I follow you and Mark Weins and I love you both but I like your honesty because you're going to say if it's good or not! Mark seems like he loves everything he eats and maybe he does! I feel you give authentic reviews!

He only does that at big establishments where his video and influence doesn’t affect their business unlike a small mom and pop shop. Those smaller business he just doesn’t include it in the video.

Mark Weins is better - he goes off the beaten path more. He feels like he could've been a GlobeTrekker/Pilot Guides host.
Plus you can tell if Mark doesn't like something, he won't be as enthusiastic about it. Mikey seems to only criticize if its a big business.
The "bloody" bone marrow is from not soaking it, or not soaking it long enough, in salt water. The salt water will remove the blood, or most of it, depending on how long you soak it. You should soak it overnight, then you get that beautiful white marrow.

You are both correct and incorrect, it was not brined long enough to remove the blood from the bone marrow prior to cooking. It was also not fully cooked since fully cooked unbrined marrow becomes greyish black never red.

The banana pudding is something my family only makes around holiday time and we do another version thats vanilla pudding layered with those nilla wafers whipped cream and actual banana slices so good

I love lengua tacos! I have not had tripas tacos in a long time (they are the small intestines of cow, I think they can have goat and pig too but I’ve only had beef) I love the flavor that is organy, but kinda sweet, the texture is chewy outside but kinda creamy inside. I know it sounds weird but it’s sooo good!

@Late Notice bit harsh bud - he obviously works out his chest and when you let that go a little it can look a bit 'mooby'...lol
@@faym2350 It won't come to that because he eats a lot of those Chinese soups. Some of the noodles are literally 0 calories. You can eat as much of those types of noodles without intaking calories. If you notice, he makes sure to eat a lot of soups with lean meats and vegetables. That helps. Plus he works out. Reason why he stays fit.
@@faym2350 He may also do "fasts" to cleanse his system. NONE OF US KNOWS. The other thing is its his life. IF that's the way he choose to live it; that's his right.
And yes, the noodles are 97% water. They called Shirataki noodles.
The fact that he can eat so much in a single sitting is *amazing* and it’s great for reviewing food 🤣✨

There's no fancy way of eating a taco lol just thought it was funny how you were shoveling those tacos in your mouth. Your always more of a neat eater but in this video you really showed us you were hungry for taco lol 😂. I bet Christine counted your fingers to make sure you didn't accidentally bite one off. I must say they all looked very yummy.
I don’t get grossed out often but for whatever reason his shoveling of the whole taco into his mouth while the onions and fillings fell to the ground was just not pleasant to watch. Show some respect to the tacos man! Lol

Mikey, if you’re still in socal you gotta check out Portos. They’re a cuban bakery but humongous and yummy!
I second this recommendation. Guava & cheese strudel, cheese roll, fruit tart, tiramisu, all their potato balls, and
their tres leches cake are my favorites

Portos is definitely first class delicious, as far as Any Bakery is concerned, but those lines for service are Brutal 🙄

Haha Mikey! As a Canadian I can truly say what you were eating was nothing close to anything that we would call poutine
agreed 💀 the fried curds were borderline sacrilege. it was basically a basket of fried food with a dollop of jam... even if it weren't a poutine, nothing about that seemed appetizing - it looked so dry
Every time I see a video showing a 'play' on a poutine I see a Canadian with a precious comment about how it's not poutine. It's not like poutine is even a dish that displays any culinary skill...just fries and cheese curds and meat gravy. You guys need to relax a bit about it...🤣
I'm sure Mikey as a travel/ food vlogger has probably eaten more poutine than a lot of Canadians have... Just check out his Toronto food tour video.

Years ago, I did an internship at the Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington. They put me on the Fool-the-Guesser game. I helped it increase profits that summer. For lunch, I would go to the booth that sold the curly fries in the biggie cup. That was my favorite thing at the amusement park. They were so good and cajun flavored.
