Enjoyed the Mitch Hedberg joke
Personally, I like tucking a t-shirt in. With the right pants, it looks good tucked in by itself.
Hey Bill, I recently discovered your page while researching the SENE Studios athletic suits. Love your page. I’m 6 feet tall/280 and haven’t worn suits since prepandemic days. Most days I’m either wearing sweats and a tee while working from home or jeans and a casual shirt when I’m at the office. As comfortable as that may be, I miss dressing up! Thanks for giving big guys content to consume!
Glad I could be of help.
You and I are pretty similar. 6ft 2-1/2 and 285 (I gained a few lbs over the winter)
And I gained a lot over lockdowns! I miss the days of fitting into a 44 regular.
Gig line? I haven't heard or used that phrase since sending a boot recruit looking for one on my 2nd ship. Lol
Oh damn. They got you.
I had my ass handed to me cause my belt was on backwards.
Since when do men not have the accessory options of earrings, makeup, necklaces, brackets purses, rings? I'd bet a nickel if you started using all that you could bring the look mainstream. Maybe you could also popularize the Lady Godiva look. Also dude I think you should popularize Liberace grade belt buckles.
I gotta disagree on the no polo shirts with a Jacket or Blazer I wear it all the time I think it looks good especially for bigger guys…..
Don’t tell anyone… but I do too when I’m in a hurry. The look itself is not bad. But the floppy collar doesn’t stay in place and once it gets out of place, the look is gone. I have a polo with a firmer collar. That stays in place, looks a lot better.
@@TheDadBod Oh yea I buy my polos a size larger than normal so I can button all three buttons and the collar stays in place real good all day with a jacket that is, kind of a classic look I think.
Great video Bill since I already liked and subscribed I don’t have to reveal how many of these I am guilty of 😂well done in the growth of your channel.
Have you seen the belts that come with two pieces that tighten around the side loops of the pants only, so no buckle or front of the belt? What’s your take on those?
I’m conflicted on them. They would probably help with a suit that has recently got too big, but I don’t see much use on it for jeans. A belt helps to separate your top half and bottom half. It doesn’t seem like much but the lack of a belt may have an adverse effect of making you seem taller or shorter, and not the way you want.
However, there are some people who HATE belts. For them, it may be useful. I bought one for my brother a couple years back. He wears it sometimes. He hates belts.
@@TheDadBod yeah I found them upon seeing an advert for them to be quite ridiculous to be honest, dare I say I would rather wear suspenders :)
Suspenders are an age old classic that still looks good today.
So should us big guys not buy relaxed fit jeans?
I would suggest trying some straight leg or tapered leg jeans. Relaxed tends to be baggy which makes you look bigger than you are. Slimmer clothing (not skinny) makes bigger guys look nicer and more slim.
@@TheDadBod Sweet, Thanks for the pointers Bill.
Any time
What about a hoodie with a sports jacket?
Hoodies with sports jackets makes me cry. LOL
@@TheDadBod What about a mesh football jersey with a dinner jacket?
Might be acceptable if the team made it to the super bowl within the previous 2-3 weeks. LOL
Bill, this will be an odd curiosity question on my part. It seems that all the gentleman’s channels have the same topic releases either on the same day or within two days. I was wondering if this was a result of something? Thank you kindly
I know many of the big channels focus on trends and make videos based on that. It would probably help my channel if I did, but with work, all of the kids and all of their after school activities, and the channel; I don’t have the time. I plan my videos out months in advance. I’m planned through early February right now.
