    Aaron, thank you for creating the EZV site. I bought mine just after Christmas 2020. Siting in was easy. I shoot mine with no peep sight. I am right handed, shoot a bow right handed, but am left eye dominant. I could never see well through a peep site, so i shot pins with no peep. I use a kisser button and a nose button to keep a consistent anchor point. The EZV is better than pins for me, the open site picture helps me out tremendously. I feel that i can see my target much clearer. I got my first kill with the EZV today, 1 month into putting it on my bow. I heart shot a squirrel at 18 yards, using the tic marks as a pin site. Thanks again, i don’t see me going back to pins.

    Hey Aaron,
    Mate just blown away by what an awesome idea you've come up with and the fact that you as a CEO answered your phone when I called.
    We as a family will be buying one of these each for our Aussie Deer hunting trips.
    Can't wait to try it out 😊. Will be telling all our friends in the Australian bow hunting industry to contact you and start selling your product.
    Much better idea for us older guys (44) who have trouble with their pins blurring out on target and the accompanying target panic lol.
    Keep up the awesome work, can't wait to see if you come up with a toolless adjust setup soon.

    I have seen and watched a ton of videos on the EZV for a few seasons now. I was always intrigued. Then I stumbled across this one. First off, I appreciate "clever" people in general and this may be THE most "clever" thing I have seen that is archery related. The presentation and explanation is truly brilliant. Pins always annoyed me. I'm a short range 25-30 yards or so hunter and these days rely on just a single pin sight set to about 22-23 yards. I may still have to try this someday. It really was an awesome presentation.

    Good explination of why a specific speed insert may not be right for your setup. Explained to a guy the other day how I did a quick re-setup after changing my arrow weight. Zero your 20yd tic mark since all new inserts have the same 20yd tic mark.. go to 40yds and shoot the 40yd tic mark to see if you need to go up or down an insert or two. Within 4 or 5 shots you will typically know exactly which insert you need after your 20yd is zero'd.

    I just bought this last night for my first bow that will come in next week. Haven't shot a composite bow in my life. I shot a regular wooden bow when I was like 14 years old at a camp for 15 minutes but that's about it. Empty slate, I think I chose the right sight.

    This just made my Xmas list! I ran a new set up today and it went well but for fun I set up a water bottle at 30 and tried to hit the cap and found my pins cover 1/3 of the bottle at that distance. It will be interesting to use this for sure great common sense in this unit looking forward to slinging some carbon

    I bought this sight and struggled with it because I made using it too difficult! So, I wrote Aaron and he was gracious enough to respond with helpful advice. Basically, because I am so analytical I did not grasp what he was saying. Frankly, I was not doing as the Ranch Fairy suggests, behaving like an adult and taking responsibility for learning to use the sight and doing the work it takes to succeed. LOL … behavior that I expected of students that I teach at high school or university level biology. The fact Aaron honestly reached out to me meant that I had to do my part, which led to me successfully using the sight.

    Quick question, what if the animal isn’t perfectly perpendicular to you like those cut outs are? Is there a way to still know the distance if that circumstance isn’t perfect?

    Seems like an interesting product. Might give it a shot. This might sound harsh but I feel compelled to offer some unsolicited advice. I care about small businesses, the outdoor industry in general, and want to see them succeed. Therefore, pro tip, if you are going to film any sort of video marketing content, for the love of God, care about the quality of your presentation. Your presenter is out of focus for the entire 15 minutes! This subconsciously (and sometimes consciously) makes us, your potential customers, feel like your product must be second rate. It’s a huge turnoff, especially for those of us who are younger. Solid marketing is almost as important as the product itself, unfortunately. If you care about your product, and are passionate about it, then present it in a professional manner. This is NOT difficult to do these days, and requires little effort. A little manual camera work would have gone a long way. My advice: reshoot this video ASAP and put some time into polishing it up in postproduction before publishing. You will sell more products.

      I got one 2 weeks ago and at 20 to 30 I was pounding nails with it immediately. At 40 I had to play with a couple more inserts before I found the right one (i shoot a 600 grain arrow). It's super instictive after a few shots. That said it may not be for everyone, but it sure is for me. Never going back to a pin sight.

    Please re-film this video in focus... it is very hard to watch and is very hard on my eyes. It is great content and everyone needs to understand this. Also, do you have a 180 or 175 fps insert for a longbow/recurve? A smaller/lighter frame for the sight would be in order for the longbow/recurve model? Thanks Aaron.

    Im curios where you got your numbers. The vital zone on an elk averaged between 24-26 inches where a mule deer and white tail is 10-14 inches. That’s a 100% difference in size vs your claim of only 10%. I’m truly interested in the sight and wonder how that math holds up if I’m shooting a 550 grain arrow. Maybe a different design for each game species is in order?

    • @wopadobop
      @wopadobop Год назад +1

      Rib cage width. Not vital zone.
      it works.

    • @marcuse7322
      @marcuse7322 Год назад

      @@wopadobop if you know anatomy, you would know that the rib cage of every mammal protects the lungs and heart. Therefor the bigger the rib cage the larger volume of lungs. I bought the sight and will test it over the next few weeks before return deadline. Regardless, his numbers in vitals are grossly false.

    Does it still work if I want to shoot a 100 lb whitetail one week and a 1200 lb moose the next? You may be able to get a useable average size for most whitetails and muleys but I gotta think with a drastically bigger animal the math would no longer work out.

  • @ronswanson7422
    @ronswanson7422 3 года назад

    The only advantage to this sight it is supposedly not needing a rangefinder. Well if you bow hunt you probably already have a nice pin sight. This V sight costs' $150. Right now Cabelas has three different rangefinders for under $150. Then you also have the rangefinder for other hunting/shooting uses.
