      I have three suits on order for videos in the near future.
      Working on Black Lapel. Working on another Sene with some of their clothing options. And I did a negative review of a suit. They asked me to give them another chance (like the kingsmanshoes). They offered to send me one but to make sure I get the same treatment as everyone else, I had a friend order it for me (like I did with kingsmanshoes). So we’ll see how it goes. I’m hoping to get those out in the next few months. Depending on if I need any remakes or adjustments.

    Great video thanks. Just subscribed to your channel. Thinking about buying a tweed sportscoat. But they are not that common in Amsterdam which is where I live.

    Hey man, new subscriber here. Been watching a few of your videos, and I really like the way you manage your channel and your reviews. Got sick and tired of a few of the classic menswear 'influencers'... fake germans and others quite full of themselves. So your channel is a nice breath of fresh air.
    Are you still happy with your My Suit Taylor products? I'm thinking of getting a couple of suits from them using the measurements from a suit that was made for me. Cheers and great job!

      I try to stay down to earth. Making videos is my hobby so that helps. I appreciate that.
      I am still happy with my MST suits. I wear them fairly regularly.

      I gained some weight over the winter. Couldn’t fit in my suits as well. Been working on the elliptical and drinking slim fast for breakfast.
      Thanks for noticing.

    Do you just ask your tailor to do the custom text stitching?

    • @TheDadBod
      @TheDadBod  Год назад +1

      No, most custom suit places will do the monogram.

    Interesting content but not a fan of those offshore made-to-measure outfits because you can‘t assume that they will use top-quality fabrics. A bit heavy on the selling as well.

      Let’s put it this way. Most companies give a referral $ for each referral. MST keeps it if anyone needs adjustments to their suit which many people need for their first online suit. Which means I don’t get many referral $s.
      I would benefit with suggesting another company. But yet, I don’t. I still suggest MST for this price range because it’s one of the best for this price.

      @@TheDadBod If a new suit does need alterations, either initially or later on, does the suit get sent back overseas?

    • @TheDadBod
      @TheDadBod  Год назад

      I don’t know their policy on alterations later on but if it needs them upon receipt, I think no. I think they remake it. But I recommend checking their policy to be sure.

      @@TheDadBod Thanks but my question was whether it gets sent overseas for alterations. Where are the suits made, by the way? Thanks.

    • @TheDadBod
      @TheDadBod  Год назад

      Overseas, nearly all of the online suit makers make them overseas.

    I dunno Bill, Texas gets pretty cold especially North, West and the Panhandle. South and Central Texas has its share of cold too. Rio Grande Valley is Pretty much Hell on Earth though lol.

    A dad “bod” is not necessarily an obese “bod”

    • @TheDadBod

      I know. I’ve said in many of my videos that my goal is to help men of ALL heights and sizes. I’ve never given a description of what a “dad bod” is.
