      First season had Roger's Mercury Comet and Ford Mustang. First clip is colorized where Jeannie hit's Roger's Comet.

      Thank goodness we didn't have Russ Meyer as the producer of I Dream of Jeannie or we would have had a very Busty blonde that would have trouble putting on the bra! 😮 He was the producer and director of R rated movies of his own independent movie studio. I saw 2 of his movies in the 1970s. 😮😊😃💞

    Great video for sure! I remember myself complaining! About 95 cents a gallon! And now I'd be happy for 95 cents a gallon for gas!

    Some great cars on the show, the GTO's that Tony owned were pretty cool. As was the Impala's, and 1956 VW Beetle in one of the episodes.

    Love the great old cars, and the beautiful ladies, especially Barbara! Out of all the dozens vehicles, it’s funny that there was just one single Chrysler Corporation vehicle, a dilapidated 1941 Dodge near the end! 😂

    Thank You, Looking back we had alot of fun, We had the best music and the best cars at a price we could afford, We could buy a good house for $15,000.00 or $20,000.00, Go to the lake with a boat for $20.00 with 2 kids, The $20.00 was for food gas and drinks and still have money left over. There was no camping charge or a charge to put your boat on the water. I miss them days. We put to many crooks and DA's in office and didn't babyset them and vote them out of office. We were having fun in them years..

    5:11 - Anyone else notice the ill-fitting, possibly '68 Nova front fender on the Bonneville? This is how they "wrecked" new cars back then, without actually wrecking them.

      They did a lot of windshield replacements ( reflections) most of the shots the windows were either rolled down or missing all together 😊

      Aha, I wondered how that was done! It was painful to think they would have done that to a new Pontiac, but of course, no show would have done that. I was just wondering about that again after seeing this now (along with several times before).

      You can tell that it is not the original fender as it doesn't have the stamped in flare that it had in the previous shots.

    1:15 next to the triumph is a early '60's Valiant 1:28 now there's a Porsche and corvair next to him 1:58 there's a coupla sweet Cadillac a turquoise '63 and a '55.

    Usually, a 1965 Ford Custom would have low end hubcaps, such as dog dish. The ones shown here were more often seen on the Galaxie 500.

    Pontiac was at its prime in the '60s. Maybe its a good thing that the old Poncho didn't live till today to be transformed into boring crossover.

    Dr Bellow's drove a. Sweet. Lemans woodie wagon. In. 68. Then in 69. Maj healy. Drove a modded green firebird convert they found on lot in mid 70s

    Barbara ! You shouldn’t have done that to us young and younger men at that time ! I still clearly remember that outfit and usually at times I probably shouldn’t but , thank you anyways ! I couldn’t wait to get home from school !

    I remember an episode where he was driving up to park his blue firebird in front of his house because it looked just like mine. 67 400 cid bird. I miss mine. Great car

    1:15 I think that's a TR-2. Those used car prices were accurate. In1969 my '67 big block roadster was sold by The House of Hardtops for $2000! In 1981, I jumped on it for $7000. This is the one that I want to know about. Is that a T/A repainted Rally Green?

    Another great post! Thanks! It slays me how you always find a voice that approximates the star(s) in the show. Got to love those red-line tires like on that '68 GTO. FUN TRIVIA FACT: NBC's censors popped a fuse when they saw "Jeannie's costume." After much haggling, they agreed but only after it would be altered so that Barbara Eden's navel would never be visible.

    You missed the 1960 Plymouth Valiant in the parking lot - I had one of those. Also, I liked the 65 GTO a lot better than the 69.

    OK the 1st scene on the lot after Jeannie wrecked the 68’ Bonneville was actually a ‘69 Bonneville. But when they show the car repaired and for sale on the lot, its back to a ‘68 Bonneville. Even so, both are my favorites. ❤

    1:34 Poor Larry imagine how long he had to be still while Barbara changes.
    also its not eden who backs up into Healeys car , you can see the shadow of Eden as she gets into the driver's side of the car after the collision.

    On the used car episode, if you look carefully, you would notice that the grille has the 69 Bonneville grille bar, Dr Bellows in the first season had that lovely Grand Prix, then he had a Bonneville, the Executive wagon, finally the Lemans wagon, in the final episode of IDOJ, that was a fancier green Firebird because there was an article about it, I can't recall what magazine, but I believe it ended up being restored, & only one GTO Tony drove had the hubcap wheels which is a cool contrast to the Rally Wheels as well as the wire wheels on the 65

    At 13:18 (during the speeding scene involving the 1969 Pontiac LeMans Safari) the shot of the instrument panel looks like that of a 1969 Pontiac Bonneville (horizontal sweep speedometer). Having driven a 1969 Pontiac Tempest Custom S (cheaper version of the LeMans), I know the dashboard has a circular speedometer! Mild continuity error!
