Publix Bogo deals are a giant scam. They routinely mark up the prices of the items on Bogo over the regular price so you think you’re getting a great deal. In actuality you may only be saving 50-75 cents. And yeah, I know because I worked for them for three years and one of my jobs was to change pricing signage weekly in meat and seafood prior to each weeks sale.

Interesting the price differences from one part of Florida to another. Here in SW Florida the Publix prices are quite a bit lower for the same products. By the way, the low price on the Chosen Foods salad dressing is because they're discontinuing them; I stocked up yesterday! And Publix isn't so much a cult as a monopoly...
The thing about Publix is to shop their amazing sales. Their weekly ad changes on Thursdays usually in South Florida. Keep an eye out for the BOGO deals. Nearly everything will eventually go on sale for BOGO or some other multi purchase deal. I have seen lots of great Bobby Approved items on BOGO sale often at Publix. They sell some nice local raw honey in the 'Fresh From Florida" section called Keez Beez that I buy when it goes on sale, since it is pretty expensive otherwise. They also have an entire Greenwise store in West Boca.
@gray pierre I guess it depends on what you eat… I eat clean… very little meat and mostly organic. Truly butter was a great deal, that week. I know exactly what I eat, so when I see something on BOGO, it saves me money. I shop Publix for the sale items. Everyone in the Sebastian, Florida store are always helpful and kind.
@gray pierre Just check the ingredients of some of the fake meat. Grass fed is best for your body when you can afford to eat small portions. I really thought the taste was good in some fakes, but then I looked at what was in it. Of course, no antibiotics in poultry. It has taken me a long time to understand the traps of thinking it’s healthy because it says organic. Unless, they are free range in fields… not just free range with a million birds in a building, being fed organic corn. It is so hard to find free range chicken that doesn’t cost a fortune. So, when Publix has BOGO on organic chicken, I do settle for, what I imagine as cooped up chickens not able to go outside… If you have ever seen a Tyson chicken building full of chickens you may have your disappoints, too. Isn’t crazy!!! Food has become so complicated!
I worked for Publix for over 30 years! Prices are different in various locations. I have two stores within 5 miles of me the one near my house is the cheapest the other one I go to for my prescriptions because it has a pharmacy everything is $.20-$.50 higher! Thanks for doing this video I’ve been waiting for you to go to Publix!
I am so glad you moved down south. I grew up in Orlando and now live in a North Georgia. Publix has always been my favorite store. Thanks for doing a video on Publix.
My Mom used to live in the area and there were over a dozen Publix stores in driving distance. We used to joke that it was the only grocery store in Florida.
I used to do store security, back in the day. Brad looks very suspicious. Stores also have security cameras. I'm sure they are aimed at both of you, LOL
I live right near three different Publix markets in Orlando, Florida on John Young Parkway. For 20 years I had a Publix steps away from my apartment in Miami. They are the cleanest markets, well run, but expensive. Unfortunately, it seems nearly all the organic produce I buy from them is MOLDY. The strawberries, blueberries and tomatoes and Romaine lettuce at the stems are especially a problem. Trouble is, you can't see the mold until you open the packages and pull out the top berries, or see the underside of packaged tomatoes. I am sick and tired of dealing with this problem for a few years now, so I buy my produce at Fresh market here in Kissimmee. Btw: Publix does give you refund if you bring foods back, but who wants the hassle.
Of you try winn dixie , try to go to a newly renovated one. The old ones are rough looking lol much better since they remodeled ,at least the ones around me are.
I just found your channel, OMG!!!!!! I cleaned out my fridge and pantry and ready to re-stock with better choices. Thank you for teaching the healthy way to shop for food.
Made his wife’s crackers and love them. Everything bagel seasoning makes them delicious. I started making My own almond milk and peanut nut butter. Love my Vitamix blender
Publix was my fav when I lived there back in the 90’s jealous your in Florida we’re up in Chitown brrrrrr ......good choice but the humidity is a killer in the summer!
I am from Chicago too.... I was laughing thinking of the first Video Bobby does in the summer.... I am in Delray beach, It's nice out now... but boy when summer comes... Wow!
