Metrojet Flight 9268 was an international chartered passenger flight, operated by Russian airline Kogalymavia (branded as Metrojet) on 31st October, 2015.

Amazing how flat the fuselage hit, because you can see the wings burned in place flat with the forward fuselage with hardly any forward motion.

@@jblue705 the Metrojet crash animation in the Air Crash Investigation/Mayday is totally incorrect.In the actual incident the separated main fuselage impacted the ground upside down.

I was at this airport about 3 weeks before this happened. Security was useless.
I was in Sharm el-Sheikh literally like a day before we was about to be heading home my nan called us and said " yeah look on the news i dont think youll be coming home tomorrow" had another week on holiday really but it was scary at the time

I'll leave a suggestion here: we don't have a good simulation of TAM402, in 1996, a Fokker 100 which was crashed in a residential neighbourhood in Sao Paulo due to thrust reverser opening during takeoff. There were fatalities in the plane and in the ground, and is the 3rd deadliest crash in Brazil (after GOL1907 and TAM3054). The CVR of this flight is in good quality. I would like to see it...

There’s another A321 also caused by bomb on 2016, is Daallo Airlines Flight 159 a Airbus A321-111 carrying 81 people on February 2, 2016 and the bomb hidden in the laptop exploded causing hole in the fuselage and the oxygen masks drop down. The man who put bomb has fell from plane. He’s the one who committed suicide by putting bomb. The plane has safely emergency landed. 1 died, 80 survived, 78 not injured, and 2 injured. The injured people are injured by burn and explosion.

The actual name of that airline is Kogalymavia. That airline had retired after Kogalymavia (Metrojet) Flight 9268 crashed before 2016.

Could you do one on the flight that crashed in San Diego right after take off. it was 1978 or 79. I was in the Navy on the U.S.S. Sperry. We had a guy from the engine-room where I worked barely miss that flight because he caught too many red lights.

That one might be very hard to do. I don't know how he does all those visuals of the planes, but I bet it's much harder when there are two colliding planes involved.

If that happned at full altitude then the good thing is all the ppl on the plane where probable uncouncous and not awake to see there death comming. Just boom out like a light then there just dead.

I agree with the Egyptian take. It was either a short range missile or it was a bad plane because of the tail strike years earlier. A bomb wouldn’t separate the plane so cleanly. Also, you would probably see a bunch of holes in the metal from shrapnel, and I haven’t seen any

Actually, the investigative team from Egypt included members from Russia, France, Germany and Egypt, and they did conclude that it was an attack on Feb 24, you know, once the actual investigation was complete.

ISIS claims any incident so I can never take their claims seriously. Also, Russia would really love to cover up any incompetence in any area they control, such as one of their airlines being faulty. How do you manage to get a bomb aboard today? If that is the case, Egypt is who should be the blame for awful security measures. Either way, RIP to all those passengers, terrible tragedy.

I have a few issues with this video...
Oct 31, 2015 - The crash. Within hours, the initial investigative team outline led by Egypt includes members from France, Germany, Egypt and Russia and states that they will not determine a cause until the moment that the investigation is concluded.
Nov 1, 2015 - France claims it was an attack.
Nov 2, 2015 - Alexander Smirnov, deputy general director of Metrojet, unsupported by the government view, states “The only explainable cause is physical impact on the aircraft.” The head of the Russian aviation agency said it was premature of Metrojet to comment on the possible cause since investigators do not have enough data to reach any conclusions, stating "This kind of talk is... not based on any proper facts,".
Nov 4, 2015 - BBC releases a report stating it was an attack.
Nov 6,2015 - Washington Post states that for over a week "Russia officially continues dismissing “speculation” from Western officials, including President Obama and British Prime Minister David Cameron, that the plane may have been downed by a bomb."
Dec 14, 2015 - Investigation team states that they have not yet concluded that it was an attack, as the investigation is still underway.
Feb 24, 2016 - Egypt President states that the investigation team has concluded it was an attack and releases details.
Keep in mind, initial reports included statements from the co-pilot about the planes degrading condition, there was previous damage from the tailstrike, fear of the "Nightmare in Libya: Thousands of Surface-to-Air Missiles Unaccounted For", and a laundry list of other possible causes which needed to be ruled out.
You've taken the stance that Russian officials were the first to claim that it was an attack, while not mentioning that they were actually refusing to agree with Western claims of an attack, because MetroJet is a Russian airline and they would have had to bring over 40,000 people home without their carry-on luggage, which they did. You have a bias in your video which is contradictory to events and this isn't the first time. You've concluded pilot suicide in the EgyptAir flight when even the NTSB report concluded as "not determined". In this video you've asserted that Egyptian officials, along with the investigators from Germany, France and Russia, are in some conspiracy to cover up the truth when they don't come to a conclusion fast enough for the media. I just don't believe that you're delivering fair and neutral content.

@Ten's Aviation His problem is that it appears that X Pilot is misreporting the facts (whether intentionally or not) and it is causing viewers to believe that Egyptian officials are trying to cover up the fact that it was a terrorist attack.
Ten's, even the NTSB report on Flight 990 concluded as "not determined", this is exactly what I'm talking about.
When the investigating team reports probable cause as not determined then it's exactly that, not determined.
