There’s actually a lot to that. Judges who haven’t eaten lunch give people harsher sentencing. That study has been repeated a few times I believe. You ever snap on someone because you were frustrated? We can behave completely differently depending on how we feel. Now imagine you’re getting a prison sentence and a judge is feeling cranky because he hasn’t had his lunch yet...

I think its also that mistakes in car's can cost lives. Sure, if someone leans onto you in the elevator its not a big deal, no harm no foul. But, if someone wasn't paying attention and leans into you even a little while driving, you could end up losing your life.
That being said, Luois CK is hilarious, and I agree people tend to road rage wayyy to quickly.

I've been listening to the most brutal, mean humor for years. I listened to this special when it came out, but I forgot it, so it was great when I re-listened to it. There's a thing where people on the internet say "I spit water/coffee/etc all over my keyboard" and "I snorted water/coffee/etc out of my nose", everyone knows about it, everyone knows it's bullshit exaggeration.
Welp. This is no exaggeration. I just was taking a shot of Crown Royal (it was on sale. it's ok. I bought a half gallon of it, I wished I'd spent the money on Jameson. Still 50 bucks), and I blew the contents of the shotglass all over my keyboard and the piece of furniture I use to put my legs up on. A good amount did indeed travel through my nasal passages. The line that got me:
"You tested my reflexes and it worked out fine so now I HOPE YOUR KIDS GROW UP MOTHERLESS"
    Damn it.

Walter Kovacs Very true. Especially when you have a kid in the vehicle. One time a guy cut me off and was driving like an idiot when I had my daughter with me and it immediately infuriated me. We ended up right beside each other so naturally I roll my window down and proceed to threaten him and yell obscenities at him. He wasn't paying close enough attention to realize the lane he was in was coming to a dead stop and had to lock his brakes up to avoid slamming into the car ahead of him. The large garbage truck behind him had to do the same. Basically almost caused a pile up while the lane I was in was smooth sailing. Felt like I came out victorious in that battle. I saw the fear in his eyes as he realized he fucked with the wrong angry parent with a kid on board lol

It took me years to work how to do it. I was in my late 30s when I realised you need to consciously enter into a different mindset when stepping into the driver's seat. You need to force yourself to become someone who doesn't care if other drivers are bad drivers. At least, that's the best way I can explain it. But I went all the way from spitting venom to very laid back.
