Hi Avi, I can’t speak for Brian, but if you ask me you should wear what you feel most comfortable with. I will say that you will get many looks from family, friends, etc, and it can make you uncomfortable at first, but after a while it subsides. I believe being well dressed sends a message to everyone you meet, and in my opinion you should never feel out of place if you are comfortable being you. Take care!
What Javi said! There is also something to be said for dressing for the situation. While it's always better to be overdressed as opposed to underdressed, I would always try to "read the room", so to speak.
Looks 1 and 2 are my favorite! Navy and grey are a timeless combo, and the texture of the tie in the second look complements the suit really well. Generally I am not a huge fan of wearing suit jackets as separates, but the third look is definitely an exception. Congrats on the launch of your collection with MAB, the grey flannel suit is definitely one of my favorites!
I’ve got to get a gray flannel suit. It always looks great. It’s great to see different looks with the same suit. Also even your classic looks never look boring. Amazing video.
Well that was like reading my wish list ;) I ordered a custom made three piece flannel suit (my first flannel suit btw) in mid-grey just two weeks ago and I was looking for some style inspiration. That last outfit is something I will definitely keep in mind. Thank you again for great inspirational content. You are awesome Brian!
The last one looks really warm. And I've really been waiting for this video. Hard to pick a favourite, but #3 seems completely new on the channel, so that one
I couldn't expect better! I recently fell in love with Grey flannel, this is so classy, warm and versatile Your last look is absolute fire, as the others! Well done as always!
Loved that coat in the last outfit, I definitely need to get myself a doublebreasted one for next winter. Not sure about loafers in "full on winter mode", I'd swap them with the boots from outfit #4. Great video as always!
Always thought that the sense of being fashionable, to a certain degree is quite inherent in one's psyche. After watching your channel & content for sometime, am convinced that this taste can be cultivated by a keen mind. Am glad to have subscribed to your channel. Keep up the good work.
Yes! This is the other one I've been waiting for, Brian. Definitely my next suit purchase, though I'm torn between solid and chalkstripe. I like all the looks, but that tie in the second look was the hero piece to me. Any chance you'll get one like that in the shop? Thanks, as always.
Looking very sharp with a relaxed edge. I would choose most of these combinations as I think they are timeless and I go for that look. Investment pieces with style.
Hello Brian !! Always great ideas!! Thanks. I have already asked you for advice of what to pack for a summer vacation in a very elegant mountain resort. My usual summer vacations have been by the sea but this summer is totally different and I think I’ll have to keep my linen shirts at home I need your help. Thanks once again
Hi Brian, the more textured ties made me curious about something. Do you ever do different tie knots for different outfits/occasions, or do you just have a go to?
Hi Brian, I love your videos and your style. As an idea for one of your next videos, perhaps you could talk about he different types of fabric to make a suit. What are the differences between Shark skin, bird's eye, Hopsack, Flannel and when or what occasions to wear them? I am so confused. I need to buy a suit and I have most of the details sorted out except for the fabric.
It will be interesting to see what emerges sartorially speaking from the wreckage of the office shutdowns. How much will the bar be lowered by so many working from home at length? I have always been comfortably counter-culture but never anticipated that a well-fitted suit and tie might become the new apex. I will enjoy standing out for the right reasons. Great looks as usual, especially the brown shirt.
Hello Brian. The flannel reminded me of Spier and Mackay. A Canadian company. I find their quality excellent value. Are you familiar with them? I don’t think I’ve seen their clothing on your channel. Thanks
Yessir! If you don't see the option in the process, just email shop@hespokestyle.com and we'll be able to take care of anything extra or customizations you would like. We plan to roll out a 3D configuration tool soon. Thanks, as always, for chiming in.
@@hespokestyle everything I guess, what’s its functions beside of make the vest look more personality, how to fold it into the pocket because I saw all of your square pockets are not in a fixed shape, etc. I love your variety of pocket square but I don't have much knowledge/info about it yet and I would love to know more about it on your channel.
Hey Brian, would you combine a silver colored tie bar with a golden Watch or golden cufflinks? Or silver colored cufflinks with a golden watch? Or for more casual outfits whats your opinion on pairing a silver or gold necklace with a gold or silver watch? (would love to see a video on jewlery for men) keep up the great content and thank you for your advice!
@@hespokestyle Thank you very much for your fast reply. I live in a rainy city, so I guess the raincoat will work great. Thanks for this and all the help you provide through your channel.
Hi Brian love the fit! What inches are the leg opening for those pants do you consider a leg opening of 13inches on a suit to small/tight? Or should I go for 14 inch leg opening?
DO you think a navy blue suit or a grey suit is better for a first MTM/ bespoke suit? Maybe a grey suit with a navy blazer or a navy suit with grey pants etc.?
Not Brian but if you don't mind my two cents: IMO the gray still has that "corporate" connotation for me so I chose navy as my first bespoke. Honestly though, you can't go wrong either way as they are both very versatile and would fit in to any situation really well! - Han
Hi, I have a bespoke flannel suit, and I want to pairr that flannel jacket with other brand's flannel pants (not a bespoke, but in a department store) Obviously, it won't have the same texture as the jacket, but is it okay to wear a different brand's flannel pants with a flannel suit jacket?
Brian, what do you think of a double breasted gray flannel suit? I want my next suit to be double breasted so I'm thinking I can get both the flannel and DB in one suit-- Mr. Astaire approves.
6 to 4 double breasted grey suit, blue shirt with French cuffs, playful cufflinks, red power tie, topped off with navy overcoat..as compared to your single breasted look.
The grey suit seems to have replaced the navy blue suit, as the "Go to Corporate Suit" during the last decade. Possibly because every "Wannabe" was wearing a dark blue suit, a white barrel cuff shirt along with either a plain blue or red tie, if you were targeting a career in Politics. But I really liked the range of shirts that you presented as alternatives to classic guidelines. Phil.
Hi brian, Is it appropriate to dress formally as a 16 year old boy ?
Should i stick to casual looks instead ?
