Members at Costco and BJs... When BJs has a sale on their organic maple syrup it is cheaper than costco. Most prices are comparable. BJs generally has smaller quantities, like "family size" rather than costco's often business/restaurant sizes.
True. The coconut oil is bigger at Costco 96oz. Almond flour is 3lbs. Both cheaper at Costco too. Like almond flour is the same price at both warehouses but Costco 3lbs vs BJs 2lbs
BJ’s has quadruple the amount of coupons...I’m a customer to both Costco & BJ’s. I shop both for different things. BJ’s seems to be really stepping up it’s game to better quality healthy foods..

When I moved to Northen Virginia, 7 years ago, I discovered BJ's for the 1st time. I loved it because it's, like Bobby said, between a warehouse and a regular grocery store! The bulk is manageable, especially when it comes to produce and dairy. It's less expensive than the grocery store but some time slightly more expansive than Costco. What I like even more about it, during this pandemic is the free curbside pick up!

BJs in CT carries lots of cuts of grass fed beef- not just ground (ground have 90% and 85%) also strip and rib eye and sirloin steaks and stew meat. Also BJs smaller sized items, not gigantic, take coupons- more skus of household items than Costco. I’m in both clubs, complement each other.

I shop at BJs cus it's closer to me than Costco. Yes some of the prices are little more expensive but what I love about them is if you download their app you can scan any item and see if they have a coupon! The coupons save me money all the time.

@@MEEE.com.thank you! I feel like that's the one thing no one knows about BJs their good coupons. They do have a paper flyer with coupons but it's so much easier for me at least to scan and clip the coupon so it's automatically applied at the checkout. Their app has a whole tab for coupons where you can search and look thru before you head to the store if you'd wanted to plan your trip around it.
@@kimberlyv1993 I feel like companies have so many hidden app features such as this but don’t market it widely because more ppl would want to save some cash perhaps? 🤷🏻♀️ the grocery stores up here are moving away from the whole “phone number lookup” thing. Now it’s mostly advertised savings for all and the APP will save you more if u take the time. I tried it at one store but it didn’t even apply my coupons (Mariano’)
The Bjs app is very convenient. I wish Costco would make changes to their app.

Love your videos. I am a BJs member and the coupons on the BJs app save tons of money. All you have to do is scan each item when shopping and it deducts the coupon at check out. So excited for this video 😁

I shop at BJs shopper for 3 years and agree when it comes to milk to get the Elmhurst from Thrive (for myself) and I get BJs grass-fed milk for my kids all the time and stonyfield yogurt! and King Arthur GF flour, will try those kale chips next time and love garden of life vitamins from thrive! MORE BJS HAULS BOBBY!!! THANK YOU!! 👍👍
I prefer BJs over costco not necessarily for the selection but the size of bulk items works better for my small family.
This,it's my son and my wife and I and Costco sizes are like for families of at least 5+ I feel.

Bobby, as a new dad check out the baby section. I always have recommended BJ's to new parents because while Costco and Sam's club will usually have one choice for diapers wipes and other products BJ's has three or four.
Bobby, can you do an episode shopping haul that's just fresh food. I know people are addicted to bagged/boxed this or that but shoot one on fresh foods only!

You can also use manufacturing coupons in conjunction with store coupons at BJs

I dropped my Costco membership and signed up with BJs in 2019. I'm happy with the change. I do miss somethings about Costco, but overall, I'm happy.
We have no Costco that sells groceries in Orlando, Florida. We do have BJ.s and I am a member. Please continue to post BJs videos! I love your videos, especially with little Rosey in them. And I am ordering your books. Thank you. BTW: My horrible inflammation problems have gone away with the KETO diet. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and for years suffered from very swollen ankles, but no more. Sugar and wheat products were the culprit!

@@sandyconcepcion7099 You do not need a membership to just walk into BJ's to shop. However as a non-member, you will have to pay a 20% surcharge on what you buy. I believe they also have a one day pass.

I've hsd flyers come in the msil for a deal on memberships.
I almost forgot....BJs takes manufacturer's coupons. You have to watch for the multiple items because you have to use a single coupin per upc, but still. It's been great.

BJ’s will still honor the sale price since the sale tag was still displayed on products. (as in the Stoney-field yogurt) Snap a picture on your phone and show the cashier before you ring out. Might need a manager approval but still fair since it misleads shoppers! Thanks for all your information guys. Much appreciated:)

The Finlandia butter is so flavorful, you need to buy some! It is grassfed and I have resd that it also contains Vitamin K2 due to the extreme Northern latitude of the farms. You won't regret purchasing this!

