I’ve been using old plumbing fittings for my restoration work for years but never thought of making a pill container. Due to my health I have a lot of medications I need to store somehow when travelling and this will fit the bill. Same lathe as you have too.

Clever how you used a ball bearing to round over the edge to the coin. That is a new one on me and I'll have to make one up. Thanks for the tip.

Love it - great recycling Steve! I found an old insect spraying device made of brass, at a local tip shop, and there are bits and piece of brass tube and rod and so on. I will have to clean it up (make it safe to handle) and make up something similar. Thanks for the idea.

A good way to align parts in the chuck is to put a suitably sized piece of flat, I use HSS blanks, between the face of the chuck & the part, bridging the bore between the jaws... tap the part in , tighten, then slide the flat out... works every time !!
