You ladies are awesome! I have had Bernina sewing machines for over 35 years but I have to say I have learned the most from you both. Thank you so much for Sharing your wealth of knowledge!
Another video packed with good information. I have the Big Book Of Embroidery and it is an invaluable resource. It is my embroidery encyclopedia. It sits right next to my machine when I am embroidering. There are so many stabilizers. Too many to remember but with the book I don’t have to stress.
Good morning just took mastery class for Bernina embroidery mastery class yesterday.. does the workbook you suggested cover the 830 Bernina ? I’m assuming it’s an overall view of the embroidery machines on your video ? The 880 was noted in video.
Hi Chris....unfortunately, the new Mastery books do NOT include specific information for discontinued machines. The original 880 differed from the 830, and then they upgraded the 880's to Plus models. The Plus models have a LOT more features than the original 880, which had more than the 830. I believe if you go to the BERNINA USA website, you can still download a manual, but I'm not sure that you can still access mastery books specific to that generation of machines.
Queston regarding thread; are you saying you use 60 wt cotton (Aurifil( for the bobbin with 40 st Isacord for top thread for embroidery? I have never mixed cotton and poly before.
We do exactly that. There are other brands of 60 weight bobbin thread, some of them poly, some cotton. We haven’t found any issues with the cotton, and have been using it for years!
@@QuiltingInTheValley WOW! So surprised to get your fast reply. A friend just told me today about your website and how much she has learned about her 770. I recently bought a new 770; have had an 830 for several years but really tired of how temperamental it is and bought the 770 so I could still use my embroidery module with it. Thanks for sharing your wealth of information. Am looking forward to watching all the rest of the videos.
Hi again! I’m not sure what item you are asking about, or what you mean by ‘any of the item you are showing?’ Are you asking if we have the item in stock? If so, which item? There are a lot in the video!
Although My English is not great I could follow. Thnx. Injagen 590 and got 2 hoops and software 9 . Is the big book Embroidery easy to read because I am not so great in Reading English. I have the machine since januari 2023 but scared to use🫣😳
Thank you so much! Your mastery works well for my 780 which is new to me! I'll be going through all the Mastery with you dear Ladies!
Thank you for an honest tutorial. I really appreciate your advice.

I haven’t used mine yet. This will be a big help. Did you say there was supped to be stabilizer with it? I don’t seem to have that.

Hello, do you work with the artista 180 model
Sorry….I have no experience with that one☹️
Any of the item you are showing? Also hard to hear you. Thanks

Need information on the desk you have, who sells them and info.
It's an Americana Betsy, they deliver to your door. Available in white.
Will it work on the 830?
Hi Suzanne! There’s a lot in this video….will what work on an 830?

Don’t be scared!! They are well made, tough machines! Yes, the Big Book is fairly easy to read….and it comes with LOTS of pictures.
