    Very well made video you can tell you enjoy min maxing the settings. Only confusing part is you mention when using freesync to cap your fps to 3-4 below max monitor Hz but a bit later in your RTSS settings you don't mention that.

My bad! 🙈 I actually don't use FreeSync myself, since I cap my FPS at 250. But I appreciate you catching that, and I'll be more careful next time! Have you performed a clean driver installation with DDU? Is your RAM running at its full speed with XMP profile? Have you removed shader cache? Try disabling all features in the graphics tab of the Adrenaline software. If you've done all of this, the game should run without stutters, unless you played only on Olympus, which is currently bugged for many players and may cause stutters.

    • @MuhammadAhmad-sw1tr
      @MuhammadAhmad-sw1tr Год назад

      @@MuhammadAhmad-sw1tr You shouldn't be having any problems in Valorant as it's a well-optimized game, and Apex Legends should also run smoothly after landing with this setup. I highly recommend uninstalling your current drivers with DDU because it's crucial. If you use the normal Windows uninstall method, it will leave some files in the system that may interfere with new graphics drivers. When switching from NVIDIA to AMD or vice versa, it's essential to use DDU. This might be the solution to your problem. Try it. www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

    I have a question. I play rocket league and for some reason I do get jagged lines/edges and feels as if my game isn’t as smooth. I have decent specs - 5600x, 6650xt, 32gb ram which is I think 3200 and my monitor is also 1080p. Is this due to having maybe super resolution enabled or image sharping?

    • @FlowGamingZone
      @FlowGamingZone  Год назад

      Hi there! Image sharpening is definitely not the cause of the issue you're experiencing. As for the jagged lines and game not feeling smooth, it's possible that AMD Super Resolution could be causing the problem. Since you're already playing at 1080p, which is your monitor's native resolution, you don't need to use Super Resolution. I would recommend disabling it, as it could be the source of the issue. Super Resolution should only be used when you need to upscale to a higher resolution than your monitor's native resolution.

    • @flintfrommother3gaming
      @flintfrommother3gaming Год назад

      @@FlowGamingZone Super Resolution is an anti-aliasing solution. A very great one at that too. It shouldn't be disabled because of jagged edges because it's not the reason.

    • @FlowGamingZone
      @FlowGamingZone  Год назад +1

      @@flintfrommother3gaming I would have to disagree. Radeon Super Resolution (RSR) is not an anti-aliasing solution. It is a feature that allows the GPU to render games at a higher resolution than the native resolution of the display and then downscale it to the native resolution of the display. The purpose of RSR is to improve image quality and provide a better gaming experience by enhancing details and reducing jagged edges. However, it can also cause performance issues and compatibility problems with certain games. Enabling Super Resolution can cause jagged edges if the game is not optimized for the higher resolution or if the GPU is not powerful enough to handle the increased workload.

    Good video but... 3.20 Fast fps shooters are based on proper thermal management hence you're wrong about that as thermals are the main and often the only reason for frame drops, stutters and even crashes. So thermals are one of the most important things to look into when optimising your PC for the fastest responsiveness and lowest input lag.

    Desactivar la nitidez de imagen no es necesario pues no afecta casi nada a las gráficas AMD y tenerla activa al nivel 100% es la mejor opción. Se ve mejor todo incluyendo los enemigos más detallados. Y el impacto en el rendimiento es del 0.01% o mejor dicho es prácticamente inexistente. Así que desactivar esa función no es necesario. Uso GPUs amd toda la vida y e jugado prácticamente todos los juegos que salen al mercado todos los años y he comprobado que desactivar la nitidez de imagen es inútil pues no hay ni 1 solos FPS de diferencia entre tenerla activa al 100% de nitidez o tenerla desactivada la función. Y tenerla activa es lo mejor porque el juego se ve con una imagen limpia y super detallada

    Hey FLowZone. Would you recommend to put upscaling off and antialiasing off in Warzone 2 and then put on AMD fsr on and antialiasing on in Adrenaline? Maybe just keep upscaling from warzone and just put antialiasing on adrenaline with antialiasing off in warzone 2? Looking forward to your answer.

    • @FlowGamingZone
      @FlowGamingZone  Год назад +1

      In general, it's recommended to experiment with different graphics settings in each game to find what works best for you. However, in the case of Warzone 2 and AMD FSR, it's best to keep the upscaling off in Warzone and turn on AMD FSR in Adrenaline, as FSR is designed to provide a similar visual quality to native resolution while improving performance. As for antialiasing, it's up to personal preference and the game's performance impact. You can try enabling antialiasing in Adrenaline and disabling it in Warzone, or vice versa, to see which gives you the best balance of visual quality and performance.

