My questions about it are related to what happens after you stop taking it in regards to what it does to the pancreas. What are the chances of a non diabetic person becoming diabetic after stopping treatment? Is that a possibility?

These are all very good questions. These medications do cause more insulin secretion. I have not heard of case studies of people becoming diabetic after using these medications. There are case studies showing excess weight gain after using the med, as discussed in my video. That alone could put someone at much higher risk for future metabolic disorders like diabetes. Managing time on medications and muscle mass is a key component. Miracle weight loss does not exist it has to be in conjunction with other lifestyle factors.

I’m sorry you feel that way. If done well it can be very helpful for the right patient. Obviously nothing works or is right for everyone which is why people need to get assessed by their doctor. I definitely wanted to educate on this as I am seeing a lot of people being put on semaglutide without any other pieces to help them long term. I do believe that is very irresponsible as people will gain back the weight if that’s how it’s done. Thanks for watching.
