Vlog #31 cleaning shop offices, dentist and snow!!

- We are finally ready to clean the offices, move in and get that job out of the way it has been a long time coming and its always nice when we get to cross something else off of our list.
We got snow this week and I absolutely love it, its just beautiful and winter is definitely my favourite season after autumn though.

Gosh! All that hands and knees mopping only to have heavy foot traffic all over it. That would be frustrating! Have you ever tried a steam mop? They are amazing! They literally use boiling steamy water to mop. No chemical cleansers. Then you just pop the mop pad into the washer afterwards. You and the ladies ought to put in a request for one, just to try it out. Some of them even have a handheld steamer that would make cleaning that hood in the kitchen so much easier. It will loosen everything up, and make it that much easier to clean.
yeah we have heard of them before and we do use a lot mops mops then we used to but, the kitchen gets too much traffic to always use a mop and those hard to reach corners are easier to get to :)

I love the flooring in the bathroom you cleaned and was wondering if you knew what name it is and color? I think it looks so durable and I am looking for a easy clean but must be durable flooring.

I hear you on changing a bedroom wall color...when I was about 14 I had my walls painted dark brown. My own oldest daughter in her time insisted on deep red. Need I note that these color whims were outgrown after a few years just like your green walls.
I was going through green and pink faze that I hate now but, it lasted from 14 till the age of 23 so not bad it did its time and I had it full of holes as I wasn't the best at hanging things man I laugh when I think about it.

I never see the men in the colony doing anything. The women work so very hard. What’s up!!
At what age do the ladys stop doing the back breaking work?
I heard her say on another video 17-45 the women work in the community kitchen, bakery, cleaning, specialty assignments, greenhouse and field. 46 and up tend to the children while the mothers and sisters do the community work.
Thank you for your Vlogs, a view of unity, simplicity and joy in your colony. I'm curious about the colonies dependence on dental and medical assistance, particularly concerning child birth and care, and care for the elderly--cradle to grave health care. I assume that the community must rely on hospital, nursing homes, and medical clinics. Who and how does the colony cover these expensive? Insurance? Public assistance? Here's a copy of a comment from one of viewer that you did not respond to, so I'm also following up on it..."if someone from the Colony wanted to become a Dentist or Dental Nurse, or a technician of orthodontics.... would that be an option?" By the way, are you related to the Waldners on another Vlog,? Wanda Waldner, I believe, is her name. I know this is a bit long. Sorry....
Oh my I missed that comment that someone left but, nobody has ever showed an interest in any of those careers so I'm not even sure but, I don't think we could. As for health care system the colony pays for that but, health care in Canada is free so there is also that.
I'm wondering if we're thinking of the same Wanda?

On our nightly walk I bent my husband’s ear all about your video’s and what I’ve read about Hutterite’s. He was very interested. We lived in Germany for a total of 8 yrs on 2 different assignments. So I can sometimes follow a lil of your banter. Sooo jelly of your snow!
My question is about the wildlife in your area, as I studied wildlife science at Uni.
So are there bears or wild boar? Any venomous snakes where you are in the summer? We could never be so free to be constantly barefoot here in the swampy part of Southeast Texas.

Wildlife around here nope no poisonous snakes we only have garden snakes harmless things, also deer, coyotes, wolves and sometimes a brown bear travels through our woods but, never sticks around for long.
Oh I forgot to add no we don't have wild boars not even one. 😊

How many guys work in the shop is it a fairly big operation?Do you guys still eat and have church at home because of covid?We have had 3 huge snowstorm this year already not used to having had this much snow at this time of year already.
I want your snow.. in my opinion we don't have enough for this time of year. Yes unfortunately we have to eat at home and I don't like it hopefully it will end soon. Most of our guys work in the shop except those that work in the field.
I noticed that, while you were painting your room, you wore a black blouse instead of a white blouse. Any reason?
It was actually just a t-shirt I didn't want to get paint on my blouse..we don't go outside when wearing one.

What do you use for washing windows? Any tips or tricks?
we usually use drinking water to wash windows and no soap so that there are no steaks after that we go over it with a window cleaner spray.
does anyone in your colony ever get braces ? ps I don't care for the dentist either ..
Why do all the guys have different offices
They all have different jobs that requires it
Yes I would have many many questions but, realistically, with so much work that you manage to do, to bother you with millions of (perhaps even somewhere else answered) questions would take too much of your precious time. So just one here: Were the (old) offices not good or why the moving, or was it expanding of the business, necessary reconstruction..? Sorry that are men's questions, just ignore no need to answer.
what I should have done is included a clip of the offices, they were small, cramped and a bit dingy to top it of we didn't even have enough for everyone that needed one to have one some shared an office which is not always ideal especially it its so small a space.
Lol y’all could open up the Best cleaning business and make so much money 🤪

yes we drive (not me anyways not yet). we usually clean when everyone is available to help out as we have big spaces to clean and as from my hair its short.

I guess thats something that changes from house to house but, yes they do help us out when we need it even if it's just something small and they also clean the shops. 😊
