Fun Fact: Mega Man 7 was developed in only 3 months and in the Mega Man & Mega Man X Official Complete Works book. One of the devs responded that if they were given at least 1 more month, they could have really polished the game.
I wonder if what we got as Mega Man 7 was going to be Mega Man X at one point. The whole robo police, xx & xy and other things. Note that the beta "white city" in Mega Man X looks a LOT like the intro stage for Mega Man 7 too. I wonder how many parts from the previous version of Mega Man X was used for Mega Man 7. Rockman Corner and on youtube they DID find a unused maverick boss for Mega Man X a actual picture of him in game. Plus a different map/boss select too. Some of the stuff in Mega Man 7 could be considered X like too.
One of my favorite games from the Megaman Classic series, in terms of music. Well, my favorite games on the SNES include Mario World, TMNTIV, Super Metroid, Kirby Dream Land 3, Megaman X Trilogy and Zelda III.

Of course, it’s sad that at one time players reacted very poorly to this game, like “Hey, what kind of sucks is this, Megaman X is cool and this is some kind of pathetic fake, ugh”, that in the end, after that, Megaman X3 suffered terrible sales. Well, in Europe it wasn’t any better either, because the game was called Megaman 7, and Megaman 6 was not released because the NES had already completely left for the video game market in 1995. It’s clear that in Europe, no one cares about these SNES, NES and Game Boy, because the majority mainly loved the Sega Master System, Mega Drive and Amiga. But still, for the European Megaman community it was really stupid.
The hardest Wily's capsule in the series could be fought in Mega Man 7! Megaman(in a monotone, robotic voice): I am more than a robot! DIE WILY! Brentafloss mocked Megaman 7, too. I liked that game as a kid, though.
This newer upload looks much better in video quality than the years old one that I would play off and on through out the long, long number of years. Thanks World of Longplay for bringing this timeless piece to the world . Thank you And , I just love the soundtrack to this video game !!!!! Unique, pleasant and brilliant . Mega Man X was such a great evolution to the series that 7 looked stale in comparison.
