- It was a good week, mistakes were made but, I still choose to include it in this video as i'm sure it happens to all of us sometime or another and I feel its more realistic this way.

GF Pumpkin chocolate chip muffins:
1 cup sugar
1cup pumpkin puree
2 eggs
3/4 cup oil
mix well add
1 1/2 cups gf flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
chocolate chips
mix well and bake at 350 for 18 minutes.
You're a riot Giselle! You almost recorded yourself....recording yourself...while writing a script that you were saying! LOL Careful you might get stuck in an infinite time loop recursively recording yourself! Like if you get in between two mirrors!!! LOL (sorry I'm just a goof today and your videos always make me smile, today this one made me laugh out loud! God's Peace dear one)
I love that things like golf carts, washers and dryers, etc. are shared. It's so expensive for individual familes to purchase these items. ( Bonus fabric and treats are also pretty special.)

Seeing the beautiful gladioli takes me way back to my childhood. My grandfather used to grow them and would let us harvest bouquets to give to our teacher on the first day of the school year. Wonderful memories. 🤗🦋❤

I cannot watch the video once the singing starts. I have to close my eyes , and my heart and soul gets lifted to a glorious place that the voices take me to. There is such wonderful harmony and the tones between the male and female voices are perfect.

Not sure why, but the song at the end got me curious. I suddenly realized that despite having sung it regularly for most of my 50+ years on Earth, I had no idea what Kumbaya actually meant.
I had a vague idea it might mean something along the lines of, "Times are hard but we shall overcome."
Nope!
Now I think about it, the actual meaning makes much more sense.
Even the puppy is happy!

I think you need to write a gluten-free cookbook. I know I would love many of the recipes, especially the pastries you made about a month ago. They had my mouth watering.
Watching that tyne-reel header going the rounds there reminds me of harvest on our place years ago. Pleasant memories. as always, excellent video. The smoke in Montana has been horrible. I live close to Flathead lake where many people lost homes to the fires, my children were evactuated. So how many people are in your community, it seems so peaceful. Also I have heard pumpkin puree is excellent to help with dogs constipation.

We’re getting smoke here in Michigan from the western fires. That’s extremely rare.
Also from Montana and other than a month early pretty much used to living with smoke this time of year. God bless our firefighters that are working hard to save life and property and God bless Giselle for making my Saturday WONDERFUL😇 retired firefighter

Pineapple cores are great to give to teething babies. Sweet and cold. It keeps them occupied and happy. Used them on my babies, who are now 40 and 38 years old. 🥰
I use extra leavenng when I use gluten free flour.... I eagerly await your videos and always enjoy them!

Love this video. The footage of the combines is wonderful. The colonies around us will usually have five to six combines to a field. A wonderful servile sight. Unfortunately this year we have been hit hard with a drought. 😔

Although I live in California now, my growing up years were in North Dakota. I love the wheat harvesting and all the FRESH items that go into your diet everyday. I think I could almost smell the dill heads and pumpkin muffins from here! Blessings to you and your family and thank you ❤️ for bringing a little “home” to my life.

Hi Giselle, not pro baker or a chef but I have great success adding a bit more rice flour or what ever your glute free four is. I find that when I making gluten free pumpkin or zucchini muffins or cakes they won't rise up if they are to moist. Thank you for your video and sharing a glimpse into your life. Over the last short while your video's have helped me to have a better understanding of the colony that has moved into my community. I have found that my life is not that different from theirs I am hard working and self sufficient and have first God at the center of my life then my family. They are hard working and self sufficient and have God at the center of their life and then family their family. I have noticed there is not a lot of conversation with many women from the colony but that is ok I can respect someones suspicions about me, us. We will build a mutual relationship over time. I love the bake goods sold at the market.
I really like that our family favourite is also pumpkin chocolate chip muffins and that ours have to also be gf and that darn recipe Always works Take Care

Gluten-Free Baking Classics. But go by her suggestions for certain blends for particular types of things. Worth the trouble! She understands the science/ chemistry behind GF baking and improved my greatly. ( I did not care for her non baking book. Unbiblical premises about grains etc, but I respect her knowledge and helpfulness in the book I referenced. ) hope that helps!!!! Keep seeking the Lord first and foremost, and He will direct your path. Blessings!

I'm glad that Mennonites do share their patterns because I am able to find modest dresses because of that. I like to wear cape dresses and jumper dresses that are a little bit like yours even though I am not an Anabaptist.
