This is the simplest and clearest video I have seen on installing drip irrigation. Thank you! Also, I agree with @kitsurubami - a video on the water pipe and timer build and installation - including specific on the special bibs you connect the drip hose to - would be very helpful. Thank you again!
I loved this video.. being a greenhouse junkie what you did was so simple and easy to install I was very impressed! Thank you for the video, you gave me ideas to make some videos on this for my channel. Cheers from Canada!
Thank you for sharing all your information. I made a small aquaponics garden and experienced your problems with the expense of things I thought I needed only to get too many parts.
i have a couple 2.5'x8' beds i have a drip kit. i'm pretty good at diys but the irrigation systems scares me. But this video motivated me to actually go ahead and actually install the system as soon as possible!!! Thank You!
Regine this is awesome👍🏼 I will suggest this to my daughter who will create a bigger garden beginning next spring. I’ll refer to the link from where you ordered it . Thank you very much . 🙏🏼
Well, not entirely alone... I did all the subsoil plumbing for distribution, and those nice headers in the raised beds, but yes Regine did all the drip pipe herself. Thanks for watching and supporting our channel and our family business AsianGarden2Table.com
Regine, a couple of questions: 1. Where did you get the cleaver you use to chop your vegetables? and 2. Why don't you have Kent cook for you and you can comment on the food? That would be fun. -- Also, where are the kids? It's always fun to watch them eat.
I am happy to see you again Regine in You Tube. I want to order some vegetable seeds from you. I watched all your videos before the pandemic. Keep up posting what you do. All your videos are really helpful. How many days it takes for us to recieve if we order seeds. Thank you.
Thank you very much for sharing i am planning to use drip irrigation too. If you don't mind me asking if what is the size of the drip irrigation tube. Is it 1/2?
a tip for rolling out the 500ft drip line roll, unroll from the inside like in video, take the loose end and it pull over a beam that is about 8ft off the ground. place large coil directly underneath beam so pipe comes straight out n over the top. when you pull out more tube the roll will free spin and remove the coils and allow it to lay flatter. works with pex line, electric wires, n other stuff coiled as well
Rainbird is a very good brand. Maybe you can also try rain gardens, miniature bios Wales for veggie growing (saves money on watering). Sustainable garden designs are based on old concepts utilizing the most natural resources, while regenerating the garden. They are miniature ecosystems, perfect for you since you already have rabbits/birds. You’re great at this, and would compliment you so well!!👍
Wow thank u for the simplicity of the explanation. I am new to diy gardening and it can get overwhelming starting out. Please make more videos. How did u make the garden beds and the pipes above as trellises?
Hi Quynnie, you should subscribe to this channel and search some of our older videos for how we constructed our garden beds and overhead trellis systems. We have a smaller kitchen garden at our home that may be a better example for you as a starting point. Thanks for watching and supporting our channel and our family business! AsianGarden2Table.com
I have found out that you need to be careful with the size of the hose and all the different fittings because there are slight differences between manufacturers and if you start mixing them up, then the pieces do not connect correctly and tend to leak a lot.
Looks great! Very clear guide! The only problem I see is those zip-ties aren't UV-stable plastic so depending on how much direct sun they get it's possible they could become brittle and snap
You're not the first to ask... I'll have to go buy some more fittings to shoot the video, I'll put it on my to-do list. Thanks for watching and supporting our channel and our family business AsianGarden2Table.com
Irrigation plumbing is really situation dependant... We are in sandy soil without risk of hard freeze, so everything is shallow and above ground all year. If you have permafrost you'll need to go below the frost line and/or remove / purge the lines for winter.
We are in West Central Florida, Gulf Coast, so we never reach freezing temperatures. However I did install the PVC headers with screw together unions so we can roll up and pull out the entire drip system if necessary for maintenance. Thanks for watching and supporting our channel and our family business! AsianGarden2Table.com
I have a tiny garden in comparison, but found myself watching, and thinking a drip line could still work well with my rain tanks. Explained really well, thank you! (Ps, Would love to see a video on how the other white piping and the timer was set up.)
you have a good very detailed video. by the way where you from? I stumbled your channel while looking for Winged Beans germination. I love to plant our native vegetables from the Philippines. I am now in Canada and still love to plant and I will subscribe to your channel because it's very good and I understand you very well. Congrats on the job well done, i love your big garden...Cheers from Toronto.
NO...... first install the water line in the bed, anker it and let it settle in place, then with you whole punch start put your drippers on, that way when you put it in the bed it wont be twisted up,.... you want the drippers facing up not in the bed,.... if they do they will get blocked after a few days.....

Thanks for the great idea.
Thank you ...you inspire me🙏👍
Love that small fence around the garden. Rabbits and other creatures love to eat my garden.

You see that as a problem,????
Thank you so much ☺️
Nice info..thanks a lot
Cool, thanks.
When you turn the water on I said to myself wow that's far more than a drip, more like a sprinkler system.
Glad its adjustable.
To avoid blockages add a good water filter to the water line
Would you/your husband please provide specific details on how he made the header and what supplies he used?
Hi, I wish you guys will show us step by step how he put the water pipe together, Thank you
You're not the first to ask... I'll have to go buy some more fittings to shoot the video, I'll put it on my to-do list. Thanks for watching and supporting our channel and our family business

I also would like info on how to install the main line and links to the parts I need. How about in a frozen climate 6 months of the year?
Irrigation plumbing is really situation dependant... We are in sandy soil without risk of hard freeze, so everything is shallow and above ground all year. If you have permafrost you'll need to go below the frost line and/or remove / purge the lines for winter.
Hi! May I know if you uninstall them during winter season?
So, in your climate, do you remove the irrigation system during Winter? Great explanation. I am inspired, to install my own drip system.
We are in West Central Florida, Gulf Coast, so we never reach freezing temperatures. However I did install the PVC headers with screw together unions so we can roll up and pull out the entire drip system if necessary for maintenance. Thanks for watching and supporting our channel and our family business!

Did you cover the top soil with something to prevent a wild growing grass/plant ?
What size of the tube? Thank you.
I have a tiny garden in comparison, but found myself watching, and thinking a drip line could still work well with my rain tanks. Explained really well, thank you!
(Ps, Would love to see a video on how the other white piping and the timer was set up.)
What’s the tubing diameter? 1/4 or 1/2? Thanks!
wow great job, where is this garden?

Home Depot
The Amazon drippers are cheap but only lasted me one season. They cannot be exposed to the sun for long period of time.
I am sorry that I just could not find the link where you ordered your droppers from. Would you please tell me here?
