I'm teaching my 11 yr old to dj and found Sucker MC the best record to train him on I also show him the clock method and catching the 1
I would like to know what kind of records they are using, is it a special record for DJ's?
and how do DJ's use them combined with music records?

Yes, They are using Serato software, its integrated into the mixer and uses a digital signal to each turntable platter. You must use serato vinyl records to complete the signal to each turntable needle
To use w/ regular music vinyl, you must remove the serato vinyl, place your record on platter, and change the serato signal to phono

Lol pretty much that's true. What existed was the actual mixing between 2 songs. 2 songs playing along topping one another, even if it was the same track being played twice. Creating those echo effects & so on & so on, not much of these cuts that are called "lessons."
