. It's great that now he has something else he can do as his day passes by.
I love how your videos can educate people on the fact that lobsters are very much so sentient and behave almost like dogs. This gives everyone who can't afford a lobster pet the opportunity to experience the way a lobster can behave :)
Your video put a big smile on my face. Leon has really come into his own, the glass shrimps are clowning around and expecting babies, the crabs outsmart Leon and are thriving... This lobster is a part of my life now. I have no regrets.
I’m amazed at how well you have kept Leon, from how to feed him to getting larger and larger aquariums. He really is pretty, in a lobsterish way. Pretty colors. He’s like a prince.
Hey, Brady, love the videos as always. I just wanted to say your cinematography in this particular video was very pleasant to look at and well presented. You managed to capture a lot of cool stuff
The closeups of Leon were extra clear in this video!
Yes I was thinking the same thing!
I love Leon and the narrator's calm, interesting, professional-sounding voice. I also LOVE all the comments and how everyone loves Leon. Thank you for saving him. It's so sad to see the lobsters in tanks with their claws rubber-banded together. ♥️
The tracks remind me of material from one of my favorite bands:
Boards Of Canada
I am getting him a Leon mug for Christmas because he already collects coffee mugs, but more so to commemorate how special the little things can be sometimes with our parents. Thanks.
Disco that is very cool!!! Thanks for sharing. ✌️✌️✌️🦞
dang! I haven't thought about Boards of Canada in forever. Thanks for the reminder ☺️
@@Bradybrandwood I love watching Leon as he moves along in life, I just started watching about a month ago but have watched all of his journey. It's all awesome content including your cats and coy updates, I definitely look forward to seeing more of Leon and might be ordering something soon. Thank you for being a hero to Leon and letting many people enjoy the ride along with him and you.
You're a hero for spending this time with your Dad and being so thoughtful to engage with one of his collections, coffee mugs. This holiday season is my first without either parent alive, and while neither was perfect, I'd give almost anything to have one more afternoon of bonding, sharing, chatting with either. Love to you & your Dad this holiday ❤️
@@celestewatson4874 Thank you for sharing that, Celeste. Gratitude is something I’m trying to practice every day in my life, so I’ve chosen to love those who matter to me before I know I’ll regret it. I’m so sorry for your loss too - we all know it’s something inevitable, but it’s never anything you’ll ever be truly prepared for.
It interesting to see the subtle colors he has...especially on the underside. I'm glad he's loving his new home. ❤🦞
Not me getting emotional over Leon 😢 I just love ur relationship w him and just the whole story ! This is what we need more of in the world, love and kindness ❤🥹
That is true! ✌️✌️✌️🦞
Always great to see a new Leon video. He is looking great. If you hang a Noel sign right this Christmas it will spell Leon on the tank. Lol
😅😅😅❤️ Brilliant!
Leon is looking great! I love how he's built out his defenses
You don’t know how awesome you are, Brady. Thank you for rescuing him, I can tell Leon loves his new life and you for rescuing him. Thanks for keeping everyone updated! I enjoy your adventure vlogging as well! :)
I am emotionally invested in to the well-being of who was once a supermarket lobster. Love you Leon.
He is absolutely thriving. He looks so well... what an incredible difference isn't it to what he was like when you first rescued him. He's just gone from strength to strength over time 💜
Leon is one lucky lobster. He may have ended up as a meal if you hadn't adopted him. His story is amazing, and he has such a wholesome fan base
He would have ended up a meal for certain! He was in a live tank at a supermarket. Such a neat little miracle this is eh?❤️
He still might, plot twist, he is fattening him up to become a meal for two.
These videos are soothing in the same way as staring into a campfire is.
Leon!!!💓 🦂 💓he looks great very healthy and colorful! Thank you so much for caring for him! Very heartwarming!
Just introduced another new person to Leon today. Great to have an update. Thanks so much!
I am so happy to see a new video of Leon, glad he is doing good....I love the red colors on him...
Leon is looking good! And I love seeing him redecorating! Absolutely love everything!🤍
I love Leon's new tank! It is beautiful and makes taking care of him easier for you Brady! BTW, Merry Christmas to the Leon family!! ...Did you move the koi fish to North Georgia too??
I’m in the process of doing that now. ✌️✌️✌️
"All part of the story"...and what an amazing story it is!
I love seeing how houseproud Leon is; clearing away his dishes and moving his furniture to what he reckons is the best place.
Everything weighs less underwater, so the rocks falling on Leon probably wouldn't cause him too much of a problem.
@@chadrbot5505 True. Still, I wouldn't want them falling on my foot even then. Unless I was wearing our fake exoskeleton, aka shoes. 🦞
Huh, I thought when they spread their claws and arms out (like they're praising something) it was a defensive manuever to seem larger?
I neeeed more Leon videos. He literally made 6 days in the hospital feel like 2 as well as u Mr Brady and the music is so soothing
Can we just appreciate how this series has captivated the interest in the hearts of so many? Not to mention every video just gets a little bit better in production quality. Love following Leon on his journey.
Always a great day when a Leon video drops!
Keep the updates coming, we love following Leon.
