What would you need to do to match this scope to a Sur-Loc Carbonic sight? How's mounting kit? Sur Loc still does not have lenses available for the their Carbonic Sights, no mounting ring to hold the lenses in. Sur-Loc went a totally different way on adapting scopes to their sights. Great Video Really love the features and flexibility of this scope.
Only thing I would like to see is a mini Ian charge port so it could be charged from a power cell instead of battery change so frequently other than that looks great
Curious how bright the fiber is. I live in WA and any sort of lights or electronics on your bow are illegal. Love my black gold b/c the fiber is so bright in low light but I’m always looking for something that could be better

What can you do if you're having a hard time seeing the pin and the target in focus . I've tried to use a clarifier and verifier but can't get it to work right. Maybe somebody could come up with a sight where you can adjust to focus. Or maybe you could have two lenses in the scope.
So without a lens I n the scope you should only be playing with verifiers. Clarifiers require a scope lens. I trying out the different verifiers, you also should play with different aperture sizes and the distance from the riser where your scope sits.
Was exactly what I was thinking I hate to pay another $300 for an axcel sight bar. I have a hogg it hunter dovetail I wanted to mount to. If you figure it out please share.
All I know is- my new Ultraview 2 IS NOT BRIGHT ENOUGH to use in the sunlight on the 3-d range. Tried it yesterday when it was even clouded over and had trouble seeing the blue fiber optic. So, guess I will reinstall my Shrewd with a light.
I am near sighted, meaning, i need glasses to see far. I usually take my glasses off to look at something close or to read. I am having a problem using my bow, in whuch with glasses, i can see the target or deer well, but with the same glasses, my sight is blurry. I cant take my glasses off. Ultra View looks like red dot sight. But still need peep sight to align. of all this new technology, instead used red dot sight and eliminate peep sight troubles.
I have the UV 2 target with the drilled lens, this 3 is way, I mean, way way better, it looks like it's made in Japan, the light is way advanced, the machined aluminum frame is high tech, this one is a winner, the 2 was good but it looked like it was 3D printed, especially the lens housing, it looked cheap, Shrewd had much better design. But this one should definitely make Shrewd worry. I ordered mine today, the 🎯 version. I see it out of stock for months and very hard to keep in stock. 5 weeks wait, that's what the site stated when I checked out.
If you have a single pin hogg scope on it it'll be threaded in with a10-32 rod and yes you can change your hogg sight to any scope. If you have a multi pin setup you can buy a piece that you can swap out and a rod to accept the 10-32 scope rod. Then it'll take this/ most any scope. Go to spott Hogg website look through their stuff if you need those pieces, get the exact name/ model# of what you need then maybe use it to search around for cheapest/ best option.
@@jimmywallhanger8402incase you actually need help and aren't trolling the barrel is the thing that the threaded screw like thing coming out of the scope threads onto. Then that sits inside the front(sight block) of the sight holding the scope onto the sight. The rod also is usually cut or threaded in some way that allows the sight to use the rod as part of the "windage" or side to side adjustment when turning whatever (knob/ lever) the sight is designed with to move it left and right. If your sight dosnt accept a rod some companies sell different blocks or rod adaptors etc. Check with your sight manufacturer.
Great spent 300 bucks last week for the one that doesn't even work outdoors. The light is either off or on max and still can't see it in sunlight. Then the pin setup doesn't work with a lens...anyone want a junky UV2 I just bought a cbe that works.
My brother had that same problem with the light he just contacted UV and they sent him a whole new setup! He’s now had that replacement for over a year with no problems
@@LancasterArcherySupply I don't think so. Even if you took the batteries out you'd still have the option of carrying them in your pocket and using them when the warden is a mile away. Besides, this video didn't address the brightness without the light off. It may not be better than fiber optics. In any case law states you cannot have any electronic device attached to the bow. That sounds like batteries or not.
I gotta draw a line and I am just done with so many expensive performance battery dependent gadgetry. Gimme fiber pins, a level, an IQ eye, and I have peace of mine reliable performance. Done.

Not misleading...Where'd you get the idea that what makes a scope a scope is magnification? Only A telescopic sight ALWAYS has magnification. Not misleading at all, you just don't have large enough "scope" of the subject. A scope with magnification is still a sight its just a telescopic "sight" anyway. So the words are technically irrelevant and interchangeable until you put other words there specifying the type of sight or weapon it's going on etc... which weapon it's on will change its usage capabilities further making which word is used irrelevant but then it's not just being called a "scope" so again irrelevant but in archery the sight and scope are two different parts that makeup your entire "sight system" (most weaponry is dependent on a sight system- more than 1 thing- which you're one of), and the two names are used to reference which part of the sight system-scope you look through, sights hold the scope on the bow- just saying a sight may or may not include a scope on it. Just saying scope and there's plenty of firearm scopes that are not telescopic too(have no magnification) and are still called scopes. Anything you look through with a reticle is a scope. Or sight, added magnification or not. You simply need more information other than "scope" or "sight" before you can say what it definitively is, but you don't need the info and words to identify and qualify to refer to it simply in a setting where people know what each other are talking about. And if you are in that setting that's when you'd say archery- guy says "I got a new sight" you ask " what scope with sight? Or just the sight?" rifle - " is there a sight on it?"other guy "yep" (could be a badass highly magnified telescopic sight) " other guy- " just iron sight system" or again gun- pistol - other guy "does it have a scope?" what is missing on the spcs is the weight
Pretty sure I just broke mine replacing the batteries. Some wire came off when I removed the battery housing and now it shuts off every time I shoot.

Just got my target kit in yesterday, has anyone mounted to a spott hogg dovetail? Can’t find any videos on it other than on the axcell sight.

I really like the look and features of the scope. But you have to buy a 300/400 dollar sight plus the $200 scope. It's pricey for a bow hunting setup.
you can get an axcel accutouch hd for $225.

Then remove the light, install up pin, and thread 20" of fiber. 3D tourney, depending on class, reinstall glass and light.

You look through glass with a scope, with a sight you do not. Magnification is a sub category of scopes.
