- Florida and Nevada played an elimination game in the 2024 Little League World Series. The winner would advance to play Texas in the United States Championship Game on Saturday. Included within this video is a cool story from Wheels, located after the first inning highlights conclude.

One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

That was a fun game! Epitomizes what LLWS should be about. Lots of balls put in play. Some excellent defensive play. Pitchers throwing strikes. Batters getting hits. Some small ball. Some home runs. A home run robbery. It had it all!
Hats off to Nevada...those walks were just a bad way to start the game. Texas is waiting!!

@@aaronaguilar9172which is crazy considering that even though Florida played 4 days in a row, they managed their pitching pretty well. All pitchers are available Saturday except for Teraj Alexander who is available Sunday. 😱😱😱you don't see that often, most teams that have to climb out of the losers bracket have at least 1 or 2 of their top pitchers unavailable 😅😅

That's a cool story about meeting some Little Leaguers at Yankee Stadium! I actually have a similar story, I was flying out of Prague earlier this month and the kids from the Czech Republic LLWS team just happened to be on the flight at the gate right next to mine, I could tell it was them because they were wearing sweatshirts with the Czech baseball logo and I was like "are you guys the team going to Williamsport?" and they were like "yeah" so I was like "I'll be rooting for you!" Was pretty cool

@@brianmeen2158 can't get to sunday without winning saturday. No choice. US teams don't play this conserved which is why I was surprised that Florida didn't throw their ace till closing for this game. I don't think texas has anything good enough beyond number 2 to throw at Florida.
Nevada should walk away with their heads held high. Best game I've seen out of 2 US teams thus far. They played great, had some really exciting defensive plays and they weren't scared to hit the ball. Hats off to them, and well done Florida.

@@brianmeen2158 nope. no one is beating Taiwan. venezuela is a bit erratic. Japan was weak this year beyond their ace. Japan even beat Venezuela's ace.

and then after the 1st, the rest of the game was chill. That happens quite often in big games. The big innings come at the beginning or the end. I expected this to be a shootout

great game. Still think the winner is on the international side this year but only playing one game anything can happen. Best player is the short stop for venezolano the kid is unreal. All around just fantastic baseball this year and so fun to watch. The catching on every team was amazing this year.

Nevada was a pretty weak team. Was clear the whole tourney it was FLorida and texas. Florida just needs to get those bats woken up like they did the past few games. Now they got their reps
Wonder why they didn't let Teraj Alexander pitch earlier in this llws 🤔🤔 Texas has a better chance of winning than losing. But if Feliciano can stop throwing too many balls, then maybe Florida has a chance at beating Texas.
I think nevada was just weak. Plus, maybe he hasn't done so well in the past. This happens quite a lot in llb. Hawaii threw a small kid in a championship game one time who didn't even pitch in regionals or even states and did fairly well

Last year was amazing! 2022? Not so much. Hawaii mercy ruled Curacao 13-3. Ik if Texas competed against Venezuela they would probably lose but it wouldn't be a disappointing game. 😐😐

These parents yell at any pop fly out that's 50 feet short of the fence like it's a homer right off the bat 😂. I remember when I was 10 I thought any pop fly was going to be a home run too. Most ended up to where the CF never even had to move haha.

Umpire just stands there and lets ball hit his foot. Prevents the runner from advancing to second. Then that runner gets forced out at second next play.
4:48.. was he really out? Looks like the short stop took his foot off the base before he had the ball...
He was way off. That call gets missed all of the time in all leagues, but I’m surprised that it was missed by the umps and coaches. It looked like the runner said, “he was off the bag”.

Sadly, there are probably 3 teams in the international bracket (Taiwan, Venezuela, Japan) better than the entire US bracket this year, imo.
Japan is weak. they have showed that they can't hang with the best of em. If you put Japan vs Texas or Florida, I'd take either of the US teams.

That's how bracket play works. Going through the losers brackets is always harder on your pitching because you play more games
@@brettkuykendall1508 Nevada was in losers bracket and played 4 games total, Florida the only team with 5 wins lol, no other US team has 4, sry but the bracket system they use is flawed, even the international bracket, undefeated Taipei has had to play 4 games.......Texas only playing 3 games is crazy
