You are inspiring! May I offer some advice, your cutting board slides a little when you chop all your delicious food. One way to stop it sliding is to put a damp towel under it. Happy chopping! With love from Australia
Even a damp paper towel will stabilize the cutting board, works for me!
I appreciate your tip. I have been using a piece of the rubbery shelf liner and think the damp towel will work much better for me.

Watching you brings back the best memories of my two boys-and I was pregnant with my third like you, they were about the same ages as your boys when I was pregnant with my daughter..I remember doing all the things I could while working full time. I wish I could go back in time and relive these days . I’m literally tearing up watching you..I lost my middle son at age 19, 3 years ago. I live in the past so much and I hope I get to do it all over again someday. Maybe that’s my little piece of heaven that awaits me beyond the veil. I’m here for now to help my other two through... I'm so sorry for the loss of your son. We lost our daughter Shanna 5 years ago October 8th...she was 37. We were in the process of adopting our daughter Payton. The adoption was finalized just 9 days after Shanna's death. Payton is 6 now and has been a blessing but we miss Shanna so much. We're older parents but she keeps us hopping.

Here in Hawaii we call mother in law suites "ohanas". They are the perfect rental for young people. Often a friendship forms between the tenant and landlords given the closeness. I can totally envision a farm hand staying in that cottage. So beautiful!
I had one of those amazing craftsmen...when I had to redo our home after flooding...he even made me a picture frame and tall side table out of old barn wood...from my husbands family farm...such a amazing man....

Oh, as you spoke to us I could see your bedroom in the background on the first floor. That’s great for when your seventh child arrives. Will make your life so much easier and serene. Thank goodness 😅 you have so much accomplished before the baby’s arrival. Everything looks lovely. I know children can get in your hair and can be quite a handful that we don’t get to view. But, compare to other children I see on RUclips who are being raised with so much child psychological jargon, your children actually are quite well-behaved. You can tell the love and respect they have for you and your husband. Thank you for sharing these charming moments.

If you're looking for a sit down video idea, could you talk about how you and Luke evolved as a couple? I would assume you had the "natural itch" as a younger person, but did you ever see yourself as a homebirthing, mini-homesteading, homeschooling family? What conversations did you and Luke have while dating? How did the two of you get to this place together? I would assume it was a desire on both of your hearts.

My goodness Lisa… You amaze me with your energy level this far along in your pregnancy. I love seeing how your children all dive into helping …even little Daniel was helping the milk COME OUT FASTER by lifting the jug….LOL!!! Whether that was a “welcomed” help or not…HE enjoyed it! You found a diamond in the rough with that builder! I'm in Northeast Ohio and I'm having a terrible time finding quality craftsmen. I'm 27wks along with my 4th, so I'm quite limited in my capabilities for now. Anyway, everything looks amazing! I can't wait to see the finished touches!
The cottage looks lovely! The stone path is perfect. Seeing your barn all lit up made me think of Christmas, one year in my parents barn they held a Christmas Eve service with a few calves and sheep. Everyone sat on hay bales, it was perfect. Thank you for sharing your homestead Lisa!

I think she said that they don’t get enough cream to make butter. They use the cream for cooking/coffee, etc.

I make my rice in the instant pot with bone broth. Two cups rice and two cups bone broth. Use the rice button and it comes out perfect every time. So easy!

Hey Lisa! I know you love to ferment for nutritional purposes. Have you ever soaked your rice overnight? Much easier on the gut and decreases the antinutrients. Just put the amount of rice you want in a bowl with enough water to cover and add a tablespoon or so of an acid (vinegar, whey, yogurt, you choose)! Tastes so good when you cook it the next day with bone broth!

The little cottage looks fantastic! Years ago I stayed in a very tiny farmhouse turned Bed-and-Breakfast in upstate New York. The stairway going up to the bedroom was SO little...barely enough room for one person. But the way that place was done, white walls, simple pine floors with a coat of wax on top.....your little cottage took me back there for sure today. I love everything y'all have done-it IS so much more inviting now. I have a feeling y'all will have lots of guests in the upcoming months. Take care and thanks as always for another great video. PS-I'm picturing the bedroom floor painted white with a stencil design painted in the same blue as the outside of the cottage. White bedlinens with a beautiful blue and white quilt. I always have bought older Homes with good bones but basically, the worst house in the neighborhood but when I finished, my homes ha e arguably been in the top 20 homes in my area of Dallas.
