    Why would you wait until after the merger to discover what the 'culture' is, Cultural due diligence prior to the acquisition is key? Acquiring a company that is not suitable culturally and hence difficult to align could be costly in more ways than one?

    This was excellent advice - we studied this in the SHRM certification - it was nice to hear a summary of it
