Thank goodness we didn't have Russ Meyer as the producer of I Dream of Jeannie or we would have had a very Busty blonde that would have trouble putting on the bra! 😮 He was the producer and director of R rated movies of his own independent movie studio. I saw 2 of his movies in the 1970s. 😮😊😃💞
Love the great old cars, and the beautiful ladies, especially Barbara! Out of all the dozens vehicles, it’s funny that there was just one single Chrysler Corporation vehicle, a dilapidated 1941 Dodge near the end! 😂
Thank You, Looking back we had alot of fun, We had the best music and the best cars at a price we could afford, We could buy a good house for $15,000.00 or $20,000.00, Go to the lake with a boat for $20.00 with 2 kids, The $20.00 was for food gas and drinks and still have money left over. There was no camping charge or a charge to put your boat on the water. I miss them days. We put to many crooks and DA's in office and didn't babyset them and vote them out of office. We were having fun in them years..
5:11 - Anyone else notice the ill-fitting, possibly '68 Nova front fender on the Bonneville? This is how they "wrecked" new cars back then, without actually wrecking them.
Aha, I wondered how that was done! It was painful to think they would have done that to a new Pontiac, but of course, no show would have done that. I was just wondering about that again after seeing this now (along with several times before).
Lots of classic cars back in the day of course the Pontiacs then we’re not thought of classics that and seeing Larry Hagman in his nicer guy role before his notorious role of the meanie JR Ewing
13:03 That is awesome and amazing! 2 men who have relationships with supernatural women (in the "TV land," of that general era) sitting next to each other! Love it!
1:15 next to the triumph is a early '60's Valiant 1:28 now there's a Porsche and corvair next to him 1:58 there's a coupla sweet Cadillac a turquoise '63 and a '55.
Barbara ! You shouldn’t have done that to us young and younger men at that time ! I still clearly remember that outfit and usually at times I probably shouldn’t but , thank you anyways ! I couldn’t wait to get home from school !
I remember an episode where he was driving up to park his blue firebird in front of his house because it looked just like mine. 67 400 cid bird. I miss mine. Great car
1:15 I think that's a TR-2. Those used car prices were accurate. In1969 my '67 big block roadster was sold by The House of Hardtops for $2000! In 1981, I jumped on it for $7000. This is the one that I want to know about. Is that a T/A repainted Rally Green?
Another great post! Thanks! It slays me how you always find a voice that approximates the star(s) in the show. Got to love those red-line tires like on that '68 GTO. FUN TRIVIA FACT: NBC's censors popped a fuse when they saw "Jeannie's costume." After much haggling, they agreed but only after it would be altered so that Barbara Eden's navel would never be visible.
OK the 1st scene on the lot after Jeannie wrecked the 68’ Bonneville was actually a ‘69 Bonneville. But when they show the car repaired and for sale on the lot, its back to a ‘68 Bonneville. Even so, both are my favorites. ❤
1:34 Poor Larry imagine how long he had to be still while Barbara changes. also its not eden who backs up into Healeys car , you can see the shadow of Eden as she gets into the driver's side of the car after the collision.
On the used car episode, if you look carefully, you would notice that the grille has the 69 Bonneville grille bar, Dr Bellows in the first season had that lovely Grand Prix, then he had a Bonneville, the Executive wagon, finally the Lemans wagon, in the final episode of IDOJ, that was a fancier green Firebird because there was an article about it, I can't recall what magazine, but I believe it ended up being restored, & only one GTO Tony drove had the hubcap wheels which is a cool contrast to the Rally Wheels as well as the wire wheels on the 65
Not gonna lie, I watched this series as a kid to see the new Pontiacs. Many years later I happened to meet Barbara Eden once in person, very nice lady! 🧞♀️
At 13:18 (during the speeding scene involving the 1969 Pontiac LeMans Safari) the shot of the instrument panel looks like that of a 1969 Pontiac Bonneville (horizontal sweep speedometer). Having driven a 1969 Pontiac Tempest Custom S (cheaper version of the LeMans), I know the dashboard has a circular speedometer! Mild continuity error!
It's so cool to see that Barbara Eden knows how to operate a millineal security device. The bikinis and the gorgeous ladies are the best plus they all have waists!!!............. just sayin'............
*If i could go back i would bring back THE RAREST CORVETTE* *Like the first corvette made* *CATER* *Then i would probably give it to someone poorer then me*

