I agree. Have a 40 year old Bernina Nova and haven't even changed the light bulb. Bernina 720 is always having issues and it is at the repair place often waiting weeks to be repaired. Now module which is about 1 month old won't connect to machine so another trip for repairs. Save your money and buy something else. So sorry i bought this machine and the module.

Dear Barbara, we're sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with your BERNINA 720. We sincerely hope that your BERNINA dealer will be happy to help you. The BERNINA 720 is a great machine which offers a wealth of features and functions the BERNINA Nova doesn't have. However, it is also important to know that this machine is operated differently than the machine from the eighties. Please watch our video tutorials (ruclips.net/p/PLfT1DJU1aEloovD7hONQFwHpvPGAbxfe_) and please don't hesitate to ask your BERNINA dealer for support.

Hi, I have a b700 and the needle keeps hitting the presser foot. What can I do to fix it. Please help, I have father's day gift I need to finish.TYIA

Hello City Girl4ever, thanks for asking. There are a couple of things you can check. The first is the needle that it is not bent, use a new one for the next tip. Check that the needle is going onto the stitch place exactly in the middle. If it is not then it could be the needle bar (what holds the needle) is off. The other possibility is that the foot is bent due to use overtime this can happen. Also, good to check that it is firmly attached. Do you have another BERNINA foot you can use? Maybe a foot #9. Probably best to take the machine in for a service so it is always stitching at its best.

There needs to be a trouble shooting for embroidery module that is more comprehensive. Also often when you press there is no help offered. A useless button in many cases.

Dear Robin, we're sorry to hear that you haven't had embroidery success with your BERNINA 700. Have you visited your BERNINA dealer and asked for help or training? All BERNINA machines are developed at our headquarters in Steckborn, Switzerland. The B 880 PLUS as well as the Q 24 and Q 20 are also assembled in Switzerland. All other sewing and embroidery BERNINA machine models are manufactured at BERNINA Thailand. The plant in Thailand is under Swiss management on site and maintains the exactly same quality standards as our Swiss plant. Information on our production strategy and facilities can be found at www.bernina.com/en-US/Why-BERNINA-US/Sustainability/BERNINA-Factories. We have also published videos about the Thailand factory on RUclips. Here is an example: ruclips.net/video/qDfNIPqAmpY/видео.html. BERNINA Thailand was founded in 1990. Today, it is one of the most modern factories for household sewing machines. Kind regards from Switzerland