    • @FlowGamingZone
      @FlowGamingZone  Год назад

      Using a DisplayPort (DP) connection instead of HDMI should not cause any issues. Both HDMI and DP are widely used display interfaces and are generally compatible with modern monitors and graphics cards. However, using a DP connection can offer advantages such as higher refresh rates, higher resolutions, and support for adaptive sync technologies like AMD FreeSync. DP is known for its robustness in transmitting video and audio signals over longer distances. As long as your monitor has a DP input and your graphics card has a DP output, you can connect them using a DP cable without any problems. Just ensure that both devices have compatible ports, and you should be good to go.

      try capping your fps on 260 or 250 its like 10 to 20 fps higher compared to your monitor's refresh rate it will cause less input lag and less stutter 🤠

    Hi, i got 360hz with G-Sync (asus qn259) and got RX 6950 XT but i think my monitor is only for nvidia settings, should i allow the adaptive sync compatible for gsync ? I got this actived, radeon anti-lag and got unlimited FPS on Apex legend (max 300 fps) im below the refresh rate

    • @FlowGamingZone
      @FlowGamingZone  Год назад

      Hi! Your ASUS monitor may be G-Sync compatible, but AMD graphics cards like your RX 6950 XT use a technology called FreeSync. The good news is that many G-Sync monitors also support FreeSync, so you should check if your specific model does. If it is FreeSync compatible, you can enable FreeSync in your AMD Radeon settings for smoother gameplay. Regarding your FPS, if you're consistently hitting below the refresh rate of your monitor, you're in a good spot and shouldn't experience any tearing or stuttering. Just make sure VSync is turned off in your game settings to avoid any potential input lag.

      Yes, that is correct. The first five settings in the advanced tab of Radeon Adrenalin settings are specifically for DirectX 9 games and do not affect DX12 or Vulkan applications. However, the remaining settings in the advanced tab can still impact the performance and visual quality of DX12 and Vulkan apps.

    What are the best drivers for the rx 5700xt I only play csgo and valorant

    • @FlowGamingZone
      @FlowGamingZone  Год назад +1

      For the RX 5700 XT, the latest drivers are usually the best ones to use as they are optimized for the newest games and often contain bug fixes and performance improvements. However, some users have reported issues with the latest drivers, so you may want to check user reviews before downloading them. As for CSGO and Valorant, both games are not very demanding, so you shouldn't have any issues with the latest drivers.

    Interesting. i just apply an undervolt to about 1140mv, set my freq to 2650, and set voltage to max. I stay locked to my monitors refresh of 165 @1440. No stutters or tearing. I am very aware of the effect that RGB software can have on Radeon GPU's however. I only use signal to control mine because of this. But I have only been tinkering with ATI/AMD GPU's since my rage 128.

      Undervolting can be beneficial, but it requires knowledge, monitoring, and testing. If your GPU is stable with no issues and stays cool, then it's a job well done. 👍

      @@FlowGamingZone I had noticed way back with the 1st gen Polaris GPU's how well AMD card react to undervolting. I found that if you run the undervolt tool included in the AMD software, and then set it to plus 10mv of the number it gives you. Example, software says 1150 mv, then I set it to 1160 mv. Undervolting and setting a proper fan curve are the two of the most beneficial settings I have found.

    • @FlowGamingZone
      @FlowGamingZone  Год назад

      The problem could be caused by a variety of factors, such as outdated drivers, overheating, or hardware issue. First thing You should try:
      - Consider using DDU to uninstall the current AMD drivers. After that, download the latest drivers from the AMD website and install them.
      - Check your GPU temperature. Overheating can cause GPU down throttling and it can lead to system crash. Use a program like HWiNFO64 to monitor your GPU temperature while gaming.
      - Check your power supply. Insufficient power supply can cause the GPU to fail. Make sure that your power supply is adequate for your system and that all the cables are properly connected.

    I thought AMD Freesync and Nvidia gysync introduced input delay? Pretty sure that is the case. Above 200fps there isn't any screen tearing anyway.

    • @Prototype60
      @Prototype60 Год назад

      I'm not sure about the delay but there IS screen tearing even above 240 fps on a 240 hz monitor. The severity depends on the game engine though. For example in csgo I don't see any tearing while in Halo Infinite it is really distracting.

    Does clearing the shader cash on the adrenaline software clear the cash on all games or should you also clear the shader cash on the individual game?