I liked it better when I could sit here in North Carolina, watch these videos, and be smug when looking at snowy Chicago. Instead, I'm sitting here in North Carolina on a cold, rainy day with seven more of the same coming, watching sunny days in Florida. How could Bobby be so cruel?
If it makes you feel a bit better, my entire weekend is gonna be rained out here in central Florida and most of next week is supposed to be rain as well. In fact, the weekend is calling for some pretty bad lightning (we ARE the "lightning capitol of the world, you know.)
Hey Bobby and Brad! This is awesome, been wanting to your review of Publix and see what you thought. Still can’t over seeing palm trees behind you before you go into a store. Thanks again, stay safe!
I am honestly shocked at the number of Publix worshippers. They are so expensive; we can’t afford to shop there and the selection is paltry. Perhaps the prices are better than what you would pay in Chicago, but for other places that are not outrageously expensive, one needs a second mortgage to afford Publix. HEB in Texas is by far the best, most affordable grocery store I’ve ever shopped at. I ate healthier when I was in Texas because it was actually affordable.
Yes Publix is pricey! I like it too but I'd rather find deals elsewhere and stretch my money farther. They do have some good BOGOs and I love Publix subs but, yeah it can get expensive.
Thank you so much, Bobby for doing Publix!!! Looooove Publix! Best customer service ever! I lived in FL for many yrs so going to Publix is like going home. I shop at Publix here in NC and they do have Greenwise organic chicken. Sometimes they don't have it! yes please do more Publix!!! I am surrounded with Costco, BJ'S, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods and I go to these once in a while but do most of my shopping, 90% at Publix. Quality can't be beat, customer service amazing, impeccably clean, very strict Covid protocol.plus my son works there, an added bonus!!! Thank you for all you do for us!!!! We love you and your family from NC!!!
Bobby, I appreciate what you do. I'm at my best on animal-centered keto. My teenage son wants to eat clean and sustainably so you really help us make great decisions for clean eating for him! We also love Thrive Market. My son loves beef jerky so I buy him Chomps beef sticks. I can feel great about it. We live in Georgia and we're only about 2 hours from White Oak Pastures. There's also a 100% grass fed and finished angus beef ranch right here in our county. Pastured pork and chicken less than an hour away. We are fortunate. Thank you again!
Last year Publix had the White Oaks farm ground beef on a BOGO offer I scooped up a few. Publix is expensive but their store brands are priced good & you can't beat their BOGOs, when I shop there I plan my trip by checking out their ad before I go.
I think Publix is growing- we now have one in VA but not close to me, sadly. I miss the Friday night happy hour videos- so fun! Please consider bringing them back. Breakfast ones are good but I like to sleep in on weekends 😂.
I think he truly buys a lot of his stuff off of there. He make it an even higher discount since he is always promoting them. It is a good online store, especially if you are paleo or keto or have other food intolerances. But yeah, I always fast forward whenever he starts on the Thrive Market spiel. Just tapped the right side of your video twice and it will skip through, if you are watching it on your phone at least,
I believe Thrive is Bobby’s biggest sponsor. Without sponsors support we (the public/followers of the channel) won’t have access to all this FREE valuable information.
Welcome to FL! Have you done a segment on frozen prepared dinners? Any healthy ones out there? My old friend lives alone & doesn't want to cook much so she grabs drive-thru and she has many ailments.
Great review of Our favorite store. We do order from Thrive Market and Vitacost also. Our Publix in Easley SC does sell organic Greenwise chicken . It's always a pleasure to shop at Publix. KEEP THEM COMING.
Without reading all the comments I will say you have to do BOGO at Publix every Thursday the sale ad changes except on holidays they seem to stay the same for 2 consecutive weeks. I just bought BOGO Truly butter and it was as yellow as the sun. Beautiful stuff...
In my rural Florida county we refer to Publix as the "Whole Foods" of Okeechobee. Sadly shopping there vs. Aldi / Walmart / Winn-Dixie is about as much as being elite as it is grocery shopping. Easy 25% to 50% higher.
Thank you for doing a Publix haul-helpful! I don't mind paying a little more for quality products & great customer service & I'm not rich. It's all about what you are willing to invest in. Food is worth it IMO!
