How far off is your view with the camerap off to one side? I have a 2009, so I was able to install the camera right in the center, but I have a friend who has the same issue with light in the center. I know it has to throw the view off a bit, but is there any worry of hitting something with it offset?

The power comes from the reverse light where he taps it with the red. The other is the ground. The cable he routes to the front is just the signal for the video.
