Fisher and Paykel DEGX1 dryer bearing repair

This will show how to replace the main bearing in the F and P DEGX1 dryer when it starts making squeaking noises or other crazy noises.

I installed the parts but found that the angle that the shaft hole and the outer bearing assembly hole didn't align well. I got it in and all replaced by pushing up on the drum assembly a bit. The squeech is gone but there is now a rumble which sounds like the drum may be out of line. Think it might just be an additional adjustment needed, or am I screwed?

Leland Adams it sounds a bit like the you might have somehow installed the inner or outer parts incorrectly. Mine lined up without issue after installing. There should not have been any binding.
