Pole and win was a great way to mark the final race for the almighty Ferrari F2002. I'm surprised Ferrari didn't commemorate the 10th anniversary of this fine car in 2012 in a big way.
The last race for the f2002 Ferrari. I think they would have won championship easier if they just kept developing that car instead of using the f2003GA from next race
Grande Michael muitas saudades de você nas pistas, obrigado por todas as alegrias que senti e vivenciei com vice com a belissima Ferrari obrigado, Deus cuide de você amigo!
I've listened to it several times, I'm not sure the exact thing you are referring to. But what I hear at that moment is pretty much all the sounds you might expect from that model doing a turn on the limit. First is the revving before the brake, which is pure because of the amount of noise the engine makes when it under actual load at 18.5k rpm. Then is the braking, which is Michael's self induced ABS if you will. The signature hard dual clutch down shifting is heard while Michael hits the brake. Michael however usually kept 15 percent throttle on during the first 70 percent of the brake. This means we hear the tires skid rapidly and periodically, but consistently being recovered by pumping the brake in a precise way. Then as he accelerates, we do indeed hear a bit of traction control crack in the exhaust note. This is exactly intermixed with tire skidding however as one is the cause of the other. Then it blends into a full exhaust tune again, the Almighty Major 3rd(Oh when the| ---from when the saints go marching in), of the 90 degree v10, which despite its inherent sinful unbalanced nature, is perfectly balanced with 2 opposing balance shafts. Its turning the ugly duckling into a Phoenix. Grace itself embodied in the noise of a Racing machine driven by a racing archangel.
dhoyt902 Im not sure if the guy that said that 3 years ago was talking about this noise 0:50 to 0:53 but I guess is what you are saying, you sound like a mechanic or something :P
Pure genius behind the wheel!! Schumi is amazing!! Will alaways be amazing!! If only they would bring back the V10 and wider rubber!! Race pace has dropped in the last few years. Sureley the idea of F1 is to get faster whilst still being safe. The safety now is amazing, so why not up the power!!!!
From memory the grooved tyres were supposed to slow the cars down but the cars ended up faster after a while.. I hope I was sort of correct about this ..
Their mother died early sunday morning then FIA declared news that the Schumacher brothers might not compete in the race but then don't know what they said or happened they competed and Michael Schumacher won it, he and Ralf had black bands around their arm.
cant imagine what would have been between 2001 and 2006 if williams and mclaren didnt have the inconcistencies that they had. very rarely ferrari had the top speed to match them, but ferrari didnt have any trouble winning 5 straight championships
@Fastbikkel I think this track is better than Barcelona, Hungaroring, Valencia, Singapore, Hockenheim, Malaysia, Bahrein, South Korea, Xangai, Abu Dhabi. Worst than Melbourne, Istambul, Silverstone, Nürbürgring, Spa, Monza, Suzuka, Interlagos. Imola is still better than half the tracks actually.
Schumacher 2003 pole (Ferrari F2002) 1: 23.464 2: 27.467 Bottas 2020 pole (Mercedes W11) 1: 23.432 2: 25.478 Ferrari F2002 is slower in the corners but has the same speed on the straight. The question is....... is Ferrari F2002 with 2020 tires faster than the W11? I don't know, but the F2004 sure is.
He is and will be the best forever!
How I miss that sound!
LOVE THE SCREAMING V10
this is Formula 1 that actually feels of Formula 1

How would you take the chicane?
Michael Schumacher: Yes!

LOVE V10!! F1 will never be that great again.
He made a huge mistake, that costed him at least half a second, but he still managed to be in front. Astonishing!
Yes!!
I see!
The GOAT of F1
Rose tinted glasses my foot. This what was, and what F1 should be...
Happy birthday Michael

SHIIIT amazing!!!!
The best drivers for the best cars for the best moments
GET WELL SCHUMI !!!!
Pure bliss...
Love the sound of these cars.
Michael Schumacher is the best driver of all time

That sound, and that track, I'm not sure which one I miss being in F1 more.
1:03 a jet invades the track!
The good old days.
The last race for the f2002 Ferrari. I think they would have won championship easier if they just kept developing that car instead of using the f2003GA from next race

Im having an eargasm
There were no Track limits back then? 1:00
Nope. Back when sending it was still legal & risk reward was promoted
@@TERZERA24he almost lost half a second by making that Mistake and still got the pole
Michael Schumacher KING OF IMOLA!!!
There's one thing in the sound I don't miss: the annoying, crackling noise caused by the traction control cutting off the throttle.
deggis4 This sound 0:53 ?
I know its 3 years ago, but I like that sound in addition to everything else.
dhoyt902 what is that sound? This one 0:53?

凄いですね。この頃からすでにセナさんは活躍されていたのですね。皆の憧れの人!伝説の人!素敵な人!でした。
@TheV12ferrari yes i think she died in the night before the race !
The Master of f1, true Titan.
times f1 was hardcore. no kid tools like kers and traction control
The last race of the F2002 , one of the best F1 car ever built.
SCHUMI THE GOD FOREVER AND EVER
Lost a lot of time in the last sector. Still made pole
0:44... what a sound... another comment from me but I just miss those days.!
A senna 1994 pole time 1:21.548

Bring Back V10s ,mrEcclestone ,or you'll be cursed forever .

yes supermega has good videos because there is nothing but the sound of the f1 car and the fans :D .
Ouch! So 2 people close to Schumi died here. Senna and his mother.
From memory the grooved tyres were supposed to slow the cars down but the cars ended up faster after a while.. I hope I was sort of correct about this ..

Actually, she died on sunday (raceday) morning.

He won the GP FOR HIS MASTER FRIEND ON F1, AYRTON SENNA !!
I wish F1 would go back to Imola.

Deu uma escapadinha na saída da chicane mas foi uma boa volta!
the downshifts give me life
Is it only me who thinks this?
91 maclaren F1 is the best-looking F1 ever 😊😊😊
Ah finally, the version without the rubbish music. What a lap by the way :)
@Naganiet200

allright..

instead of racing, when i was 2 my dad thought it be better for me to go through school instead of becoming a f1 driver and forcing me into a kart😪
Proper Italy 🇮🇹
two guys are huge fans of damon hill :-D
When track limits weren't invented yet
This is also kinda sad watching because his mum died the next day and he won the race for her
@Naganiet200 rly?
@MrMuldi He IS the best driver
Schumacher 2003 pole (Ferrari F2002) 1: 23.464 2: 27.467

His car was not the fastest but his skill was unbelievable
@1988Carlsberg they not racing there anymore? I dont follow f1 these days anymore because its so boring and ridicilous tracks.
no his mother
a mi me gusta asi
Wish f1 still went here, makes me think how much I hate monza!!!
Your wish has become reality
QUESTI SI CHE ERANO MOTORI !!!!!!!!!!
Track limits, track limits! 😂
even he DOES admit senna was better.
Imola is one of the old traditional tracks, all new F1 tracks are only for the money. nothing more.
@MrMuldi Ayrton Senna was and stil is the best driver of all time...even M.Schumacher Admited that...
He was well past his prime and got bad car too. Did you even watch first few races of 1994? Nope.
Oui c'est le meilleur meilleur il savait rouler vite, ..comme senna toujours a fond ...
F1 just give V10 back V6 shit
Schumi wasn't the best F1 driver. He still is the best!
Even Hamilton can't be better than Schumacher
Track limits ? 😂
Michael completely sucked when he " came back " to f1 if senna was alive he wouldnt have any championships
