- So Evo Vegas is right around the corner, this week, this Friday coming up! Evo we love it as the big tournament that it is, but its also very much a big marketing event where we can expect tons of news and trailers, so lets take some speculation at what exactly we might see on site! Lots of fighting game goodies are coming so lets talk about it!

So hey, Evo is right around the corner! Friday in fact! And don't you know it Evo tends to be a place where a lot of big announcements, trailers, and all sorts of fun reveals drop! So with this video lets speculate what will show up, there's a few very safe bets to be sure, and some other things that might be a bit more out there but its always fun to see! Evo is basically FGC christmas when it comes to the drops and I feel there's gonna be some pretty profound stuff this year, so take a watch and let me know what you think!

All I just want is to see fatal fury city of the wolves 3rd trailer announcement, two character reveals hotaru in kofxv, season 3 dlc and her and rock becoming a couple. Though some tells me that she shouldn't be in KOF cuz to many fatal fury characters but i don't agree because she isn't canon unlike the other garou characters so that's why reason why i want her back. I also want her and rock to become a couple like how jin and xiaoyu did in tekken 8. I never ask you that cuz I was scared if the developers wouldn't see it necessary but I like how the developers of tekken put their effort into making jin and xiaoyu a couple so I'm hoping snk will do the same with rock and hotaru making them interact like jin and xiaoyu did, having longer and more interactions, communicate with each other forming a bond/love chemistry and becoming a couple
Some other things not in the video like 2XKO, there's really nothing to say. Riot kinda works outside the "established system" as it were and does their own thing, we already got the Braum reveal, we already know the beta is going down in August, already been covered in big detail on the channel, so there's nothing to really expect from them. Some things are obvious enough like the next Tekken character drop, and hoping for some big surprises along the way! Its right after Evo but all the big MK1 stuff will be covered on the channel as well too. Ill be there in person so ill do my best to cover everything, some things might not be timely as I can only make vids once im back in the hotel room but ill certainly do my best to cover everything.

Capcom: Terry gameplay trailer and maybe Marvel Collection release date.
Warner Bros: At most a slight tease for any Year 2 content.
Arc System Works: 1st Season 4 Character for Strive and 5th Character for Versus Rising.
Bandai: Either Marduk or Fahkumram.
SNK: more reveals for CotW and KoF XV Season 3.
Surprise reveal: Virtua Fighter 6.
COPIUM reveal: Soulcalibur VII.
I think a gameplay trailer might be a bit early, we haven't gotten his teaser so I'm strongly betting it's just gonna be the teaser sadly :(
Unless we randomly get his teaser sometime during the week
I'll share some of that copium with you, because SCVII would be the best possible piece of news for EVO.
@@kareema3832you're probably right, though the timing thing of showing and releasing new characters was a bit of a gripe in season 1, so maybe Capcom treats us to a full blown trailer a bit earlier this year

I have a feeling Capcom will do their Terry and Mai trailers and release dates, followed by KoF guest characters from Street Fighter, my guess would be Ryu, Chun Li, Guile, Fatal Fury release date and then immediately followed by a familiar announcer voice with a few broadly general screens ending with Capcom vs. SNK 3 Now in Development! 🎉
People would lose their collective minds if a black screen shows up randomly & we all hear this...

It seems to me, Sega is such a very, VERY Japanese company... I wouldn't expect them to announce VF6 in Vegas, but I would welcome it! I was hoping EVO Japan would be it but... alas.
well once that news sorta broke out there was only ever really 3 places. Evo Japan, Evo prime, and TGS. I thought Evo japan woulda been the one but turns out no. Honestly I do think TGS is more likely than Evo vegas but well... I want my new stuff now I dont wanna wait anymore, vf5 turned friggin 18 years old yesterday lol

For what it's worth, news may come in the toyko game show- RGG Studios (who are behind sega's third biggest IP after sanic and persona) said their next game will be announced then so clearly Sega will have some presence there

For Street Fighter 6 they will show Terry's teaser trailer from World Tour (same like they did with A.K.I last year) and show outfits 4 and maybe outfits 5 as well

Personally, I've looking forward to a Sega announcement about Eternal Champions ever since the trademark filing in December. I'm hoping we get some kind of news on that soon.

