POllini helps us in understanding how Debussy, in an original language of his own, anticipated many composers still to come.For instance, the "Spanish" prelude "Puerta del Vino", usually considered as typically impressionist, is here changed in something contrasted, violent and even sometimes aggressive. ❤❤❤

Claudio Arrau is also an expert recording artist who interprets Debussy accurately...Why Pollini never record Rachmaninoff concertos..
