Rory Gallagher: Amazing Grace, Walking Blues, Blue Moon of Kentucky
• Rory Gallagher: Amazin...
One of the last great concerts of Rory Gallagher in 1994. Here 3 truly outstanding acoustic songs, performed live at Montreux, accompanied by Harp player Mark Feltham and Béla Fleck on the Banjo. Doesn't get any better than this. Stomp your feet and enjoy! - Видеоклипы
There's a great story behind this. Bela Fleck was pulled onto stage at the last minute at the Montreux Jazz festival in 1994.-he had no idea who Rory was. This is the first time these two musicians had ever played together. So fabulous that they were able to do this so flawlessly. Mark Feltham on harmonica was with Rory from 1984 until Rory's passing in 1995. Lots of respect here.
Rory was the best musician ever. So generous to always step back and allow other musos to shine. Still so very missed all these years later. Just the most unique talent.
Love Rory !! Long may he sit at the head of the guitar God's table !!
Big Fan of Rory......nobody could match him live !!
No one better live than Rory!!!☘
Rory was an incredible guitar player. Check out a live version of the song “Shadow Play”. About as heavy as Rory got
There is so much great music to be heard from Rory, who was one of the greatest guitar players there was, even Hendrix thought he was the best! As good as he was here there are so much better songs to be heard! Rory was always at his best at live gigs it is where he out shone everyone else such energy and talant. Sadly missed.
Rory's Bad Penny is an absolute banger.
He was an uncompromising artist. He would never write simple radio friendly tunes, no matter how much they wanted him to for $.
Great integrity.
Francis Rossi and Mick Parrfitt tried to get Rory to Release Edged in Blue as a single we'll even produce it for you it'll be a huge hit for you and Rory replied in his Irish brogue Now what would I be wanting one of them for.
Love Rory you should try Shadow Play live and Bullfrog Blues and Messing with the Kid ...btw love your reactions
Yeah! it's called a slide! Do Rory's spy Thriller " Continental-Ops.!"
Or a bottleneck..
Great
First time os seen Rory at this point in his life. He really looks bloated and unwell.
finger picks
Dire Straits:,telegraph road live at alchemy… you won’t regret it
Its good but Rory has way better blues/acoustic songs try I Wonder Who, Messin With The Kid, Bullfrog Blues and Too Much Alcohol.
Agreed regarding Rory's solo talent, but this is a great example of why Rory was such a amazing musician. He could hold his own with any other musician and was confident enough of his own abilities that he was happy to allow the other musicians to shine as well. For amazing Rory acoustic performances, pretty much any of the numbers from the 1977 RTE show Me and My Music are fabulous.
Agreed. And the live version of Shadow Play is awesome.
@@paul00390 I just posted that same sentiment
@@paul00390 its a great storming performance, but it really doesn't do justice to his vocals or his playing. I'd recommend "Do You Read Me?" from the Rock Goes to College performance. His guitar skills on that one are absolutely mindbending.
Fuel to the fire always gets extra volume in my house
Look at the beautiful sample of Russian rock: "Кипелов я свободен / Kypelov - I'm free"