Man I would love it more than most, DoA means a lot to me. However while I do think the franchise will eventually return(if only cause theres money in it) I do think its gonna be in ice for the foreseeable future
@@rooflemonger Doa also means alot to me. Though I play tekken the most lately, DOA was my first experience with a 3D fighting game. I remmeber having so much fun when i first tried it out.

So after M. Bison came out last month in June, I think Street Fighter 6 season 2 is STILL getting started! Also! I think Terry of Fatal Fury debut coming this fall like September or October or November. That Fatal Fury could be "alright" within it sometimes though, I don't mind that though.😏😏😁😁🔥🔥

I want some new confirmed characters (with gameplay) for Fatal Fury, confirmation for the new Virtua Fighter and the first character for season 4 of GGST, anything else is just a possible bonus. Terry gameplay in SF would be awesome though.

😂 Too early to announce a SNK collection. The Marvel one was barely announced. Maybe in 2 years we will get it ( Fighting Collection with Darkstalkers was 2 years ago ). Surely we will get a release date for the Marvel collection and a Terry Bogard gameplay reveal for SF6 for the Capcom side. That’s it.

I really wouldn’t be surprised if Marvel vs Capcom 4 was something Capcom has been working on behind the scenes for a couple years now, (maybe even longer) but even then, we likely wouldn’t hear any official word on that until after Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics comes out. X-Men are pretty clearly the future of the MCU, doing a new Marvel vs Capcom (now with X-Men again) would be a nice way of drumming up X-Men hype, just like the X-Men spots in recent movies, and the recent X-Men ‘97 cartoon. They could maybe announce the digital version is out now at EVO. EVO would definitely be a good place to reveal changes they’ve made in more detail.
Terry at EVO seems like a pretty safe bet. They show him now, he comes out sometime in September.
I wonder if Bandai Namco will have anything new to show off? Dragon Ball FighterZ basically ended development at the beginning of 2021, so there’s three years now where that team could been making some follow-up, (either a DBFZ2, something with some other Jump series, or just a Jump crossover... of those hopefully it’s not DBFZ2) likewise the final Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC character came out at the end of 2021, and I gotta imagine Bandai Namco has had them working on something since then.
Also related to Arc System Works, there was that Persona leaker a while back that said a new Persona fighting game was in development.

Since you mentioned MvC - I just watched the Venom trailer for Marvel Rivals and it seems there's not only a visual reference to MvC in the form of a blue color variant, but also a move that is taken from or inspired by his MvC moveset. Might be a bit of a stretch, but make they're trying to tell us something there 😶🌫️

Also related to the Twitter leaker, there's a very slim chance we see a new Persona fighting game announced at EVO or TGS. But they haven't had any updates regarding that games development in a while.
i do believe we will get something for KOF's 30th anniversary.

I am hoping for a glimpse of Terence Bogardus in glorious RE Engine, but I'm doubting to be honest. Bison has only just been released, so I wouldn't be surprised if Capcom just let that shimmer for a bit before building up the hype with the next DLC character.
Snk are really for the people. They have consistently brought the hype in the last couple years.

You know what I would do if I were Capcom? Put out yearly swimsuit costumes for the characters in the summer. Like, there is obviously demand and they are the quickest and cheapest to make. It make them money and definitely bring people in. Even if there are no swimsuits, though, I would not be surprised if there was an announcement of new outfits coming during Season 2. They said in their interview with Kotaku that they've seen the demand for them and they're seeing if it they can't do something about it...which means they're already doing something about it. I wouldn't expect a costume 04 for all characters, but rather just a few special costumes for certain characters and such.

You know id REALLY like the next DLC to be Lei lol Even more so considering he'd be a better character to include in the upcoming Fall Story expansion (assuming all 3 will be featured in said expansion). Even Bruce would be welcome and more story-fodder being Kazuyas old pal vs frikkin "Fukem"😷😄

My coping with having to wait another year for a shot at Alex or Mika (or any other grappler) to get added to the game is that Capcom is going to announce a world tour expansion or cinematic story dlc that comes with a couple characters to incentivize people who may not care so much about the single player aspects to buy it.
I know this more than likely isn’t going to happen but a guy can hope.
If they're gonna add a Capcom character to an SNK game, I'm hoping it will be Juri. There's a good chance it will be her if they're going that route.
