I drive by this place all the time from I-35 and always wonder what the inside looks like! Really appreciate the vid! Wish such a historic building could be restored, but I'm sure it's well beyond that point
We went through Missouri a few months ago and stopped by this place. Got some photos of the exterior, but I was with my wife & kids, so going inside was not an option. I'd love to go back some time...
I grew up in kc and ALWAYS wondered what that building was used for before it started rotting away. Do you have any sources where I can find out more about it’s past?

Just to let y’all know, we do prosecute trespassers, especially ones that decide to go in and fall five stories. He broke both of his legs, so I do not suggest going in there.
Drove by it yesterday and it was being demolished (11/20/23) very sad to see! Thanks for making this video in time!

Thank you for watching! We enjoyed showing you what’s in there!
Thank you for the video!! I was always captivated by / curious about this place, saw it daily on my drive to work back in 2008.
Thank you for watching! We’re glad we got the chance to show you what the place looks like!

Just be careful if you go back!
I live in Kansas and seen this building a million times and always wanted to see the inside thank you for showing us
Thank you for watching!
It's being demolished now. Just sad that it couldn't be saved.
I live in KC and pass this building all the time! Thankyou for the video!
Thank you for watching!
That brewery's almost mint- perfect place for a puppet show and some beers
Ever since I was a kid, evertime I saw the Imperial Brewery, I wanted to see inside
The silo at 1:45 is a bulk storage tank for whole wheat that discharges to a pneumatic conveying system, conveying up to the mills.
Thank you for telling us!

I put the links in the description for the history and information.
How do you know where to find all of these abandoned places? I live near KC & I find your videos so fascinating!
Thank you! We’ve traveled to all parts around the city and done a fair amount of research.
I enjoyed your video. Do you know the company real-estate or current owner contact? Lets try to save it if we can. Thanks
3:56 back in ~2004 when you would go to the basement, massive bags about 5 feet in diameter of what I presume was flour was still down there.
I wish we could have seen that! That would have been quite a sight to see.
This place was out of commission due to a fire. I remember being with 2 of my kids watching it burn. It wasa huge disastrous fire.
If you ever get the chance and security is not around I highly reccomend taking a peak

It would be great if it was restored in time I’m sure tons of visitors will see it and it’s unfortunate they will see it in its current state.

Yeah definitely have to watch out for the holes in the floor!
*they prosecuted trespassers they could catch 😉 like with broken legs
How Kansas City treats historical buildings. Wait till nearly unrepairable (Union Station), then decide to rehab.
We don’t live in a communist system if you didn’t know. Old flower mills are privately owned if you didn’t know.
Structurally unsound...difficult access...sad but true. A great building, but
I would definitely agree it’s structurally unsound. I didn’t really like being up on the upper floors for too long.
Been there done that
Paintball??
Could be just be careful with the holes in the floor.
No respect for history. Makes me furious!
Lots of potential but most likely too late now.
