Although I agree with all of the comments about this man being dumb. He is the one who went and knocked on Grant Cardone's office and showed up while many people are doing nothing. Getting an L is still better than not doing anything props to this quirky kid

i like your attitude man, the internet these days are real quick to jump on you and judge you but this kid probably has had the best lessons of his life and this gave him the motivation to work harder at presenting himself and be quicker when something has been asked. We live and we learn, i think this kid is smarter then all of us tbh otherwhise he wouldnt stand in front of grant in his office

Video is the new big thing making up 80% of total internet traffic, the fact that he’s got a nice chunk of this activity and is using it to stoke his business is just good business. Whether he’s exaggerating his lifestyle or pretending to be something he’s not is irrelevant, he puts out content that a lot of people find valuable and making money off it. And hey who knows, with some shameless self promotion maybe even warren buffet could be making more money. This shit seems to sell like crazy 🤷🏽‍♂️

"I want to make big deals" No offense, you don't deserve the big deals or even the small ones. How I would've handled this 1: Hair cut, 2: Business casual attire 3: lose the sunglasses, 4: Don't say i'm just here to meet you that isn't a "Big Goal" who TF is GC anyway he's just another dude making money, 5: Get to the point you have no skills to offer and accept that, what you are willing to do is grind, say "I will rise to the top no matter what position you place me, bring me on and I will absorb all the knowledge your team pumps out and turn it into my own success for team Cardone and my own life. Start me at the bottom I want to grind to the top." That's it, forget trying to show off on topics you have no experience with you can't bs and bs'er.

Cardone gave the guy 3 chances. 1st, I'm surprised he didn't rip on him for his appearance. Then, he asked for his pitch "what are you doing here" and the kid talked about HIMSELF. Wrong, talk about how you can solve a problem for HIM or his COMPANY....ASK questions!! Third shot, Cardone asked him what his best skill is and gave him a shot, and he failed miserably at that too. For such a fan, he failed to turn his training into action on a person he respected. On the positives, he had balls to show up and he got to meet him face to face and marketed himself on Cardone's success. I'd give his grade a D+. The great thing about it is that Cardone is now aware that the school he was at it CRAP. The kid wasn't all bad...He knew to go to the top to get things done, thought outside of the box to meet face to face,

    • @calex901
      @calex901 6 месяцев назад

You're right. BUT keep in mind you can watch trainings all day, but in my experience, it's really hard to implement those things in a real time, high stress situation like this until you have a LOT of reps and it becomes second nature. Kind of like you could watch tutorials on how to do a basketball move properly on RUclips for hours but if you get thrown in a game with no practice your mind/body won't be able to execute it on the fly unless you've physically practiced it a lot. What this kid does have however are the intangibles--namely--taking deliberate and difficult action, and an unwavering confidence in himself. He drove twelve hours each way to meet a very intimidating billionaire and held his composure nicely. Not like a seasoned salesman. But he didn't get rattled either. This is something that's much harder to teach. And with a little training he can kill it. The mindset is really the key and he's got it.

The security guard was there because he didnt trust some random ass person dressed as a casual dork from the beach to meet Grant Cardone. He drove 12hours without an appointment. The security man doesnt know if he is psychotic or anything, so he is there keeping watch. He should have dressed more professional, idiotic to say the least. He failed on 1st impression.

It is. He is just still brain washed from the system - traditional education.
He is trying his way on, hearing something new from Grand Cardone and possibly others.
Maybe he'll break out from the mental barrier that the society has locked him, and most of us, in.
You can, of course improve and get out of that :)
But it's not that easy. Most people won't do this, nor will not take risks.
I mean... it's easy to say, that 95% ppl will not do it.
I know a person that works for him self, he's a businessman, but he just does a job that he would do if he was emloyeed. It's worse than ...
I gave him advice, one of it was to build a website in 2017. He laughed me, he called his friends.
8months later, i see him again, and he said he's building a website because his friend did it 6months ago, and it shows him resoults.
Now, would he has just lisened me back then.
Problem is that he think doing the same thing, over 20years, will bring him new results.
It's easy. I told him to change few stuff. But he keeps doing the same thing, and getting the same results. Has he only done some of the stuff I told him.
He will figure this out, he is now, but it will be outdated by then.
A website is a step ahead. But even in 2017 people don't have it, and they suck in web.
      I't snot only web...
Traditional education. i told him I'd be a millionaire soon, he laughed. I mean... THis was now, when he told me he's building a website.
Next time we meet, I'm millionaire, he asks me how did you do it? ANd I will reply to him, well, I have told you before.
First they tell you what you're doing wrong, and then they ask you how you did it?!

Not hating on the kid, because lord knows that I have no right to criticize, but you gotta bring the heat to this thing. You don't just drive 12 hours and have such weak delivery. Why did you come? Did you expect a job for just showing up? That's only half of the whole...and a plane flies on 2 wings, my friend.

I would have spent 12 hours getting ready for the interview. You can't just come unprepared when you're meeting someone of that caliber! He had a chance, now Grant will never think of this kid when there is a position open because all he probably thought the whole way down was how many likes he was going to get with his picture with Grant instead of thinking about what questions he will be asked and prepare those answers. Sad but true when it comes to 99% of millennials.

    Red flags everywhere
#1. Drove 12 hours just to look like he is dressed for a frat boy party
#2 Wants to become an intreprneur and tells GC he needs someone to learn from (once he learns enough he will bounce out)
#3 Too much smiling. When you show up for an interview you want to balance smiling and being serious. No one wants to hire someone who is stuck in the relax mode
#4 Lack of preperation. (No resume, or any kind of paperwork. Was to pass one question test and got it wrong)
#5 No confidence and no verbal back up to why he should be a part of the team and what he can bring to the table. No one wants to hire a mooch
#6 Asking GC for a picture at the end. At this point you become a fan boy, not a future employee or contractor. Grant was kind enough to let him take one, but probably laughed at the whole situation later.
I hope the guy really changes the way he approaches life in general. If driving 12 hours just to meet your idol is a good time spent then obviously he does not have a mindset of an entrepreneur. I am glad he knows real estate because that is good knowledge. However, 1st impression is everything.
