    The UV Slider is a multi-pin, adjustable compound bow sight offered by Ultraview. It features an updated UV3 XL scope, and a large scope adjustment wheel, which also houses the windage knob. The scope holds four pins - two of which are adjustable - for which there are separate sight-scale indicators, so every pin is an adjustable sight reference. The scope also features the UV light kit.

      That’s not a bad price at all. Have you priced the setup the previous way. $350ish for the Axcel Landslyde slider bar only and then $250 for the UV3XL and another $20ish for the scope rod. This is very reasonably priced for the quality you’re getting. You can always grab a Tru Glo if you want something cheaper. 😂

    I figured it was going to be expensive as hell, but at lease they included the scope with the sight, lol! I still wouldn't buy it, but I thought it would be like $600 for just the sight. Still not worth it either way to me. Ultraview is like the Apple of the archery industry...somewhat innovative, but you pay too much of a premium for that innovation.

    I like that it has horizontal multi pins.. hate the new vertical multi pins. My CBE engage 3 pin basically works similar, you can adjust the lock so it's super tight but can still move it with more force. The 3 pin indicators are nice. The dual sight tapes are also nice and I love that white insert. I can actually move all 3 pins on my CBE but those 3 indicators would be nice as well. I won't be spending a lot of money on this thing until the prices drop. They seem to have put a LOT of thought into this slider and would guess this is the best slider on the market now.

      “Out west” is no different than anywhere else. I’m sorry, but if you can’t hunt with a 3 pin and require 5, get better. You shouldn’t be shooting anything over 50 yards that’s skittish anyways. Too much of a chance for it to duck and your shot placement to be off.

    • @LancasterArcherySupply
      @LancasterArcherySupply  10 месяцев назад +1

    • @aaronroberts2705
      @aaronroberts2705 10 месяцев назад +2

      Yeah the sight tape. The pins don't move so 20, 30, 40 that gap in between the pins will always be on the sight tape. If your drop down to 60 on the bottom pin its not 40, 50, 60 it could be like 42, 53, 60 if that makes sense.

    I just don't get why you would even use a slider for hunting over a fixed pin.. hell I don't even use a range finder because I setup scent bombs at 20 and 40 yards so when the deer walks in and it's between the scent bombs, I already know what pin to use without all the hassle of extra movement, range finder batts dying etc..

    • @ron4546
      @ron4546 10 месяцев назад

      In ASA, you can shoot a slider in Men's Pins. You just can't move it once the competition starts, and if you're shooting in a 40-yard class, you can have magnification.

      @@ron4546wait, really? I was under the impression that to shoot pins it had to be a fixed sight, and that no magnification was allowed? • @romanthompson1503
    @romanthompson1503 10 месяцев назад

    I’m slightly confused🤔 since every bow is shooting differently, even though the 30yrd pin is fixed and you want a 20,30,40yrd set up. When you take that scope and set it down on the tape like you did and “found” one that matched that. How can that mean the 20 and 40 are on? Just cuz you found a matching tape doesn’t mean that’s gonna match what the bow is actually shooting? Or am I suppose to find my actually 20,40yrd distance on a blank tape first? At that point why not just transfer the tape over to match🤔 or am I missing something in the video

    • @LancasterArcherySupply
      @LancasterArcherySupply  10 месяцев назад +3

      We didn't use the scope to "find" the sight tape. We shot it and used the sight tape scale to "find" the right tape. In choosing your sight tape, you go out and shoot to get a 20 mark and a 60 mark using the center, fixed pin and the sight scale. Once you have your marks, you match them to one of the sight tapes. Based on your marks, that tape is calibrated to your bow's speed. So...in this case....we put the fixed pin on 30 and then adjusted the top to 20 and the bottom to 40. The sight tape is what was accurate. We moved the pins to match it.
