I love how in depth this is, when I first started beading I had no idea how to charge and I used to undercharge which wasn’t great for me! and in the end I wasn’t really gaining a profit Iol now that I have more than a year of experience I like to charge about $20 an hour 😊 this will be rlly helpful for those who are unsure!
On average I spend about 1-2 weeks on a project, have been beading since the age of 12 or so, I’m currently 57, use only charlotte 13s cut beads, and am from Nooksack tribe, most of my work is for trade, and will be passed down to my grandkids. It’s wonderful to see your bead work, and you are teaching others to do the same.

I do think this important- we often under value ourselves. In the end, it’s all about what people will spend on your product - if you’re wanting to sell it anyway - and then you have to rethink what you’re doing and the time you’re putting into it for the money you’re making- I learned this the hard way over the years.

My work is just starting to become more popular where I am and I want to get into selling more beading, but charge what I actually need to charge a good amount for my work! I'm not sure why that's happening! It's still works on my end, you have to use it in google docs, it doesn't convert to excel very well.
This tells me I'm charging way less than I should for my work but then who would buy it. 🤔
