man this is the best tutorial for amd user.. i try different method but never worked.. now i found this video and i can play dx11 game without stuttering
Have you been playing without stuttering in Fortnite on dx11 or in performance mode?
Thansk so much u turned my gpu into a nasa gpu. Before it said that my average system latency was 6-7ms. Now it says it is -1ms. What a big difference! : D
You should add bios update and enabling smart access memory too. Pretty big
Thank you so much, bro
this is interesting way to instal the adrenaline driver, but isn't this same as selecting minimal driver option when installing? and what does it debloat exactly?
You should add bios update and enabling smart access memory too, that was pretty big.
I needed this video. I just upgraded my GPU from a GTX 1060 6 GB to RX6750XT. Well, I upgraded everything except my motherboard. Question I am having issues with my resolution changing by it's self. Should I DDU the drivers and reinstall them like you did in the beginning? I am not tech-savvy, but I know how to build PCs. I am definitely subscribing to you just for this video. Thank you. I have a 1080p-144hz monitor. I have a HDMI I tried putting a DP on it, but it was stuck at 60hz IDK why. Sorry, this comment was so long.
Can I get that 1060 for my i7-4790T I’ll trade it for a gt 1030
@@chin4059 I've sold that a while back
thank you
Hey man, i know you gotta go over everything quick but could you explain what this stuff is doing next time? Im hesitant to change stuff when i have no idea what it does. Does everything in this apply to a 7900xt?
Google is your friend
@@maxkruppa3716 meh. Don't really care to screw around with this stuff. Already doing max settings and max rt.
dont do this for cards except 6000 series.
@@TheRedOGRE Tip: Don't fuck around with temps and wattage other than turning off ULPS, which is basically just your graphics card forcing itself into sleep mode when it's not loaded to its maximum capacity.
Most importantly, NEVER leave your case's side panel open. If your temps (you should only be careful past 75%) then you should figure out ways to stress the pc less instead of making it run at full capacity nonstop, as this will make your components breaka lot sooner than expected.
@@dwightcronenweth7901 thanks for the late reply. My temps are good and I haven't fucked around with any settings I'm not familiar with. Cpu is 72 under load and GPU is around 70.
Great video, but I think I got into a problem that was just rage quitting moments all the time after I followed and did everything you said in the video, here is the most rage quitting moment: Somehow when I try fortnite, and things get fast, the whole pc freezes for like 10 seconds at the most and 1 at the least. Now trying to reinstall the normal drivers, so i hope it works and helps.
Still great video but i don't understand my problem...
dont have AMD GPU currently but im getting one so :)
theres no way that amd cant fix this issues with dx11 for so many years. the main problem is in microsoft. microsoft made the directx api mainly for nvidia cards this apis have a set number of function for comunicating with the gpu and when they made the directx they coded it primaly for nvidia graphic cards
7000 series has the same av1 encoder
do we have to re do this enitre process when updating to a new version?
thanks for the video! but i don't have display window in the control panel unfortunately
any idea how to fix it?
yo bro.. do you know some software like nvidia profile inspector but for amd? because i cant find nothing
amd adrenaline software
nope, they dont have it, they hadit back in the day but not anymore, I think its locked or non existent, or only not visible on really old amd gpus
16:00 i mean yea it can work but for a gpu anything below 75 C its not anything to worry about.
This. Op is worrying too much about temps, and leaving the side panel off is a terrible idea. Dust will store way more frequently and it may hurt hardware
Under the pci bridge I don’t have the option anywhere for the Microsoft basic display adapter
Could be under display adapters instead, either way, it is unnecessary to change, you'll get no performance difference with that tweak, since it's not in use once you have the Radeon software installed.
Well encoding it depends, if ur running H.265 ur fine if u have 7000 series use AV1 anyways same with RTX 40 series
i have a amd gpu and when i play fornite on performance mode i how low fpu usage and fps drops, will try this tutorial
did it helo
Epic games runs DX11 different from other games on performance mode it does and AMD doesn’t like it hence why u get more fps on DX 12 most DX 11 games don’t run it like Fortnite does so it’s fine on A,D cards
Have you been playing without stuttering in Fortnite on dx11 or in performance mode?
Amd so bad in older game who use dx 11 stutering etc, but smooth in dx 12.. frustating
The part he said "dont move this power slider if you dont have a goo PSU" was bad enough.... then he went and said... "turn off zero rpm, its garbage.." in the moment io realised this guy is completely clueless hahaha
well i got -20 fps after disabling those optmizations while looking to megacity, 120 to 100-90 fps on my rx6600, idk performance mode is ass man, ur system gets SO sub-utilized
i get 220 stable on dx12 but the input lag is ass so i do better on performance mode
@@viera2994 did u fix this?
Yes@@prolixia6610
Changed from nvidia to Radeon and I get 15fps and stutters like crazy! Computer running slow as heck and I still can’t find no damn answer!!!
Go back to Nvidia (serious)
I recently switched from Nvidia to AMD. DX12/Vulkan games runs very good but DX11 is terrible in 80% of the games wtf AMD. I don't know why they can't fix that or just let people to disable DXNavi from adrenaline software
6:46 I don't have that Windows generic driver.
i dont see the pci bridges
yo i dont have the microsoft basic display adapter can anyone help
same
i still get stutters in performance mode fortnite, i have modded driverswhich make it better but still
use directx12
@@pop93821 i set my min gpu freq 100mhz below max and i have maybe 4 stutters in a whole 20 min match so it's solved
@@deleteduser36b2cb28 Don't do that. You have to find ways for your pc not to need being forced like this if you want it to last. Turn off ULPS, get 24.5.1 drivers and use DDU to uninstall your current ones if you don't want errors, turn off adrenaline overlay. Use external software to change cache settings from AMD optimized to On, look for MPO fixes, if your cpu is intel make sure DTT is on in bios, amp up your ram's voltage 0,01v and no more. Turn on freesync
@@dwightcronenweth7901 what's wrong with modded drivers they are official
Work on integredet gpu
it literally says amd gpu's. no, no it doesn't work for that
amd gpus can be only like this: from 500fps to 30fps and dont forget about driver crashes + keep close a tech repair service phone # (my 6700xt saphire and giga eagle, both chilling in a repair services,1st one is on a 2nd trip...gl with urs)
i've had zero issues lol i had more driver crashes with my 20 series nvidia gpu
thats a you issue, been using amd for 5 years and only had a few crashes due to overclocking. Incredibly stable FPS. 5700 and 6800xt working flawlessly mate
dont waste your time if you have amd gpu just play on dx12 it is what it is
no. for competitive its bad
@@Bwilliams1964 not really, sometimes AMD drivers can get MUCH better fps withuot modded drivers, dx12 doubled my fps on my RDNA1 GPU and lowered my input delay massive, however when i went to RDNA2 (6800xt) performance mode was better , every GPU is different so its best to test
@@Bwilliams1964well depends on what u mean by competitive
this seems useless😂
no. when youre on amd and trying to play comp fortnite for example ill take anything i can get regarding fixing my stuttering
@@Bwilliams1964that could be a for a number of other reasons
