- This is the final autumn vlog before we start getting into winter and Christmas content. I hope you enjoy. sending you lots of love.

White Candy
4 cups white Sugar
2 cups clear syrup.
1 cup honey
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup water
4 egg Whites
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup butter
1 cup jujubes or almonds (more if desired)
-Boil to hard ball stage (Sugar, syrup, honey, Salt & Water)
Beat egg whites until from peaks form Pour I cup of hot Syrup over egg whites, beating Constantly (about 10mins)
-Cook remaining Syrup until brittle (315°) Pour remaing hot Syrup over meringue beating constantly until mixture is very thick
-Add Vanilla & butter, beat until thick again add Ju Jubes, shape into logs and cut bite sized peices.

If I'm not mistaken, 'On the Banks of Plum Creek' is part of the little house series. I could be wrong though. It has been almost 50 years since I read them after all.

Pumpkin is good for dogs. I'm giving you a receipt for cooking for dogs.
Preheat oven to 350.
3 cups of oatmeal.
1 cup pumpkin.
3 lager eggs
Put the oatmeal and pumpkin and eggs into a bowl and mix.
Put in cookies sheet and bake for 20-30.
My dogs love pumpkin cookies.
I put a little spoonful of pumpkin puree on my kitty’s food every day!
I love cleaning the pumpkins and harvesting their seeds and baking them and added by flavors to make snacks. They are so yummy. I prefers, coconut sugar baked on mine. My spouse like red chili powder and ranch seasoning.
Also congrats to your parents for 54 years... wow!!! That is an amazing blessing.
Fall time is my favorite time of the year I love September through the beginning of January best time of the year, I hate bugs, humidity and heat above about 80 degrees Fahrenheit
My fiancé craved his first pumpkin this year and he had a blast. We let our dog eat some of the pumpkin too but made sure she didn’t get the seeds. My brother’s dog ate the seeds and they now have pumpkins all in their yard. Lol
Also, I’m kind of sad I’m finally caught up on your logs. I listen every day at work. I quite enjoy your vlogs.
That sunset is beautiful. My grandfather was in the Navy, he used to tell us: “Red at night sailor’s delight. Red in the morning, sailors set warning”

although I could not see everyone around the table very well....just a light blurr :) it was nice to see you all seated together! Today, people don't sit at the table for meals and its not good! No socializing at meals means not knowing people who live in the same house/family! I like to see family's together.

So interesting! We used to live in the Netherlands. On the 11th of November children would decorate lanterns and go door to door, sing little songs, and get sweets. Interesting to see how cultures and traditions are intertwined. 🙂
I’m reading Little House on the Prairie also!! I love them! Those people had nothing, but they were thankful for what they had!! ❤
Laura Engalls Wilder is buried not far from my home in Southern MO. Her house is here where whe wrote the Little House books.
I like to watch your videos, it's good to know there are youth groups that have nice get togethers. It's a pitty that they don't like to be filmed. Specially your brothers, they should be proud to show how nice your community is.
Perhaps you should keep the seeds of the pumpkin and roast them. Nice snack.

Tuesdays sunset was beautiful . I don’t care for any kind of raw fish. So I wouldn’t like the sushi. Oh yum those Boston cremes looked delish!. Is there any chance at all that I could get that candy recipe? I would love to make it without the gels. The lantern walk is really neat. I’ve never heard of anything like that. My grandmother introduced me to a local author, Janette Oke. Her stories were placed in the Canadian prairie. I remember reading them to my grandfather during his last days, he loved the books. 🙏🙇♀️
We give our dogs pumpkin and green beans, that have been canned.
The color of the jacket is perfect for you! Perhaps a dress in those shades next spring.
Laura Ingalls Wilder's series is my favorite series, I even re-read them as an adult every few years

I used to volunteer for a food pantry. They still know me there; they would probably take me back. But I loved the Thanksgiving prep for those in need. So much fun
You did well with the pumpkin face it made me smile 😊 that’s how I grew up we didn’t celebrate Halloween but did the innocent things like craving a pumpkin. That neon color of the jacket didn’t go with your complexion anyway , it turned out pretty ❤and looked so nice and warm . And and in my opinion you really missed a lot by not reading Laura Ingalls Wilder ,I’ve read them for myself and to my children and now to my grandchildren. They are a good read when you want to be transported to a simpler time .

You should have saved the seeds and roasted them. Freshly roasted pumpkin seeds are a really nice snack.

It’s easier to add a lit candle to a pumpkin if you cut a hole in the bottom of the pumpkin instead of the top. A bottom hole also makes the pumpkin more stable on flat surfaces. Great video as always!

We had a chicken that would take baby bunny and baby ducks and baby goose and kittens and lay down on the baby farm animals. She would run after you if take babies away from she. Put she would not lay on her eggs at all. My dad told us let her sat or lay on the babies.

I love seeing you upholding the traditional beliefs and practices of your community. In my mind at least, those things are absolutely essential to building and maintaing the sort of strong and abiding sense of community you all enjoy. That's a rare and prescious thing these days. I glad you don't take it for granted.
The pink thread is a type of nylon that doesn't dye with dyes designed for cotton. Weird huh? I dye clothing and yarn so I have also run into that. It looks amazing though. I'm glad you can wear it now because it looks like it fits you very well.

I've never seen divinity (that's' the white candy) made with candy pieces I've only ever made it with dried fruit. I also need to say I absolutely LOVE the scenery there and hope to one day get to see it live and in person.

The dessert you had at the canning party looked like a favorite dessert of mine - banana split dessert. Basically it has a graham cracker crust at the bottom and then layers of banana slices, fudge sauce, ice cream, whipped cream, etc.. I haven’t had it for years, so there might be a few more things in it that I’m not remembering. Whatever yours was, it looked delicious! 😊

Pumpkin is good for Kona. The raw seeds chase intestinal worms away, if she has any. I love seeing her. it's obvious you are her person and she loves you very much. That bond is incredible. I like it when it's colder too but not bitter cold. Southern Colorado was 7° F yesterday. That is unseasonably cold for here. We usually don't see those temperatures till January or February.
it is so cold here today only -7C but with the wind it's quite cold, one has to get used to the cold again :)

As a Mennonite we don't do halloween. we do Thanksgiving. We don't do Christmas. We do have a big Christmas dinner. My husband is Amish. Amish don't do Halloween. Amish do Thanksgiving and Christmas.Amish give gifts out on Christmas when Mennonite give gifts out start on the 1 of December -25 of December. It hard to raise our kids in the Mennonite life and Amish life.
