This is the solo project of Jen Ledger of Skillet. How is this gonna sound? Only one way to find out...

When they played this during Skillet shows John would jump on drums and play
Man, if not for Scary Death Virus, I would have seen that. But unfortunately my concert was cancelled...
Do they play Ledger songs live at Skillet shows?
David's whole bit on him getting mad at the boxer was hilarious to me 🤣, I love Jen too, and glad she made this song
Ledger was formed by Jen and Korey, so yes, it is Korey Cooper
"committing a hate crime against that high hat"...that was priceless. The way he was playing reminded me of Billy oel at the beginning of "Angry Young Man". I can say that she's not autotuned, my suspicion is a little reverb if anything; in the verse it's just the "radio" effect. It almost sounds like someone is doubling the chorus an octave lower under her...I don't think I'm imagining that.

Just some things I found amaizng,
Nearly all of ledgers, songs have a rock edit, so this song has a rock version, ( where instead of the synths they replace it with a hard rocking guitar sound,)
Another thing that’s korey form skillet, the whole skillet crew always helps Jen and John with thier sides projects, for this song I think, Seth from skillet (lead guitar) layed the guitar, korey did the production work, John did the bass I’m sure. And Jen and the band did the drums.
So korey and Jen have this Side project “ledger”
And John and Seth have thier side project “fight the fury”
Which is awesome!!!!
Another thing, before Jen official announced this, they played this on some skillet tours, and it was so amaizng to see John drumming for this track!!!!!!!
John is surprisingly amaizng at drumming, especially metal drumming.
And yes hahahah Jens drumming style must have rubbed of on the drummer.
This song was amazing all and all.
I’m assuming you got this by now, but the skillet crew are like a huge family.
Since they got Jen on when she was 16 I believe, she is like a child to John and korey🤣, as she said multiple times😆.
Anyway another great vid, just wanted to know the que number for “sick of it” if possible,

They are like a family and you can tell John and Korey treat her like a 3rd child. But Jen tried out for Skillet and was playing with them by 18. I know for a bit Skillets previous drummer Lori actually took time to train Jen a bit more too.

@@apec335 I mean the fact she took time to help Jen prepare shows how good of a person she is too. She didn't have to do that.
@@clemvp890 Sometimes Jen will preform Not Dead Yet during Skillet concerts and John will cover drums for her. It just shows how multi talented the whole band is.
That is Korey from Skillet! She produced the album
I saw Ledger preform live with Skillet and from ashes to new Feb 2020 before the pandemic shut everything down. She's got her own band and Korey and John do help but John only came out when he was backup in her song. The rest of the time was her own band and yes the drummer is awesome as well

Yes! There’s also a rock mix of this song for those of y’all that don’t like the synthesizer, it replaces the synth with an electric guitar 🤠
The song is about her overcoming anxiety attacks.

I like that you got pissed about her getting beaten up.
I know it's all staged and scripted.....but any time I see a man lay a finger on a woman in a violent manner......I get REALLY pissed. I'm sorry, I was brought up and raised to treat women like princesses and queens, they should be treated as such.....and any man that raises a hand to a woman is no longer a man.

You should check out Salvation by Skillet where they let Jen take the lead with John doing back up. Or you could check out Warrior which is one of Jen's songs for LEDGER where John is a guest singer. Honestly any of her songs with LEDGER would be good. I have yet to hear one even though she only has 8(9 I guess with Goner. But that is a at home performance of a unreleased song so it could change) and you already covered 2 of them
