from BC Canada and late to the party of 880 (coming from 650 Artista). I love all your u tubes, your energy and very clear instructions. I think it is excellent that you always offer what needle your using, what thread wt. etc. As a relatively new user of my 880B that I bought in 2019 and then life happened, I am finally getting use it. Now that I am finding you more easily (not good with other computers) you are opening up a very exciting world for me. I am back in BC, have a studio, and living the dream despite all the struggles of leaning the 880 .....I am taking it in next week to get it upgraded to 880+. Now I can really learn Thank you for you!!!!!
That is so cool watching it stitching designs. You make it look so easy. Thanks for showing the “how to” to using my embroidery Bernina machine. I have B790 machine (not the plus). Wish I could upgrade to the B790+ 🤔
Love this video. Thank you so much. I've subscribed to your channel. I have the 880+ but may be looking to swap it for the 790 plus. I'm now comfortable with threading so that's not an issue for me like some. But, it appears from looking at the 790 manual that the 790+ has more multi-directional stitches than the 880+. Is this true? Is the 790+ more geared toward quilters? The 880+ is missing the entire Category 1600 stitches (and the 1300 for that matter).
The 880 came out before the B 790. So some of the stitches are numbered differently. There is not a folder that states 1300 lot of stitches, that is the quilting stitches represented by the checkerboard icon. Both are appropriate for quilting. Because the 790 is a new model their are newer stitches. Both are great for quilting but I personally prefer the 880’s feeding over any 7 series and also the 880 is quieter and doesn’t require daily oiling.
Yes. Depending on what material you are decorative stitching on depends on the stabilizer. There are satin style stitches that a far denser and usually require interfacing plus stabilizer. For whispier stitches, a proper spray starch (niagara or faultless from the grocery store) will do. Always test before trying out on precious projects.
Excelent your video. I'm not speak English very well, but you explain very clearly. I've a Bernina 830, please, could you tell me how to remove the dual feed from behind the machine foot.? It seems that it is stuck, I can't remove it. . The manual does not explain it. Thank you. Help. SOS.
@@BERNINAofNaperville OMG...it is too easy. I've 1 month with this Bernina. Is used buy this condition is excelent. Thanks a lot. I don't know this machine because the my english is too poor. Google and my iphone, help me. I finded manual in Spanish, but is complicated. Thanks, thanks, thanks.God bless.
Sandra Currie I draw the lines and then when it’s stitching out I look through the piece and literally only pay attention to keeping the line parallel with the side of the foot.
In the video I am using the B 880 Plus. At this time it is not possible to add stitches to your B 790 Plus. However, sometimes with firmware updates new stitches are added.

When doing decorative stitches do you need to put stabilize under fabric? I just got my 790+ today and will be unboxing it soon.

If the dual
Feed is engaged, lift the presser foot, then pull the dual feed down and push to the back and then it will release up.

I bought Bernina 790 plus from Dubai, but I didn’t get ant training as such
Great video! Thank you so much. ❤️
This was great! Any tips on how to keep everything going straight while it is moving around from side to side? Thanks so much... :)

I have a 790+ but I don’t have stitch 1049 or that folder, how can I get them?

Does my 780 do what the 790 plus does
The 780 has thus multidirectional stitching that the 799 gas.
Can that be done in the B830 too?
Yes.
