Currently have a 5mph TSR from the bridge to the section signal because the junction points are life expired. They're being replaced during the winter maintenance period this year
Chauffeur très agité, qui attend de trop la première charge après le départ, met trop à droite (normal pour un gaucher), ne fait pas son talon des deux côtés, ne regarde pas sa fumée. "Camelot" est une bonne fille.
Clearly you dont know what your talking about. Life on the footplate is often rushed and chaotic my friend, very rarely can you relax and take it easy. If you think this is crazy, try firing or driving on a mainline run bouncing about at 80mph.
@@mcbenman1793 Unlikely that he would have been, steam is genuinely restricted to 75mph unless on specials like Bittern at 90 or Tornado at 100 which are rare.
@@samhope6310 As ex BR Fireman i certainly would not want to work with this footplate crew , ie the fireman continualy adjusting the firedoors , turning on and off the injectors to often and opening and closing the dampers .! i would had thought the older Fireman could tell him what to do and when to do it !!!
My God what a beautiful thing, so powerful so alive. those men are keeping the great machine breathing and alive and racing down the tracks.
Riddles certainly sorted out the cab layout on the last locomotive designs. Bright and cheerful.
Why is there always a prolonged steady start from Horsted Keyenes?
