The good thing about phats is mostly that you can easily swap harddrives without having to buy a seperate harddrive case unless you somehow manage to disassemble the slim's harddrive case and manage to put it back together
@@adummyloluhhh To be fair, there's 3d printable models out there, but then you can't really do much about vibration at that point. The reason why I bring up vibration is because most people using 3rd party drives in a modded consoles won't pick an SSD as their first drive.
@@R4dm1nIt wouldn't be an issue reusing the case except Microsoft glued the case instead of using plastic tabs (probably so that they can fit the hard drive into the slim)
Yo! I have my Xbox 360 console that is similar as urs (Xbox 360 S). This used to be my favourite console besides PS3 and Wii cuz of the games like Forza Motorsport 2 and Kinect Sports. Ah the good old days! Also I'm ur new subscriber :) Edit: Nvm I didn't know that u have Xbox 360 S, my bad.
@@SarsamSamo1 Alright, this will be a mouthful, so be prepared. SSDs won't make much performance difference in a device like the Xbox 360 due to its limited SATA I bus. Sure it's better than the OG Xbox's IDE but not enough to make an SSD shine. The 360 has built in file management like the original Xbox. Go under storage and devices and you'll see all of your drives. Select the drive you want to transfer from and press Y. Select the drive you want to transfer to. Do the same thing for the other way around. As to how I did this, I used a flash drive between both 360s.
1. It doesn't help that Sonic 06 is a badly optimized game. 2. Forza 2 was loading from the disc, despite clearly being installed on the SSD. The big giveaway is the FMV stutter at the start. At least it's still faster than the original Xbox.
Yea the old sata interface on 360 is limiting factor for SSDs. It's recommended to just go for other HDDs instead of buying SSDs. But if you have SSDs laying around, it's fine
After playing a couple more games directly on the SSD (including Forza Horizon 1), I can safely say that's the case. I have YET to see if OG Xbox games load any faster than they do on my SSD modded Xbox tho. ...But it's solid state so I can shake the fuck out of it, though not really the best idea because of the wires inside.
i doubt anyone reads the description, but i added it in there. i will keep this in mind next time i upload shit like this. youtube please add a "replace video file" function in your fucking video editing shit.

Will I still be able to rgh my Xbox even after the marketplace shutdown?
@@riansubasic8432 RGH is a hardmod so yes.
Hello, can any SSD brand be used? Does the model and serial number matter? I want to install 2 tb?
Shouldn't really matter as long as the SSD you install is SATA 1 compatible.

So, a SSD don't do a big difference vs a HDD, interesting
