I remember the day I baught my first pilatus. Uh, such a beautiful aircraft. Then I woke up!
I didn't have to even finish reading your sentence to know you didn't own a Pilatus. "BaUgHt"
@@ErtanxEstavez maybe he does, there's a camper with similar name.
Me To San Diego Montgomery field
I had a similar dream, I was tossin up between the PC12 or 24. I just decided both....🤣
@@ErtanxEstavez LMFAO i laughed so hard at your comment, amazing comment bro 💀
I have always loved Pilatus everything from PC-6 to PC-24
I owned a 59 Champ at one time. Great little plane and it was within my budget. Doesnt matter what you fly. Just have fun.
What a beautiful plane!!!!!! I'm a private pilot and I would do anything to get a ride in one. Sitting right seat would be a dream. Someday!!!!
Nice video Carolee and Ed. What a dream to volunteer and fly veterans and enjoy the time with each other. Let me know if you are ever in Utah as I would love to meet you and see your pc12...as you said " i have got room for everybody." :)
Carolee Smith, young and beautiful lady. Top class indeed.!!!. Lucky husband.!
I really want to learn to fly and get one these Pilatus PC 12.
Did you ever learn
Would trim up appearance to relocate the pod on starboard wingtip.
Newer versions have blended winglets for improved performance.
Good overview!
One of these flies over my house nearly everyday into VNY and I wondered for years what this big single-engine plane was? The Flightradar app helped me finally figure it out and I was aghast at the cost of such a plane. Now I have another question: what does Ed Smith do for a living and is there room for another guy?
Beautiful aircraft
Every TP owner ever "my plane is better than a jet" :-)
...until you're slogging along at FL300 in IMC with the intertial separator on. Great plane, and he's right - for longer missions a jet is better.
Interested in joining VAC. Curious how to get involved.
This was 7 years ago, I wonder if the couple still owns the PC-12 and what type of career/ investments can afford them a turbo prop of this quality.
Impressive.
First the deer now the birds are under threat.
can i take a ride with you all or how can i experice a ride in a PC -12 ?
One flies out of KOSU every day. I really wish I could afford one.
It’s either the pc-12 or the piaggio avanti
I don't own a PC-12. However, when I start up X-Plane 11 I pretend that I do.
Is the Pilatus fitted with a washroom?.
Can be if specified.
I would go for pc 24 or Embraer phenom 300
I owned a A380, but I had to get rid of it because it was a bit too big. And then I woke up
lol
ถามรัฐบาลสวิตเซอร์แลนด์สิพอมีเงินดอกเบี้ยต่ำๆผ่อนยาวๆให้เขากู้พอได้ผ่านช่วงฤดูหนาวไปนิ
This pilot it 1337
Didn't this guy crash due to flying in over icing conditions a couple of years ago?
I wonder if this guy is Complete Walkaround's target audience....
Well,..... I'll just stick with my little Stinson. Not as luxurious but sure costs a lot less to operate. Question, how do pilots deal with their pets pooping and peeing on trip flights ?
I fly with a few owner/pilots since leaving the airlines before covid19 and the one family has litter box with grass in it just in case. They shut it in the head and he yelps when it's done and surprisingly the kids clean up the mess after even though they have a family aide. The other family has a PC12 and we can land just about anywhere. So it's not a big deal even if it's not paved.
Wow I thought I was doing good earning $50/hour when I see other people flying plane(s) that cost $2,800/hour to fly. I'd like to do better so I can join the $2,800/hour club.
Most are business expenses. At the airport I fly out of most of the twins and high performance singles on up are part of the owners business. I too wish I could afford one, but I did the next best thing and fly for them and get paid 😊
I used to fly for a major airline, but when I couldn't find a way out of a 330 that had a mind of it's own I finally left. I now have a small crop dusting business and fly for a few families when needed. Most of my clients are licensed but they prefer to have another pilot with their family onboard. I can't say any names, but I fly a PC12 a lot along with a Citation and a few others. But I've been lucky to have ferried the PC12 to Europe and beyond several times. The owner truly puts his through a proper workout and isn't afraid to get it dirty. We try not to go in blind and land on something we've been never seen. But it's seen more grass and dirt strips than our neighbors Carbon Cub on big tires has 😂
bullshit.......who the hell "works" a "job" 3 hours away and commutes by vehicle.........then decides to cut it down to 35 minutes flight time by "buying" a 5 million dollar airplane?
lmao.....
Somebody who has the drive and motivation to build a business large enough to purchase a $5M airplane. If you can't understand that then you'll never achieve that.
Well said sir.
Someone who's talent commands pay commensurate with making that commute worthwhile.
