The Essence live gig, with Sad Lovers & Giants - 'La Dolce Vita pt 2' 1988

The Essence toured with Sad Lovers & Giants as a double-bill. On the final date the SL&G album 'La Dolce Vita' was recorded, and at the end of The Essence set the bands played together on stage. The Essence are from Rotterdam, The Netherlands. In 1985 their debut single 'Endless Lakes' and album 'Purity' were released. After 'Nothing Lasts Forever' in 1991, the band went through a period of transition until they released 'Glow' in 1995. They're still in existence today.
Filmed at the Dolce Vita club, Lausanne, Switzerland on 26.11.1988.
