In the comment section of my last video someone asked me to do the "Courtyard Apocalypse" scene from "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2". It was the most liked comment. A few others asked me to combine it with "Lily's Theme" & "Statues". So I decided to make a medley of these tracks:

I am honestly tearing up in nostalgia.
Years ago I read the hp books so many times, watched the movies so many times, played these songs on the violin, on the piano.
This was my world and every time I hear those tunes it is like the first time I entered the great hall of hogwarts. It feels like I’m finally home.
Time to watch and read all of the hp movies and books again.

It's a shame they had like 5 composers. There is no continuüm in the music, so the audience forget. They should have sticked with 1.
@Abe Gonzalez I love all of these composers and I totally agree. Desplat definitely has some Debussy or even Eric Satie, a lot of atonals which make the music haunting.

When the last movie came out I was 14 and I felt like my childhood was ending, not only because of my age but because a huge part of my childhood (Harry Potter) was also over.
But Harry Potter has never been over. It's always in my heart, just like the little girl who searched for sticks outside that she could use as a magic wand.

This means a lot. This is one of the first Soundtracks I ever loved. These were some of my favorite songs. Now that I love soundtrack music this still holds a special place because it was one of the first. Also Courtyard Apocalypse was the first song I ever arranged for anything.

I think everyone who has read Harry Potter, wants so much to read it again. It’s like, the first time is so amazing, so sad, so beautiful, and no matter how many times you reread it, you can never feel like you did the first time. I think that’s why so many of us have intense nostalgia when we hear the music from the films, or someone says a quote. It’s something that only us can understand, but all of us do.
