Well I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to interview Eartha Kitt back in 1997 and she was one of the most honest and enchanting people I ever met. Frank and straight to the point, unpretentious and possessing a great sense of humor, she opened up and answered all of my questions without hesitation and I personally feel she was treated abominably by the Johnson administration, but ever the trooper, she bounced back and enjoyed many years of artistic success worldwide and rightly so IMHO. Sadly missed.

Eartha Kitt was a strong black woman who wss not afraid to speak her mind. She stood up for what she believed in. Eartha fought her way back in the1970's and showed the Americans she was a true activist and did not support racism in any form. It is a pity Eartha is not around today to witness the crap going on in this world. I am sure she would have a lot to say. It is time we all looked at Eartha Kitt as a fine example for mankind and start living as one to protect our young generation from living lifestyles which are not beneficial and rewarding.

@@callmek186 yes , the eternal struggle between the humans animal nature vs spiritual nature.
It doesn't take much to teach a child about the two natures and how animal nature is very strong and reliable, but the spirit nature is stronger by far, yet unreliable and subject to fits of frenzy or passion.

she was great, she just was, and what a Catwoman, she was fantastic in batman, she had the comic touch that was outstanding, for such a role! and the singing, yes it was a bit strange! but certainly not unpleasant.

Can somebody please explain how and why she has that accent?
The establishments that closed their doors to her , were themselves worried about having their door closed or suffering consequences.
