I have always exclusively wore Danner, Belleville, McRae and Bates military boots. I found a pair of Dan Post Albany boots on sale. I've never wore a cowboy style boot but these were actually way more comfortable feeling than I thought they would be. So I'm really digging these Dan Post boots even if they're made in Mexico. Dan post has a new sole system that sucks they are the worst cowboy boots I’ve ever owned wen they got rid of the cork it took away the good of the boot ther soles come apart now cheap glue or shitty thread who knows I will never buy another pair unless they are Goodyear welt ther welt is garbage also they can keep ther comfort wen you pay 300 for a average pair of boots they should last more than 6 months especially wen you drive the soles are junk at least the leather I believe they also own loraedo boots they are mostly made in China it’s not even leather I got a pair and I don’t know but shit quality put the cork back in your boots you have lost me for a customer your soles suck I have 20 something pairs of cowboy boots and thers are the worst made a very unhappy x customer
And they made I'm 🇲🇽 MEXICO cheaper labor and sale one pair of boots for 360 400 dollars! And only pay each Mexican person only 100 dollars a week 12 hours days and 6 day's work

I just picked up a pair of these, in a thrift shop. Wasn’t looking for boots at all; haven’t even had a pair of boots, let alone cowboy boots. since about 1977. But these were there in great condition, and looked to be about my size so I tried them on. My goodness! They felt great, and they look good. And at size 11 EW, they fit me perfectly! So now I’m interested in boots. And in watching this vid, with the level of craftsmanship and attention to detail in creating a pair, I can see where $250 or more is definitely reasonable to purchase a pair. Almost makes me feel guilty for having spent less than fourteen bucks after tax on this pair lol

I believe this is the worst of economics. Basically greed over the highest moral standards. Combine the greed of Wall Street with the corruption of the Mexican labor laws and this is what results. Funny how it spreads the blame around so diversely as to excuse the obvious.