PUBLIX!!Woohoo !!!! Only thing that would have made this video perfect would have been Art jamming to the Cure on the background soundtrack. You need to go back when they have the BOGO sales .
When the cows are not eating grass due to weather don't they eat hay....which is grass? Just wondering. My Uncle raises cattle and one year the drought was so bad he had no choice but to feed them grain and hay.
Now you’re in my neck of the woods. Publix is my go to store. Loved it since moving here. Enjoy all the videos & your info. Welcome to you & your family to Florida. Would like more Greenwise feedback.👍
Hey Bobby - Now that you are in Florida, can you do a video on what not to buy with regards to seafood? Thanks for all the great info. Greenwise please!
So happy you made this video!!! Thank you! Most of my shopping is done at Publix so this is so helpful. Can't wait for a video about Bobby approved hurricane snacks later this year. Welcome to Florida!
OMGoodness - when you moved here to Florida, I knew you were eventually going to do a Publix haul - and sure enough you did! I'm so ecstatic! Since living in Florida for most of my life, Publix has been my go to store for groceries. I know they can be pricey, but I check the sale ads and the BOGO's! Since watching your Aldi haul, I now shop there for their 100% grass-fed ground beef. Thanks, Bobby, for keeping us educated to live healthier! 😀
Bobby I lived in Florida, they’re less expensive than Chicago, which I’m from but lived in Florida for 8 years, so food wise you’re gonna love living in Florida! Yes Publix was the place to go besides Whole Foods for quality foods. Then there’s Albertsons, Kroger, Winn Dixie, of course, Walmart. Love your videos, and you’re missing “Chi-Berian express” weather😳🥶🥶🥶🥶
Almost 20 years ago....when I moved to Georgia...I LOVED PUBLIX for their commitment to customer service....they are lacking in GA these days......they are over priced and their customer service SUCKS
I love Publix and I rather pay extra for the products they provide. It's great products and hard to find. TY Bobby for finally review Publix. I would like you input on So Delicious organic coconut creamer. It's located in the frig of the milk', creamer section.
I very shop at Publix anymore. Prices are high and the fruits and veggies at my Publix don’t last more than 48 hours before they begin to rot. Costco’s meat is so much better.
Bobby knows about Grocery Outlet but since the pandemic started he hasn't been able to get back to the West Coast. Hopefully soon he can return and do a Grocery Haul at Grocery Outlet.
FL Grass Fed Hamburger is $2 cheaper a lb at Costco here in West Central FL. The Elmhurst is in the cold area because it's shipped in that way. When I go thru Publix I do my best to stick to the Bogo's. I can average $30-50. In savings if I'm careful. Best sales generally towards end of the month. Was hoping for more of a review of Greenwise Products, but always love your videos! Glad I found you!!
Couldn’t wait for this one! I shop at Publix all the time. They are pricey tho. Just got Siete chips there. Looking forward to the GreenWise review. Thanks and say hello to Art:)
Years ago, I've discovered that my local Publix is pricier than my local WFM in numerous items. I'm so glad you pointed how how there are quite a number of organic Greenwise products, but the meat is NOT organic--go figure! It's why I shop WFM mostly just to get clean meat. I know different locations carry different prices, but Publix does carry a couple of organic chicken from differing places that is clean. It may have been out of stock when you shopped. Thanks for pointing out other newer items that can be added to my repertoire. I can't wait to try that Truly butter.

I think Publix is growing- we now have one in VA but not close to me, sadly. I miss the Friday night happy hour videos- so fun!
Please consider bringing them back. Breakfast ones are good but I like to sleep in on weekends 😂.
YAY!!!!! You're at Publix!!! Thank You!!!
I was annoyed at the frequent plugs for Thrive. The add at the beginning was OK but then he plugged them five or six more times!
Yay!!!! We are soooo happy you are here in Florida. !!
I love Publix here in Georgia. The service is great, for this alone I would shop here. Love their meats. Clean stores.
Welcome to FL! Have you done a segment on frozen prepared dinners? Any healthy ones out there? My old friend lives alone & doesn't want to cook much so she grabs drive-thru and she has many ailments.
Thanks for sharing! I live in North Carolina and my daughter works at Publix and I shop there some. Great fines!👍🏻❤️
Yes!!! Definitely should do a wegmans haul! like if you agree
Great review of Our favorite store. We do order from Thrive Market and Vitacost also.