“The Used Car Salesman” is hilarious and one of my favorites. Carl Ballentine is always funny.
Pontiac was the official sponsor of the I dream of Jeanie series for its entire run.
YIKES. Jeannie had read mod clothes hats boots and mini skirts....VA ba voooooom
My three sons too
@@gerry-p9x exactly what I was going to say. Also, family affair was sponsored by Pontiac, although rarely showing vehicles.
Did the cast do Pontiac commercials like Bewitched did for Chevrolet?
First season had Roger's Mercury Comet and Ford Mustang. First clip is colorized where Jeannie hit's Roger's Comet.
Barbara Eden is so amazing and has long reached living legend status! 93 years young at this writing, December 5, 2024. Happy Holidays, Ms. Eden!
The butternut yellow 68 Firebird 400 convertible with Ram Air 😍
Never noticed any of the cars, at age 10-15, all that I saw was Jeanie's High Beams !!!
Heheheh, great show all around! Larry Hagman screaming "Jeannie", the lovely lady Barbara Eden, and golden age Pontiacs all the time!
Nothing but sun and convertibles !
Loved this show as a kid. I love this show today.
Ohh My this story is absolutely delicious, twist & turns on every level, this show along with a few more was my childhood, you understand im sure... ❤
That 68 GTO
Wow!!!
This was a really really good video!!
I especially like the 69 -70 season when Jeannie started wearing the very short skirts and dresses. And 👀 the great Pontiacs featured on the show.😊
She is so freaking gorgeous. 🥰🥰🥰
GREAT VIDEO!!! THESE CARS I LOVE 60-70S ,,, THX.
This show was one of my favorite re-runs (along with Gilligan's Island) as a kid. Brings back memories of simpler times.
Amen. Couldn't decide between her or Mary Ann.
@@gorn9161 Jeanne all the way!
Good times and great cars.

What a collection of classic American Convertibles!
WOW some really Awesome cars to see.
I'd take Jeannie everywhere I go in the 65' GTO, converitible.
I enjoyed this. Thank you
Cool pontiacs
I love these videos! I watched all these TV shows when I was a boy and noticed every one of those cars!!!
Great video for sure! I remember myself complaining! About 95 cents a gallon! And now I'd be happy for 95 cents a gallon for gas!
Totally agree with you.
Some great cars on the show, the GTO's that Tony owned were pretty cool. As was the Impala's, and 1956 VW Beetle in one of the episodes.
Love the great old cars, and the beautiful ladies, especially Barbara! Out of all the dozens vehicles, it’s funny that there was just one single Chrysler Corporation vehicle, a dilapidated 1941 Dodge near the end! 😂

They did a lot of windshield replacements ( reflections) most of the shots the windows were either rolled down or missing all together 😊
Aha, I wondered how that was done! It was painful to think they would have done that to a new Pontiac, but of course, no show would have done that. I was just wondering about that again after seeing this now (along with several times before).
Good eye ! It also looks like they removed the rocker panel trim from that side as well.
You can tell that it is not the original fender as it doesn't have the stamped in flare that it had in the previous shots.
@@quad5186 probably had to come off to get the OG fender off

Good catch amigo , and @1:57 , the Shelby looking gow job ? She is so beautiful it is quite distracting
I think the Triumph is a TR2.
Usually, a 1965 Ford Custom would have low end hubcaps, such as dog dish. The ones shown here were more often seen on the Galaxie 500.
The full wheel covers were optional equipment on the Custom series
@@gcfifthgear, okay, thanks.
A lot of Pontiac GTO's and rag tops.
Love it 😊
I never realized how beautiful Barbara Eden was until now ❤
The 2nd. Darren Stevens appears in one scene with Jeannie... Then he went directly to the competing "Bewitched" show!
:43 that's Lou Ann, Gomer's girl!! Boy- she sure gets around...😆
Pontiac was at its prime in the '60s. Maybe its a good thing that the old Poncho didn't live till today to be transformed into boring crossover.
Dr Bellow's drove a. Sweet. Lemans woodie wagon. In. 68. Then in 69. Maj healy. Drove a modded green firebird convert they found on lot in mid 70s
Barbara ! You shouldn’t have done that to us young and younger men at that time ! I still clearly remember that outfit and usually at times I probably shouldn’t but , thank you anyways ! I couldn’t wait to get home from school !

I loved Jeannie’s evil raven haired twin sister.
Dito. Don't forget Sam's naughty sister on Bewitched😍
You do realize that these weren't "classic" cars back then. They were simply the cars of the time.
True… Yet there were exceptions, like maybe the Rolls-Royces (certainly the 1937!)?
unlike some sites this one gets the make and model of cars right
Very well done! 😁👍 👏👏👏👏
Tony should have kept his 65 GTO. Sweeeeeeet!

You know when I watched the show I hardly paid any attention to the cars back then.
You missed the 1960 Plymouth Valiant in the parking lot - I had one of those. Also, I liked the 65 GTO a lot better than the 69.
3:38 1965 Mercury Monterey