    • @FlowGamingZone
      @FlowGamingZone  Год назад

      When you clear the shader cache through the AMD Radeon Adrenalin software, it typically clears the cache for all the games and applications that use the AMD GPU. However, some games also have their own shader cache systems, and clearing the cache through the AMD software might not affect these game-specific caches.
      If you suspect that a particular game's shader cache is causing issues, it may be a good idea to clear the game's shader cache separately. This option can usually be found in the game's settings or configuration files. It's also possible that there's a game-specific tool or launcher option to clear the shader cache. It some cases you have to delete specific folder in game directory but you would have to google that specific game.

    What is better. Nvidia or AMD in terms of input lag? I mean for example with fps capped at 60fps using rtss, in game cap, driver fps cap, or radeon chill. With all additional features off. Wich card would have lower input lag?
    I couldnt find 100% reliable answer nowhere.🤷

    • @FlowGamingZone

      The debate between Nvidia and AMD regarding input lag is a popular discussion among tech enthusiasts and experts. Both brands have made commendable strides in addressing this concern, and for many users, the distinction might be barely noticeable. However, with a greater number of games incorporating Nvidia Reflex into their engines, Nvidia does seem to have a slight edge in this aspect. So, leaning towards Nvidia might be fair.

    Hey at First thank you very much For the Guide! Its very Hard to find a good amd Guide. I got a question to the Input lag and amd freesync : i Play on a 240 hrz monitor, i got on cs go around 320 fps and 60 % gpu usage uncapped, what would u advise for that? When i play eft i got around 100 fps With 70-80% gpu usage and its capped by the game with 144 fps. Can u give me a good advise for These 2 Games?

    • @FlowGamingZone
      @FlowGamingZone  Год назад

      I'm glad you found the guide helpful! CS:GO is a game where higher FPS can lead to lower input latency, even if it exceeds your monitor's refresh rate. Given that you're getting around 320 FPS, you might not want to cap it. You didnt say what is your GPU temperature but GPU usage is in proper values. For EFT: since your FPS fluctuates around 100 and is below your monitor's 240Hz refresh rate, enabling Freesync will be beneficial to smoothen out any potential screen tearing and enable AMD Anti-Lag. This can help in reducing input latency.

    On Nvidia cards, Hardware acceleration on chrome based browsers stutters a lot. Scrolling, youtube videos, etc . Is it the same with AMD cards also? Can anyone with amd cards confirm this? I recently bought RTX 3060, is this issue happening only on low end cards?
    Also, in NFS underground a lot of shimmering and aliasing issues happening using 3060, I tried all the combinations in Nvidia control panel. I remember these issues were not present in 13 year old Dell inspiron laptop which had ATI mobility Radeon HD 5650 with 1 GB vram.
    Why rtx 3060 is unable to fix the aliasing issue in nfs underground? What am I missing?

    • @FlowGamingZone
      @FlowGamingZone  Год назад

      Unfortunately, I'm not an expert in NVIDIA drivers, but I suggest starting with the simplest solution: using DDU to uninstall and reinstall the latest drivers, followed by updating your motherboard chipset and cleaning your Windows, doing all updates, reseting shader cache. If these steps don't help, you may need to consider reinstalling Windows. This is not normal for 3060. It all should run well.

    • @FlowGamingZone

      It can be challenging to determine the exact cause of the FPS drop, as there could be various factors involved. It might be due to chipset drivers, a game update affecting performance, incorrect RAM speed settings, or something else entirely. To troubleshoot the issue, consider checking and updating your chipset drivers, rolling back to a previous game version if possible, and verifying your RAM speed settings in the BIOS. Keep in mind that there may be multiple factors at play, so investigating each potential cause is crucial. Additionally, I've just uploaded a video demonstrating how to check if your RAM is running at the correct speed, which might help you pinpoint the issue.

    i have a 1440p monitor is enabling radeon super resolution going to help me get more fps?

    • @FlowGamingZone
      @FlowGamingZone  Год назад

      Yes, enabling Radeon Super Resolution (RSR) can potentially help you achieve higher FPS in your games. RSR is a feature that renders the game at a lower resolution and then upscales it to match your monitor's native resolution. This reduces the workload on your GPU, which can lead to higher frame rates. However, it's important to note that the use of RSR may cause a decrease in image quality since the game is being rendered at a lower resolution. The degree of quality loss can vary depending on the game and the extent of the resolution reduction. If you're struggling with achieving satisfactory frame rates at your monitor's native 1440p resolution and you're willing to sacrifice some image quality for better performance, RSR could be a viable option. On the other hand, if your system is already running games smoothly at 1440p, maintaining RSR off for optimal image quality might be your best choice.
