I bought the new Bernina 770 QE Plus last October from the closest Bernina dealer to me. I was unable to go for the training because of the distance and the specific training days available. Your videos have been an enormous help to me. I learn something from everyone I watch. Thank you so much for making all these videos. I look forward to any new ones you make.I'm so glad I found them on RUclips.
I didn't find the music annoying or distracting at all. This is the first time I've watched one of these embroidery videos where someone embroidered on a print fabric. I've been wondering about how that would turn out. Beautiful! I'm new to all of this, but learning quickly and learning a lot--good for my old brain, lol. I like the tips you gave on using the metallic thread. Thank you for happily producing videos like these for people like me to learn from.
I’m working on the new OESD Santa tiles and it uses the same thread and it kept break, so I slowed the machine down, changed the needle and put the net over thre cone of thread and it was fine, there was no mention of this in the instructions and I haven’t been embroidering all that long. Your programs are fabulous, I have learned so much, thank you.
Good instructional video. I am new to this and it will be extremely helpful. And I don’t want to be negative but the music was too loud and I found it distracting.
I got a BERNINA 770QE Plus a few months ago. I must say, I am SO disappointed that this machine “Quilting Edition” doesn’t come with more quilting feet. I have spent so much ADDITIONAL money on feet just to do simple quilting things. I wish I could go back….I would make a different decision.
Gayle, I was embroidering nicely today on a project. I had a bobbin issue so I had to remove the hoop to clean our the mangled threads in the bobbin area and clean the area of the feed dogs. Once I was done and ready to begin, I couldn’t figure out how to return to where I left off. The motifs are on a stick, I can pull up the designs but can’t go back to where I was. Do you know how to return to where I left off in my embroidery? Thank you so much.
Well first thing, you shouldn’t have tried to go back and pick the design again. The machine stops and then you use the broken thread icon to cycle back to get where you left off. If you e backed out of the design and tried to pick the design again you have made a lot of work for yourself.
I’m general you use fine bobbin thread for embroidery motifs and some decorative stitches. For regular sewing I match my thread in the top with the bobbin.
I love your videos, you are so funny and make the videos so enjoyable. I have learned so much about my Bernina by watching your videos, thank you so much, I really do appreciate you and your tutorials on these machines. I wish you were local, because there are so many classes and techniques that you show us, I'd love to take a class from you. I'd like to ask about the design that you embroidered in this video, is it available for purchase?
Yes, Please reach out to me at orders@berninaofnaperville.com and I will send you a link to purchase the file (and/or) all of the files in this collection.
@@MySuzieJ Thank you for your comment. This video is pretty old and made in the days when we were just figuring things out. My recomendation to you, turn the volume down or scroll on.

So helpful, Gayle is so knowledgeable! Great instructor! Thank you!!
I had the same problems and used the net that comes with your accessories and put it over my cone of thread.
What same problem are you referring to? Just want to understand your comment :)

@@BERNINAofNaperville thank you sooo much!
I didn’t know to use the broken thread icon. Now I’m sharing this with everyone I know!
Should you use that bobbin thread for all sewing activities or just when doing embroidery

Wow! Learned so much. Thank you Gayle!👏🏻
How to kimball sewing designs. Sailboat
I don’t use my embroidery often, little intimidating. So good to watch this video & refresh.

Добрый день.,сколько стоит эта машинка бернина ?
Excellent videos
I do not know about confidence but learned alot, thank you again for your teaching
What did you do the crosshairs with on your fabric? Looks like pencil.
That was a black heat vanishing marking pen.
Thanks for your video and all information, I'm thinking of buying emroidery unit for my 770 qe, so it was very valuable for me 👍
Great music!
Thank you, Gayle! 🥰
Good video. No need for the music.
@@nancybenolkin4711 this is a really old video before we got more polished. You can turn the sound down in your browser.
Great info but the loud music is very distracting!
You can turn the volume down in your RUclips player for instances like this.
Don't like music
Turn your volume down. 🙄
Very helpful tutorial, but the circus music is too loud & distracting.
Thanks for your feedback it’s an old video and we were experimenting with production. We have made loads of other music-free tutorials since.
