We still cut the groove on the insole (instead of the lace). Then put a leather toe box, hand welt it and flat machine the uppers. It's not cost effective and slow, but it's traditional and truly artisan top notch work.
Fine, fine boots!! I've got some Nocona's I've worn close to 50 yrs...and I'm going to get some Fenoglio's. Wish your sole Label said "Made in Texas" though.
Ok, my next riding boots are coming from these guys. Very hard to find true leather bottom boots specifically for riding. Look forward to the coming purchase!!
I’ve searched out vintage (read not the “modern” Nocona owned be Berkshire and Hathaway conglomerate) because Noconas fit me like no other boot. Can’t wait to get some Fenoglios. See the pride in those employee’s eyes? Why aren’t we all wearing American made quality footwear.
Texas MADE Boots. And yes DJ...my Noconas are as good as ANY, better than most. Their weight and "heft" are noticably heavier and their fit, finish and durability (some of mine are at least 50 years old) are amazing. I'm looking to get some Fenoglios too.
I have no idea why but I’m interested in making boots and have been for years. I wear western boots 90 percent of the time. I wear a size 16 but my Ariats are 15. I’d like to make my own boots. I enjoyed the tour.
Saw in another video. Everything is old school except they use a gemming instead of channeled sole. Steel shank, calf lining, 10 iron outsole, leather counter, all leather stacked heel. They use a hard neoprene filler instead of cork.
I don’t think there’s too many cowboys shopping in Fenoglio stores in cities like NY, Boston, and LA. Fenoglio isn’t about the cowboy anymore, they all about the fashionista hipsters. Cowboys don’t go to the city to shop at single manufacturer boot stores.
Great craftsmanship. Keep the tradition alive. Boots for life.
What a great story. Keep up the good work.
Fenoglio is very high quality boots 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Got a pair from my employers Safety Award Program this year. Can’t wait for them to come in!
Just bought my first pair today and they're absolutely perfect. Thank you for putting so much effort into my boots.
@Seth Watson Lollllll
@Kase Layne LOlllllllllllll

Can you answer a few questions I cant find online if you still work there?
BEAUTIFUL boots!
Bought a pair at NFR this year and I love them. Great fit and very comfortable.

It was love at first sight with your Men's Fuji Tan w/ Tiffany Blue boots. I hope you will get them in my size again so I can order them size 11 EE
Nice!

May have to buy a pair one day simply because it's a Texas made boot, and because that man at 8:39 is wearing a Thor's Hammer
Hey, Thanks Zackary...for pointing out Fenoglio's are TEXAS made boots. "Made in the USA" is OK....but "Made in Texas" is Much more appropriate.
So, y'all in Nocona? I have a a couple pair but I'm thinking, I'm in!!
Do they use a steel shank? Leather counter on heel and toe or is it composite? Vegtan midsole? Cork? Type of lining? Full leather stacked heel?

Can I buy this online?