Our Publix in Easley SC does sell organic Greenwise chicken . It's always a pleasure to shop at Publix.
KEEP THEM COMING.
Yes, as other people said you save money at Publix when you shop their sales. I am a fan of the store due to their customer service.
I only go to publix for BOGO sales. I am from NYC and don't find the subs as popular as the people who live here. They LOVE them.
Thank you for doing a Publix haul-helpful! I don't mind paying a little more for quality products & great customer service & I'm not rich. It's all about what you are willing to invest in. Food is worth it IMO!
I love Flavcity and most of all Rose! I have been getting the items you suggested and you never disappoint. Thanks so much
Bobby is super awesome, when I visit Florida I know what to buy at Publix🎉
PUBLIX!!Woohoo !!!! Only thing that would have made this video perfect would have been Art jamming to the Cure on the background soundtrack. You need to go back when they have the BOGO sales .
Bobby there is a great grocery store in S. Florida called Seed to Table Grocery Store. Maybe you could do a presentation there if you want.
When the cows are not eating grass due to weather don't they eat hay....which is grass? Just wondering. My Uncle raises cattle and one year the drought was so bad he had no choice but to feed them grain and hay.
Thank you! I was so excited to see a video from Publix!
Publix also has Elizabeth granola, which you showed on a previous video- Walmart I think
Oh my gosh! this is not a drill! This is a dream come true for me! Bobby Grocery haul in Publix! woohoo!
Florida really isn't considered "The South." Florida is just weird. I've been here eight years and still don't really know how to describe this place.
My part is "the South." The rest isn't. 😁
@@littlehousepineywoods5352 if you are away from the big cities its "the south" The rest is rich snobs and old geezers living their twilight years
Just curious. Why are you here?

Now you’re in my neck of the woods. Publix is my go to store. Loved it since moving here. Enjoy all the videos & your info. Welcome to you & your family to Florida. Would like more Greenwise feedback.👍
I always thought that sweet potatoes had to be organic? Aren't they in the same growing conditions as traditional potatoes?
no, for some reason sweet potatoes are not on the dirty dozen list....I don't get it either.
That Purely Pecan with sweet potato is soooooooooooo good!!
Hey Bobby - Now that you are in Florida, can you do a video on what not to buy with regards to seafood? Thanks for all the great info. Greenwise please!
Green wise does carry an organic chicken but it’s kinda hard to find
Please explain again in one of your future videos about NATURAL FLAVORS and why they are bad. Thanks.
He already made that video. Search for it on RUclips. FlavCity Natural Flavors.
I did see that Florida brand ground beef last time, not sure if it is 100% grass fed however
Bobby I lived in Florida, they’re less expensive than Chicago, which I’m from but lived in Florida for 8 years, so food wise you’re gonna love living in Florida!
So delicious had added flavors that he doesn’t like
I very shop at Publix anymore. Prices are high and the fruits and veggies at my Publix don’t last more than 48 hours before they begin to rot. Costco’s meat is so much better.
Publix is the best.. they also have every Thursday Buy one get one free items
Check the expiration date on that salad dressing or anything on sale because its usually expired or about to expire.
Do they have a Grocery Outlet near you? We have them here in CA and I've seen Primal Kitchen, Lakanto, and other good products there.
Love Grocery Outlet, picked up a few organic items today! ❣️
Bobby knows about Grocery Outlet but since the pandemic started he hasn't been able to get back to the West Coast. Hopefully soon he can return and do a Grocery Haul at Grocery Outlet.
If you run across Greenfield’s Irish butter, it’s 100% grassfed. And delicious! Well priced, too.
How much apple cider vinegar should you drink in the morning?
too bad you missed so many good stores in Chicago hope you to every single store in your new state
FL Grass Fed Hamburger is $2 cheaper a lb at Costco here in West Central FL.
I’m a Florida girl now, so I go to Publix. They are more expensive than Winn Dixie, but when they have a sale you can save a lot. 😉
The white oak pastures beef is on sale $6.99 until the ad changes on Wednesday at Publix
Bobby and Brad; thank you guys for making a video on Publix, my favorite grocery store.
