  • Patterns. That's what "beat juggling" is. Patterns within other patterns. Patterns that influence different patterns. Patterns disguised by more patterns. Finding patterns is at the heart of "beat juggling".

    Rob... I never really understood... Why you were so... Impressed... By my (what I would consider) remedial skill. After watching this though, I think I get it. And again, that's not to take away anything from the gentleman that you're teaching in the video... it's just to say that I was not aware of what would have been so impressive about what I was doing at the time. But it would seem that I was doing a lot more than I was aware of at that time.
    Again, much respect to all, and as always...

      @@23logaritam there should be some harmonious coherency when you juggle...I hardly hear that..infact it is anoying as hell and only a few master it.

    • @23logaritam
      @23logaritam 4 года назад +2

      of course that juggling in pocket is crucial concept , but even when juggle is perfect in terms of keeping the right tempo - it is not perfect , because humans cant be precise in 0.001 percent ,even the best drummers will drift away from the mathematical grid without metronome ,
      try keeping same tempo on drum kit only your leg kick drum - i dont think you will ever succeed in being precise enough to not drift away from grid . we talk about fractions of a second .
      how long one second is ?
      and yes , thats the main problem of most djs , keeping the right tempo and coming back to its divisions in a right way