Love the BJ’s video! Not everyone has Costco and it’s a good alternative. I’m unlucky enough to have moved to an area with ZERO warehouse shopping but lucky enough to live an hour away in either of two directions from places with all three. Once I get my vaccine, I’ll be back to my monthly shopping trips!
GREAT VIDEO! Happy you did one on BJs (but you need to do more!). We're members of Sam's, CostCo, and BJs - we DO find a lot more healthy (and Kosher) items at BJs - and the sizes are MUCH more geared to our use and space. The prices tend to be lower - or at least competitive with the other warehouse shops. They have REALLY good discount e-coupons on their app, too. I was actually a bit apprehensive, but you are clearly pleasantly surprised by BJs, and we BJs members are happy!
Thanks Bobby and Brad! We have been BJ's members for years. Just got a Costco here 3 years ago. But ours does not have the items other locations do. So we stick with BJ's.

Many years ago there were BJs Wholesale in Chicago area. My father had a membership through work. Or perhaps it was in Central Illinois while I was in college 🤔, late 80s/early 90s. Wasn’t around for long but was prior Sam’s Club & Costco.

You have to shop for specific things at each place...some prices are cheaper at BJ’s where other things can be cheaper at Costco or Sams Club

Thanks for the video. I honestly did not know BJs was only an east coast store. I always wondered why you never did a BJs video when you were in Chicago. I’ve been a BJs member since 2013 and I buy many of the items you showed on this video. I’m excited to see more BJs videos combined with the Costco videos. I actually got a Costco membership last year (before the pandemic) because I started binge watching your videos and was interested in all the options. I have to agree some prices at Costco are cheaper than BJs, though.

OMG! I saw this and clicked right away! I love Costco (and feel it's better!), but it's much further than BJS! I do love that they carry the Verde 100% grass fed ground beef here!! Such a great price! And with a coupon! And they have curbside pick up!! Thank you for doing this!
We have a BJ's where I live here, however I have to say that I gladly drive the hour and a half each way to Costco since in my opinion it blows BJ's way out of the water (and I am a member of both)...

I use BJ's only because like someone mentioned..they do have some items in smaller sizes.
Love BJ s load up coupons on the membership card. LOVE IT..my hubby does the shopping and hates clipping coupons. Well stocked shelves great deals on home and garden & seasonal items.

Yep! The prices at BJs are sometimes higher than Costco and Sam’s! I have all 3 memberships and plan to keep them all because 1 warehouse carries some stuffs other warehouses dont

Took me a few days to get to this post, been real busy up here with the snow , clearing hydrants and stand pipes, not to mention the people heating with old kerosene heaters and leaving the gas oven open , stuff you don't have to worry about in florida... Thanks there is a BJs a little further than Costco ... After seeing this. I think it will be worth the trip.

BJ Wholesale is probably one of the best companies to own. They paid down their debt from greater than 4 x times EBITA to less than .98 x times EBITA. In layman’s terms their debt used to be 4 times their earnings and now their debt is about 1 times their earnings. That is huge for a company to reverse that metric over time. I am a big fan of the stock and the companies governance. I expect this to company to do comparable to that of Costco over time.

Costco’s price for Kerrygold butter blocks is $12.99 in Ohio. I remember when it was $8.99, but it hasn’t been that price for a long time. Was just there yesterday & it’s the only butter I buy.

Love BJs they just got two here in michigan ..I knew about them because of my family lives in the Boston area and my cousins wife turned me on to one And someone came into my work and sold me two memberships for 40 bucks ..I gave one to my friend she likes their mountain ice water 40 pack for 4.99 which I think it way more at other bulk warehouses. I’m 28 y o and always looking for the best quality foods within my budget but doing so entirely on my own lol. So glad you’ve covered kerrygold butter and stony field as some of the best brands available and good bang for your buck! I live among family who are stubborn and constantly downplaying my intelligence etc. no matter how mundane my input is, but I’ve noticed they’ve also followed suit and began purchasing the items I typically use including the Kerry gold butter and stony field yogurt. Bobby, Publix just opened their new GreenWise grocery story on Las Olas Blvd, in Fort Lauderdale. It’s a combo of a Publix customer service and WholeFoods. We went this weekend. Small, but nice! Check it out!

Great vid! If you get the app you can load the coupons easily. I know when covid started they automatically applied coupons at checkout so the book was no longer needed..not sure if they still doing that though...love BJ’s!

BJ's is the best for me because it where I can get too. Costco is 60 miles away from me BJ's is literally 6 miles from my house. My family has shopped BJ's better than 35 years in Massachusetts and Georgia 😊

Applegate is owned by Hormel so just something to keep in mind with Applegate. They sold out to Hormel which opposed GMO labeling back in 2010+.
