What a machine. I remember these guys running their RSX in CSCS up in Canada. Now to see them smash records and rip this beauty around is soooo awesome! Congrats guys from a fellow Canadian!!
Will's design mindset perfectly illustrates the importance of keeping one's EGO in check. other than the fact it helps control costs, just because a part is "STOCK" doesn't mean it's "BAD", and just because we mod a part/change out a part doesn't automatically mean we've made it "BETTER".
15:00 LOL That's so sweet. Today I actually learned something useful about aero : ) Oh and Larry I went to Girdlife this year and met Andy, Ben and Jackie all in the space of like 15min. It was truly magical and now I'm a sucker for track racing. Gridlife at Gingerman is just something special.
Holy this car brings back memories, 2017 world time attack Sydney, I was in the pits helping with the car next to this civic, this civic and the crx in pro am class, absolute weapons, own a civic now because of it 😅
Who would've thought that a Japanese, FWD, stock chassis car would hold the outright lap record at so many tracks in America! Chevy and Ford boys need to step their game up lol
Absolutely love this channel there's just something about Larry and the passion he has for these cars and the incredible photographic and video talent he has is just amazing. Keep on keeping on with the wonderful content Larry don't change a thing.
This is so relatable and humble. Actually what dreams should be made of... Will is actually not just improving his car, but he's also improving himself... and that is so rare in today's world! Well done Will! Be my mechanic? hehe :D (I'm from Malta sadly ... so I'm dreaming on)

Watched him in person at CSCS last year as he took 1st place for the time attack. This video randomly popping up in my feed is wild tbh...never thought I'd see it again.
From France with passion and respect ✌🏼⚜️🇨🇵😎 I drive a CTR FN2 White Champ and as a daily drive, with the road aspect, i can say it's enough even with its humble horsepower #VTEC Family 🏁
The FF peps still running soft springs up-front and hard springs in the rear? That was the secret when I was racing little Tamiya RC toys (TA01-FF/FF-01). I often set the fastest lap times of the day with that setup, and it you could do j-turns at full speed thanks to the lift-off oversteer.
I met William years ago at GingerMan Raceway and put the Tim Horton's logo on the split wing of the old car. Him, his family and team are just the best. Glad to see him back in the states and can't wait to see them at #Gridlife next month!!!
What does the ETH logo on the car stand for? The only ETH I know is from the ETH Zurich, the Technical University in Switzerland. Is this something else? Thanks Larry
21:45 Well the more you chop out the less safe its going to be so I like that. You don't have to murder your car to go fast. Nothing against guys that do because some classes can be pretty limiting.
what a cool informative video. i have to say that every time i see QUAIFE, my brain just always thinks about a bad smell. i can't help it ✌️🐝➕ edit: i forgot to mention the video of this car wrecking on the mountain still makes me cringe just thinking about it. hope that Will didn't get seriously hurt, and i hope he gets the Civic back on the road as soon as possible ✌️🐝➕
Larry, please sell one of those shots on Etsy. I have email alerts setup if you add something to your shop. I’ll buy one. I saw this car on the mountain in 2019 and I fell in love. Please…
stock arms. original shape and geometry. just show how good cars are these days. its nit just works by accident. there are good engineers making cars better and better
why is there a Canadian flag on his shirt is he from Canada, awesome make Canada proud man i know i am a proud Canadian knowing you are there or were there awesome
Damn i miss my fg2. I hit a cement gaurdrail at like 75 mph. The tire ripped off the the control arm and had half the axel still comnected to it. The tire went into the passenger side. If my side my legs would be done for. Or maybe dead. I only had two scratches. One on eafh hand. The fender was stuck into the wall. Im super lucky. The guy passed me in the middle of a corner cutting it. I hate cutting corners. If i did i probably wouldn't of crashed. Or i would be dead amd crashed on a different one. I never did that shit. Unless people got me to. About 4 month b4 me and a guy went like 4 miles or more. Hitting uo to 120 on straights amd like 50-85 around corners. He was in a ek 2 door. He got me tongo fast. He passed me and was cutting corners. I stayed with him the whole time. He hit a corner and almost hit a metal gaurd rail. I then stopped and was like f this. Im not trying to die or have him die. This is dumb, then about a mile up the raid a state patrol had him pulled over. Lucky again and maybe i sign idk. Why i should have just got an element. I didn't want that car for those reasons. Evem thougj i didn't want to be reckless like that anymore. But people woupd get me to. About a month b4 i crashed i got pulled over doing 106 in a 45. That was just me being dumb and having a bad day or even month or year. Damn i miss my fg2. It had 2 owners and only had 24k on it. Being a ten year car. I still have the car. The motor had 70k when i crashed. I had it less then 2 years. The car red and had 666 for the last 3 digits on the engine serial number. I want another si but maybe in time.
Honestly glad he chose the 9th gen coupe over a Type R anyways, the 9th gen coupe is one of if not the best looking civic ever made lol, and to see one all aero'd out is unreal.
I’m thinking about 20-30k because that engine build is ridiculous and it’s got a sequential so you already know that puts you close 20k not to mention all the fab work and fuel cell relocate
For the next 24hrs each print on larrychenprints.com/ comes with a Ole Orange Bang 240z Leen Customs pin!
Such a great car... And a humble dude behind the wheel.
So bad ass. Wherever Nads is he is probably watching this on repeat.
Nads put his nads on the screen
I bet Nad is on a 26 min long wc break... gettin paid by the hour is important! so he can mod his civic

One of my favorite Time Attacks Car glad to see Will back at it.
So glad to see him back on track, was there when he set the NJMP record. Everyone fell silent with astonishment.

Fascinating build, thanks for shooting it/the interview.
Excellent reveiw
So much OEM on this car, thats how it should be imo, not just a shell. Love the car.
NICE 👍 ASS job Brudda ✌. Larry, more Civic / Honda builds.. Please.. Thank 👍 you!
Twin car! I have a little track wep like this trying to prep for my first track day. This build is sickkkk Love the aggressive aero.
This thing has 600+ hp, cantilever 3-way coilovers, 315 slicks, a fully gutted and caged interior… Are you saying yours is anything like this?
Saw this baby yesterday in Canada and boi oh boi is it crazy 🔥🔥🔥
Such powerful interview...love the Honda brand and development...
i like how this type of civic looks like
As a Canadian he definitely sounds Canadian
What a humble dude, he has reinvented the wheel with this vehicle and still thinks he hasn't done anything impressive

great build, great guy. thank you for this :)
I remember this car....broke willow spring and tsukuba records for FF....im sure this broke more records at other tracks.....
Not just FF ... overall records lol
This Honda is insane!
Finally a recognition on this generation of civic si. 9th gen si ftw

That’s not normally the go to for real cars
@@Hughjanus720 I'm talking about racing cars, not street cars. The physics is the same.
Hey Larry, any idea if Will is planning to bring this chassis back to Tsukuba to try an improve upon their FWD record?
Love the way this guy properly pronounces works like "been" and "again"
Crazy az build one of the best time attack cars period, mad knowledge and philosophy mixed into building his cars, give misimoto a run for his money.