Next time Leon molts, would you think of preserving the shell in a resin mold & either auction it for fund-raising or donate it to a local school for biology lessons?
I think this would be a wonderful idea. I would love to see the process of this being done also.
I love watching Leon, he has grown up so healthy and so handsome. Love his new home too. And as everyone says you are a great story teller and have a great voice. Watching Leon in his new tank with his baby shrimp and crabs is so much fun watching too. Have fun ever thought of getting Leon an algae eater?
Also I forgot to ask do your cat ever jump on top of Leon's tank just to watch him and his friends now? And if they do I hope it is strong enough so they don't fall in. Cats have to explore and be everywhere.
Great and wonderful video. Thank you for sharing with us. ❤️🤗🦞🦐🦀🐈🐈⬛
Fantastic idea!
Thank you, Brady, for sharing and documenting. LEON certainly displays a rainbow of colors- beautiful!
We enjoy the "signature" music so we know it's another LEON adventure.
Keep up the great work, Brady.
Congratulations on the move! 🦞
Watching Leons story over the past year has truly been a delight. I'm glad he's doing so well.
Such a wonderful Christmas surprise getting a Leon update!🙏🏻💕
I just love watching leon and hearing his human's voice. Thank you from Cape Town.
Leon looks so healthy and happy! Thank you for allowing us all to witness his journey. I know we have all become emotionally invested in his story.
It's always heartwarming to see the care you've put into your relationship with Leon. Well done sir.
I love you Leon 🥹 I’m so happy ur lovin ur new home you gangster you. Can’t believe how invested I’ve been in ur entire life but I wish you nothing but the happiest lobster life there could ever be💖
Leon is just gorgeous and I love seeing how his aquatic ecosystem keeps growing with life.
He is a happy lobster. His colors are bright. Thank you for these videos.
Brady, this is the coolest story line of any I follow. Congrats on making an oasis of nature for Leon to enjoy. It's an oasis of nature for all of us to enjoy too. I really enjoy your care for Leon and his friends. Thank you!
I love seeing Leon looking so healthy and doing what comes naturally, and I cant wait for upcoming updates .
I have been completely fascinated by Leon and your documentation of his progress. Watching him grow and interact with his environment gives a new perspective to all life no matter the form. I may never eat a lobster tail again. Thank you for your dedication to enriching Leon's life and ours.
I'm so impressed with how much better your filming has gotten! Not that it was bad at the beginning, but it seems like you're doing actual cinematography now, and it's so cool to watch! I love seeing this project and how Leon grows and matures as well as his environment. I'm so glad you posted that first video so long ago :)
I love Leon's story he's so happy 😊 😃.
I would never have thought I would ever randomly wonder through the month how a lobster is doing today, but I do find myself day dreaming about him at work every once in a while.
The world needs more people like you brady, in one of your tubes, you mentioned. with all the life issues that we all are going through, covid, recession etc, watching your tubes, make people realize, just watch Leon.... " Everything, will be o.k." and just wanted to say THANK-YOU... , hi from Yukon, Canada.... Please keep going on with your success, say hi to Leon, we love dhat You TUbe Friend....
I love how aware you are of individuals needs, Leon, the cats and yourself. Very cool Sir.
Aww, just love watching Leon do his thing! 😊🦞
He looks like he's really enjoying his new digs and keeping busy doing some interior decorating! So glad to see him thriving, and the beautiful colors that are coming out on him.
I think he's really enjoying his Georgia home!
Thanks for keeping us updated with another great video, Brady! ❤️
I’m from north Georgia. I now live in South Florida but when you mentioned winter coming it reminded how cold it gets in winter there.
Yes, I believe all creatures are like this
Your video put a big smile on my face. Leon has really come into his own, the glass shrimps are clowning around and expecting babies, the crabs outsmart Leon and are thriving... So much is happening, all from that one question that arose in your mind one day. What a great decision you made! Thank you for all your hard work. And thank you for that smile. I needed it.
I have to admit I never thought of a lobster as a pet but after seeing yours I really would love to have one myself it's not just the idea of saving it from being eaten it's also the fact that they're probably one of the most interesting creatures that I have ever seen and tidy also they love to keep their area clean! If I can find another place to live where I can have a tank if it isn't too much work I would love to have a lobster of my own and slowly build him a really nice home! Also love your new house with all the plants and everything very cool!!!
What an amazing ShangriLa you have created around Leon!! Wonderful journey!! Always so thrilled to see another episode; long live Leon! ❤️
i love that leon is enjoying his new home an when he is done bulldozing the place im sure he will like it 10 times more
Just binged Leon's videos. Im hooked and looking forward to the next video.
I'm so invested in Leon's life it makes me really happy to see he's thriving
I missed leon. So good to see him!
I think you need to be hired as a narrator for documentaries! I love listening to you! I am throughly enjoying Leon's story too!❤
Omg...I love you got him sand!!!❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏
Awesome seeing Leon again! and that bit at the end with the shirt and the grocery store was hilarious!
Love to see updates on Leon. He seems so happy in his new home.
Pretty awesome to see how the creature has adapted well and is no longer scared or confused with his surroundings.. just makes you wonder what goes through the minds of all animals.
Thank you for taking care of this beauty💚
